STOP WASTING YOUR WASH DAY because you applied WAY too much or too little product!! so...

How much curly or wavy hair product SHOULD you apply?

This is such an easy way to take an educated guess about how much of a cream or gel product to apply to your hair, without a huge 'trial and error' period! I LOVE products that emulsify like the LUS Brands all-in-one and Irish sea moss gel, because a little product can go a LONG way!

Here'S how to figure out exactly how much curly hair product to apply on the first try so start by circling your ponytail, and this is going to just be a general guide. We adapt it based on the product so step one! You activate the product by rubbing. It between your palms and then you add water, so if you emulsify it and it grows and it becomes creamier like the Lost Brands, all in one Styler or the gel, then you can use less than your guide amount of that product. If, when you add water, it just becomes diluted in your hand, you should probably use more than your guide amount to get the same results.

ima jenn: Thank You! This is what I needed from your first vid on this I'd love more things on this subject... Like Shine Gel turns pretty much to water, but how the @#$ do I spread a PEA in 1/4 of my head... Maybe going through some products and showing how you assess them (in longer vid or shorts)... Like, is it best to use Less hard hold than more medium hold on fine hair? How do you personally start assessing a new product when you are going to play and do a review?

Kat Brinson: I love your tips! I have not liked LUS in the past, but now I learned from you that I was using way too much. Now I like the product, so thank you for your help!!!
