Day, one of trying the slickback ponytail until I actually like it, I have all the necessary equipment, a smoothing brush a round brush and I even have the wax stick. I love this hairstyle on everyone except me: do you think I should slick my hair first? That would probably make sense whenever my hair is in a ponytail. I have my front pieces out, so I'm not used to having it completely slicked back, although I was a dancer and my hair was always slicked back, so I actually don't even know what I'm saying. I love the clean girl. Look so many girls at Penn State wear their hair like this, and I just know they have their life together. How high am I supposed to put this ponytail? My goal for this year was to become more organized and I feel like the first step is looking like I'm organized. My hairstylist told me that I haven't been parting, my hair in the middle, but this looks like a middle part to me - is it? Am I wrong, I don't know, maybe it's an acquired taste

Kate Yaiko: So, you should take the end of a comb or something, and start at your nose. Try and draw completely straight up your face and you’ll see that your hair is ever so slightly parted to the side! Hope this helps!

Addisyn G: i have a few tips!! 1: wet the top of your hair first and then part it the way you want. 2: put it in a ponytail but it doesn’t have to be perfect 3: put the hair way EVERYWHERE on your hair. 4: take the pony tail out and your a comb or a hairbrush to slick it back. doing this while there is a lot of wax in your hair makes it so easy and it looks very good. 5: don’t forget about the underneath portion of your hair!! ❤❤

Caitlin Diaz: for me it helps to slick more diagonally towards the part rather than straight back so i sort of shapes my face bc i have short curly hair. also to part my hair i start from the back and pull forward that may help
