Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. It'S your girl, becca, giving you another hairstyle tutorial now in today's video, i'm going to be showing you how i did this low ponytail with rubber bands and you will not believe what kind of hair i use so make sure you keep watching and of course, don't Forget to give me a thumbs up, don't forget to subscribe and what we further do, let's get into the video. So first we're going to put our hair into three sections and i'm doing a side part. So i think i'm gon na do a deep side part and i think i'll do like here. Oh my hair is looking crusty. I like stick, i'm just going to perfect it and put my hair in three sections. Look at me, looking like don't be a minute. So i'll drink your juice in the hood - oh, my god! This look crazy! Anyhow, i know i said i was gon na do three sections, but i'm more than likely gon na do four or five i'm telling you when you have thick hair and you're slicking down your hair. It is best to work in sections. I promise it will make a complete difference, so i'm just going to get this out the way for now and then i'm going to clip these all together, because i'm not going to be worried about these at the moment, because i'm going to focus on slicking down The back first now, i'm just going to oil, my scalp, wherever i parted my hair. That way my scalp is nice and moisturized as it's in this slick back style. Next, i'm just going to spray water around the perimeter of the back part of my section. I'M going to do that around the top of my head near the crown, as well as the nape of my neck. Now i'm going to use the eco styler gel and i always use the one with argan oil because i feel like it gives me the best hold for my thick hair and then i'm just going to smooth that out. I also want to take my felicia leather wood brush. I love using the detangler brush when i'm slicking down my hair because it gets deeper to my roots as far as using a bore brush where it just smooths the surface. After that's done, i'm just going to put my hair in a loose ponytail and braid up all my ends, because when i do this, i'm going to then take out that ponytail holder and begin slicking, my hair down some more. This is going to ensure that my hair is as slick as it can get, and it takes a lot because, like i said, my hair is really thick, so it takes some time to slick it's not just a one, two three process, then i'm going to take A rat tail cone and just smooth out any kinks that i might have missed with the detangler brush, because those bristles are much bigger, then i'll be able to place my hair back in the ponytail and i'll be able to get a better grip because i've smoothed It down an extra amount of time for the style part. Remember i parted my hair in a deep side part and i'm just going to take that section and split it in half and then i'm going to make three parts at the bottom section and just twist that out the way and then at the top part it's Going to be more diagonal parting, so it's going to be three parts at the top as well. Now that i have all my parts and they're sectioned out the way i'm going to take some edge fixture, fixer and just smooth that onto my roots, to make sure i get a clean look and anytime, i use rubber bands. I always make sure i give them an oil bath. What i mean by that is, i just take my favorite oil and rub the oil on top of the rubber bands. That way, my hair doesn't break and it's moisturized for the first crossover i'm just going to take that bottom row, the one closest to my face and i'm going to bring that up diagonally to the last part of that top section. You also want to make sure that you're not tying your rubber band way too tight, because you will get a headache. But if you do, what you can do is just grab the twist and kind of loosely bring it out like tug on it a bit just to take away some of that tension on your scalp. The next crossover is going to be starting with the top portion of my hair closest to my face, and then i'm going to take that and place cross it to that middle section on the bottom part. For the last crossover, i'm just going to take the middle part of the top portion of my hair and combine it with the bottom portion in the middle as well. Now that the style is done with the rubber bands, i'm going to begin slicking down this other part, which i did split into two pieces and, of course, i'm just going to repeat the process of spraying water. Then we're going to place the gel, the eco styler, of course, with the argan oil, take my detangler brush and smooth down my roots following up with the rat tail comb and smoothing out any kinks that i might have missed and then i'm just going to lightly Place that in a bowl to get it out my way and repeat that same section on my sides as well, now that i've done slicking down my hair, i'm just going to place all that hair into a ponytail and begin on my side swoop. When it comes to the side swoop, i like to do everything forward and i don't like to have too big of a section, because it's just going to be a side soup. It doesn't require a lot of hair and then i'm just going to do that same process of wetting it. Of course i have to oil, my scalp, but i'm going to wet it place that gel detangle. It smooth it out as much as i can, because that's going to be the main focus of the hairstyle once i have my side sweep section smooth as possible, i'm just going to place it behind my ear and i'm following that section with my hand to make Sure it doesn't move and it stays in place and i'm going to secure that with some bobby pins. Next thing i did was tie my hair down with a scarf, and i took all that last braid out and then i combined all my hair together and one big braid for my ponytail. I'M going to be using clip ends and i'm going to show you exactly how i do it. However, you can use bundles or ponytail piece for this hairstyle as well for the first attachment of the ponytail. What i'm doing is just taking a pen and i'm placing that pen inside my braid while i have a piece of the hair clip connected to it, that way it's secure on my hair and doesn't fall off then i begin wrapping it upwards on my braid and Then i secure the end with that same pin for the next piece of the clip in what i'd like to do is just tie a knot. That'S going to get it secure onto my braid and then i begin wrapping it upward on my braid and, of course, securing the end with a pin, and then i just repeat this process until i get to the top of my head also want to point out That you want to make sure that your tracks are face downward because you do not want it to be shown. So, as you wrap it upward on your braid. Just keep that in mind for the shorter pieces of the clip ends. All i did was just clip. It onto my braid and then i did about two pieces of the shorter clips on my braid and then i just used a mirror to make sure that everything was looking nice and uniformed and anything where i saw any spaces. I just took some pins and made the hair look more full around my braid for the last piece to get more of a uniform looks. I took the last clip in and then wrapped it around the base of my ponytail to give a more unified and clean. Look and then, of course, i secured that with a pen now i did spray the hair with some water, and i added a little bit of gel just to tame the frizz a bit, and this is the finished result. And would you look at that? Your girl, hair is a laid okay. Ponytail is secure like we support a bag. You feel me, and i hope you all enjoyed this tutorial. Let me know if you would try this hairstyle, of course, don't forget to give me a thumbs up, don't forget to subscribe. So you don't miss one, the next time that i post, i have so much more in store for you and until next time, bye.
