Slick Back Ponytail On Natural Hair + Baby Hairs| Alexuscrown

Really going for a slicked back look so what what is up to all of my kings and queens? It sugar Alexis crown here - and I am back with another video for you guys so today, I'm going to be showing you how I got this sleek slicked-back ponytail. Look on the old using an old Washington go now. Disclaimer y'all know how I feel about edges in jails and it's controls and I'll do this. But you are going to have to manipulate your edges and hairline just a little bit to achieve like the sleek look. So you are making your hair susceptible to thinning and you know pulling in things like that, but that's the risk you take going into this hairstyle. Now, I'm just doing this because the day that you're watching this it is my birthday so be sure. To tell me happy right there in the comment section but the day that I'm filming it it's my birthdays Eve and I just wanted a different look. You know pulling my hair out of my face, so I'm just gon na walk. You step-by-step on how I got this look if you notice my hair is a little shorter in the video because I did get a haircut I'll need a wedding back but yeah, so I just wanted to. Let you guys know that I don't do. I haven't done this hair styling like I want to say 7. I haven't done this hair styling like 7 or 8 months. So this is something that I will only do like on a special occasion, almost like flat ironing your hair, because it's so much manipulation. I hope you guys enjoyed this video now that we have the part together, usually when I used to do this hairstyle. When I stopped, I whip my hair in the shower, since that can't be the case right now. I'M just going to really really really light on my hair in water and it's probably gon na take a little minute cuz. My hair super dry right now. So if you can, if you have super kinky hair, like me, I would say just you know: try to get your hair a little damp in the shower, because it'll make this a lot easier. Now that we have our hair saturated a little bit, it was take your eco styler. I like the olive oil, it works the best for me when I used to do these. I haven't done these in a long time, so we'll see how it goes. Ok, so you want to just apply it first off to really just separate the hair with the parties. I honestly would advise doing this. Look before you do your makeup. Cuz, then you won't be having to like avoid trying to not mess up your makeup with the water and the jail and I'll, let it especially if you have kinky your hair it'll be easier so get in there. Okay! So now that the hair starting to go in the direction that we want it ciao, I look like somebody uncle from the 7ds, so now you're gon na take your brush and start to just brush a form. No, the Widder. If you have kinky hair like me, the wetter, your hair, is the easier the easier it'll be to manipulate. As far as like laying down and stuff like that, but if you don't wet it all the way then you're gon na have a time trying to make it form. So, as you can see, I'm just trying to slowly but surely bring it. It'S just missing. Something taught me to do this first, but I just didn't want to be on a camera. Looking busted, I didn't watch I'll just constantly looking at me, busted without any makeup, so I say. Let me just try to do my makeup first, so they won't have to look at me for that long in a ratchet looking state. But now I'm wishing that I listen to my first mind: let's fix this partner, this already looking a little crazy. Now you just want to continue. You really want to really going for a slicked back, look so y'all, so I feel, like I've worked it down. Some to I, I broke a nail in the process of trying to get this get this Mane in a slicked-back ponytail. So I've just been um just good up something, so I just went to the restroom and just kept brushing and the direction just kept, brushing and brushing. So now that we have our scrunchies, I have one looser one and then a tight one, just to give it a balance. Cuz it's hard for me to get my hair into the actual scrunchie. So, let's see if we can get this done so we're just going to brush it in whatever side you want. This is the way I parted it cuz. This is how I used to wear it. So you wan na pull out whoo-chow. My head is a big all right yeah, so you can go back and fix your edges later, but for right now, I'm just focusing on at least getting it into a ponytail okay guys. So I think that we got it sleep enough to where we can at least get into the Punto so forum. So now I'm just going to take my scrunchie. Hopefully I don't break any more nails. I like to do it three times, but it doesn't always go through time. So we'll see if it'll go today doesn't feel like it is yeah. My bones, cracking uh stuff. Oh, come on we're! Almost there guys I spill um, I'm starting so bad. We got it. Author whoa, all right, I'm gon na go touch up my edges, some and then I'll be back all right y'all. So I got a lot of shrinkage going on. I'M gon na try to puff out my ponytail, but I did get a haircut recently. So, that's probably what that is, but I just kind of like swooped down my edges a little bit to make them look more sleek and my sideburns. So I know what I said about Pacific Ocean baby hers. Let'S just be clear: if you do this, you are, you know, making your hair susceptible to thinning, and all of that, like your edges, that's what you are doing. So you see how my makeup is like smudging and stuff. That'S why I say if you're gon na do this do this before you do your makeup, because you're gon na have makeup residue, but I'm just going to tie this around my edges and then I'll be back in like ten minutes to show you all. The final look all right, guys it's been like 20 minutes or so so, let's see the final results, not too shabby not too shabby for me to not have done this in, like 7 18 15 months, this hairstyle. The only thing that bothers me is that I wish my puff was bigger, but I keep forgetting that I got a haircut, so I needed one really bad, like the color that was on my aunt's was just tearing my hair up, honey, okay. So the last step for this - if you are like me and you're, not super precise, and you decide to do this hairstyle after your makeup - is already set in place. Take your contour palette. This is the Anastasia, Beverly Hills, cream, contour palette and whatever applicator that you use and go back, see you see kind of like here that is kind of my contour is gone, so just go back and go over that and then, where you apply to jail, you Just want to put a little over it, so it won't be like spotty if that makes sense. So it's not too bad honestly, but you can see all right here that all of the makeup that I have right there, it's gone so you're, just gon na go back and put that there like. We never left. Okay, I think that's good enough, okay, y'all and then then just puffs pick out your little puffs and I took some bobby pins. So how this is like sticking up right here. You kind of want it to be like that. So just take a bobby pin and stick it in there and the places that is sticking up and then it'll push your hair back and make your puff pop out more. Oh, it's hard for me to adjust it. This haircut, honey! Okay! Well guys! These are the final results of my slicked-back ponytail puff. I hope you guys enjoyed this a mini video.
