Hi, i'm rochelle, i am the mother of the mother-daughter team of godiva's secret wigs, and i really want to talk today about other ways to wear our top pieces. Many of you call them toppers, we call them long tops, wavy tops medium tops and monofilament tops. But specifically, i want to talk to many of the thousands of women out there who are contacting us wondering if a hairpiece is right for them. If they have extremely fine or extremely thin hair around the crown area, where you're going to clip it, so i want to slow down a little bit and show you what is needed to wear a piece, and maybe this will help you decide because from all the Years of working with women all over the world danielle - and i know that new wig or hair piece wears specifically the ones that have very little hair and i'm talking about the ones where you can see the scalp or extremely thin. They want some more hair but they're kind of caught in the middle, because a wig would be quite a bit different and they're uncomfortable taking that step into wig wearing. So they feel that hair pieces is a good little step in and give it a whirl and see how they feel and i'm all for it. I think our top pieces are amazing, but sometimes you have to kind of let go of the idea of wearing a piece when your hair is too fine or too thin and what we need to do and help. You, then, is to give you the courage to move into wigs okay, but let's start with the little step, i want to show you ways uh. I want you to learn more about the pieces and then show you some of the other ways besides just clipping them. In and even women like me that have more hair but we're a little thinning or we want a little more height. These are some other ways to wear your top pieces that i haven't shown you before. What do you know there's still more information? Okay, so first i want to start by showing you the difference of a medium top. I'M sorry, a wavy top see the wave and a long top long top is smoother. They both are machine teased at the top to give you a little extra height, and that is great for some of the little tricks and secrets. I'M going to show you today the flip side, where the piece touches your scalp. The clips are in the identical place. There are four clips and remember that you can trim these shorter. Now we also carry a medium top and a medium top will look smooth just like this, but perfect for a woman that has shoulder length, chin length, hair and wants a little extra at the top and just a little to brush in medium top fabulous for you. Okay to the shoulder or shorter, but right now, let's talk about longer, so i'm gon na go slower. I want you to see. There are four clips. Our metal clips have grippers, that's not in most pieces, but only in ours and it's a little rubber gripper. So when you rock your fingers back and forth to open and close it listen, that's all there is to it. Ladies and the four clips will be very secure on your head. If you have enough hair, where you're going to snap the clips in so, let me show you in slow motion the way i typically show how to put it on so you're holding your piece, and you have unlocked the four clips. They'Re open ready to clip into your hair, so what i like to do is flip it over and typically it goes in many different places. But do you see where the clips are right there, so i'm not pushing back at least for this first one, i'm showing you okay, so i am just clipping it right at my hairline hold it clip it in okay. So this is the normal way to do it. What will make this piece look? Phony is, if you do it too low, very low, and if you have a real small forehead, you may then want to have some bangs trimmed into it. You can trim our wigs. Our pieces, any of them to customize it the way you want it, so i haven't even clipped the back in, but you can see it lifts my hair just a little bit. Okay. Now i want to talk directly to the women that do not have a lot of hair right here, so there are some other things that you can do with the top piece. First of all, i'm going to move some of this hair. That might be very, very thin for you and there's just not enough hair and let's face it. Ladies, even with the rubber grippers we at cadiz secret and you together, we want to keep all those precious hairs on your head. We'Re not trying to sell this to you to thin out your hair. We want you to enjoy our pieces because they're comfortable and they do not damage or inhibit your hair growth. That'S what we are all about at godiva's secret, wigs. But let's say you have many of you have written in. I don't have enough hair to clip those clips right there. So i've been thinking about this and playing so let's say that you move a little of your hair. You flip it back over and you're going to place it a little further back. Do you have a little more hair right here? So if you do clip it there and i'm kind of placing this where i would put a headband sneaky okay, but what i could do first is then put my hair or your hair right over the piece. Pull your hair with the piece and clip it and put it up. Here'S a clip! I'M going to actually show you, so it's kind of like this, here's the back. So that is one way that you could clip the piece in and remember once you get the two front clips where you want them, then you want to clip the back two clips in for security, so i'm going to clip them in there. You will always hear the clip and know it's secure. Please don't worry that this piece is going to fall off. It is not. The secret is. Have the clips close to your scalp. You don't want to hook it in hair. That'S longer because then the piece is going to feel flippy floppy on your head, so you just want to click it in close to your scalp for women that have super soft hair or you've just washed your hair, and it's really slippery and the clips just want To glide right through it, here's my little suggestion take a teasing brush and tease down just to the areas of your hair that the clip is going to clip into so what you're doing, and you might even put a little hairspray and then tease you're, just gently Nodding up those areas, so the clip will just slide in and get caught really great, but we don't want to see you destroy your hair, so not a whole bunch of teasing. It doesn't have to be done just in the areas where you'll put the clip. Okay. So that is way number one if your hair is thicker more towards the back than right at your hair line, okay, but we do have these pieces made so the clips. This is typically the thickest area when we're talking about the hairline - and i know my hair is thick to many of you. I know it's much thicker than many of yours, but this is the hair. I have to work with sorry, so i'm doing the best. I can to show you okay, so the next way this could be worn. Is i'm leaving it back there if that's where your hair is a little thicker again then right up here by the scalp by the forehead and i'm going to try a headband. This is a great way to disguise the connecting point. So, let's try it i'm going to put it right there and all your hair could be back behind or you could show a little hair and if you have a little longer hair here, you might even pull it around your face. It'S just all about illusion. Ladies okay, so that's a cute little headband and it is up right against where the top piece is. So, if you have enough hair that you will not see scalp right here, then the illusion will work, because the illusion is not going to work. If we can see your scalp here, but you have all this hair coming down in the back, okay, so have a critical eye right now and be honest with yourself, because you may be a perfect candidate for a wig and by the way i invite all of Our other viewers to please help these women that are nervous about jumping into wigs or pieces. Would you please write in the comments of this video how you went from? I don't want to wear a wig or a piece no way it's gon na look. Phony people are gon na laugh at me too. I wear this. I wear a wigger piece every day or all the time, and i feel beautiful and here are the steps i took. It would really be so helpful for so many women all over the world that are just caught in the middle, no hair, great hair. You know so here we go, so that's a little headband trick, another! It'S just illusion. Just playing i've. Just put my sunglasses or my glasses up here: listen, the real truth is all the people around us are so worried about how they look and what people are thinking of them. They are really not going up to you saying hmm. Is that your hair didn't look like that yesterday and by the way, if they do say susie, that's not your hair. Your response is not to be defensive and feel bad. Your response is to say you know what i was born with that hair, but i'm sick of it. I want something fun and new, so here's how i look today and guess what i might look different tomorrow and every day of the week take that stance be proud, stand tall and take a chance. So that's how i suggest you have a great response: okay, so classes, another is a thicker headband. So let's try it again, but this time we'll just slick that little hair over the piece. And if you don't have a lot of hair right here, maybe you could try it like this. Okay, but again be careful and you want to make sure that the sides and the back look natural connect with your hair. So the other way again kind of like i did before was just pull it back. Okay, so if you are not able to put one of the top pieces here - and you are not able to clip it, where i'm showing you right here and you have found another way to clip it in that you love, we need your suggestions and pictures, because The way i feel is if there is not enough hair on your head to make sense with a hair piece or a hair edition, then instead, i love you it's time to try some great wigs. Our wigs are most of them shortest just two ounces they're. So light, and by wearing a wig behind your ears in the beginning, you can ease into wig wearing or be bold and do something completely different. You know most of our clients own 2 to 20, wigs and pieces. They don't like how they look with their own hair. They want to have a particular look in their community and believe me, it might be surprising and shocking for the people or family around you, but you hang in there and very soon they transform their thinking and are more used to you in wigs or pieces or Whatever you choose than in your own hair and you'll feel so good, so that's my little tip for today. I hope this helps you in deciding. If a hairpiece is for you or is it time to jump into wigs, i hope i was a help. Please. Let me know and remember our amazing wigs are all wash and wear and our pieces. They will always look like this. We sell our shampoos and conditioners, and we have over 300 wig videos to educate you to build your confidence to show you the tips and tricks that most people don't. Okay, thanks for watching you

Becki Ireland: My #1 tip for wearing a top piece or a wig is, Stop worrying about what others think & do what makes YOU happy! If they are rude enough to question whether it’s your hair simply tell them yep, bought & paid for! If you’re considering a topper or a wig it’s PAST time! Go for it! You’ll be surprised how much better you feel about yourself! I have 2 toppers and 3 wigs. Love them!!!

Kathy Casey: I have been wearing a topper for 2 years now. I'm on my third one now, since I wear it every day, even in the shutdown. I have gone lighter with each topper, and it's been amazing how they all look natural and match my hair color. My newest one is maple sugar, and I like to wear it when I'm wearing warm colors. I use box hair color every 6 to 8 weeks to keep the gray roots from showing on the sides of my head. The toppers are all highlighted so beautifully that people admire my hair and think I've been to the salon. I was self-conscious about my first topper, which I knew I needed for several years. But the moment I put it on, I loved it and felt good about it. My husband had been a little nervous about it as well, but when he saw it, his face lit up and he said, "You look like you!" Once I was accustomed to it wearing it around the house, I knew I had to take the next step and wear it in public. A friend saw me and said, "I love your haircut!" A couple of people have asked me in the last 2 years who does my hair. I hesitated a moment and just told them where I get my hair cut! No one has remarked at all about my hair other than they love my new style or something like that. My family has gotten completely accustomed to it. My daughter in law said there was something different about me the first time she saw me - and asked if I lost weight! I have told my children and grandchildren but not my 5 siblings or their spouses or children... and not a one of them has said a word about it. I think it's like my husband said the first day I wore it, I look like myself.

Donna Murphy: Do what makes you feel pretty. My hair is very thin thanks to Menopause and weight loss. I thought about a topper but then just went for a wig (finally just cut my bio hair really short). I wore my first wig (Freedom in Marble brown) for a picture that my sister posted on FB. My sister-in-law said how pretty it was and how much she liked my "new hair cut and color". When she came to visit, I put Freedom on, said hello, gave her a hug and we sat down to chat. I said "so you really like my hair"? She said "yes I do"..I said "it's a wig" and took it off...man did her jaw drop! Even the people that you know may never guess and just think you look great! Now I have 6 wigs and my sister has 5 that we can share (I wore Thin Candice in Spring Honey the other day). We can be whoever we want to be when we go out..no one stares at us or gives us weird looks. They have no idea! Good luck ladies!

Marilyn Talpash: I’ve been wearing toppers for about 4 or 5 years now. I’m 75 years old, have genetically fine, thin hair that has thinned over the last few years due to genetics and extremely stressful circumstances. My first purchase was one of your pixie cut wigs which was as cute as a button but even though I removed an inch out of the back ( following your directions) I couldn’t get it ti stay on. ( my head circumference is just under 21”). So I have been wearing the toppers ever since and really like them. My first long topper finally bit the dust when left for Florida this year, so I removed the clips and attached 2 each to the sides of two medium toppers I purchased from you. Those extra clips really help keep my topper from sliding around. Those clips are really good clips, much better than the ones you sell separately. If I could make only one suggestion it would be to supply the good clips, either on the sides of the toppers or available for purchase. My Florida home is in a condo development with a great social neighbourhood of Canadians and Americans and when I arrived in Florida wearing my new medium topper. I was inundated with compliments. Where did I get my hair styled. What a beautiful colour. You look great! I love my medium topper. And it’s so easy to put on. Thought I’d let you know

Sandra Burkhard: Thank you for making this video! For caring enough to show us & encourage us to feel better about ourselves. And it's nice to see a woman my age as the model in the videos too. I'm working on my courage.

Pamela Burnam: That was the sweetest message. I just bought my first topper. I can't wait to wear it! Cut and color scheduled for next week!

E. Biggers: I just received my medium topper in maple sugar-R and love it! The determining purchase factor is all the videos available that gives so much info. I love this topper and your videos so much! And I'm positive I'll be ordering more!

Aura Aurora: Five stars on the video. I am new to all of this and I plan to get some of the color swatches to get as close as I can to my own color. I have decided to have the hair I want. I will use whatever method necessary because I am tired of feeling ugly. So wigs here I come.

Anne Aires: Talk about uplifting PSAs! Thank you so very much! I'm heading for a hairpiece down the road & will def be purchasing from you guys! So very helpful & honest!!!❤

Mary Mary: A perfectly timed video, but I also wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all this extra customer service. So many good videos and you're still coming up with new educational content, haha! Really wonderful. I went to a wig shop yesterday, I live in a major city, and basically left with the advice that I should search their online store for large caps because they have to get stock from the warehouse anyway. The whole point of going into the shop was because all online wig websites in my country refuse to accept returns unless faulty. AND if they order anything from their warehouse for me to come in and try on first, I must still commit to buy it! Madness. The wig colours online are tiny inch swatches, impossible to tell what the wig really looks like in various colours. I asked them to show me some examples in store so I could recognise them when I searched later... but it was all too hard for them. I felt like Pretty Woman, money in hand and nobody wanted to sell me anything. Sigh. :-)

SS: Rochelle asked for comments from first time wig users---that would be me. I can say, my hesitation was that a wig would look "off" and make me look ridiculous. I'm pleased to say, this is not the case. I purchased two wigs and they look fantastic. I chose wigs that are similar to my regular cut and length in two different colors. I look great in them! I'm still new to wearing them, so I'm getting used to how they fit best, but the bottom line is, I'm VERY happy with my purchase.

romeroshannon: I've had my Godiva medium topper for about 6 months. I absolutely love it. I pull my little sparse bangs forward and clip it behind. I'm able to hide the transition well. I pull it all up into a clip in the back. I have height! I feel confident when wearing it. I've had comments that nobody can tell and how well it matches my color. I haven't mastered leaving my hair down with it yet. My fine hair just looks crappy and won't hold any shape. I can't believe it took me so long to give in and try a hairpiece. I can't feel it either. I'm 50 and have never had this much hair and volume on top!!

Susan Cashmore: What a GREAT video!! Funny how creative juices flow from wonderful ideas like your video patiently showed! I got the idea today, after watching your video, to use my Katie wig as a top piece. I know you have a wonderful video that shows how to alter a wig you love into a top piece. I just put my Katie over my own bio hair, which is about her length. My bio hair is slightly darker but it looks like the "melt" coloring that is so popular right now. I sewed in four clips into Katie. So my Katie is still a full wig, but I can now leave my own bio hair out and use her as EITHER a top piece or a wig. Love love love your wigs and your continuing videos!!

Dee Roga Tory: Great confidence building video. I'm to the point now, I take my topper off when speaking to women who look like they need help when they comment on my hair. The last thing we need to stress about in this life, right here, right now, is hair. :-D Keep being the light that you are.

Firefly Farmlet on the Eno: This is excellent! I was wearing your long topper in Irish spice, but since the pandemic have decided to quit coloring my hair. I will be ordering in silverstone! Most of my thinning is in the back so I am successful in doing the 2nd idea you showed. Place the topper further back and use your bio hair to pull back over the topper for a natural hair line. Thank you!

Dink Lakin: I love how ya'll are always showing us how to make our own selves find a way to feel amazing about ourselves and also encourage others to do the same ... to find a way to achieve feeling better about ourselves !!! Thank you !!!

Gillian Jones: I love that I came across you’re channel! Just at the right time, as like my grandmother, I’m at the age where I’m really starting to have thinning hair all over. I have lost the volume on the top and front and I’m not “feeling” as pretty as I could. My grandmother wore wigs all the time. I loved her look both with and without the wig in a cute ponytail. Modern wigs have come along way in looking more natural and are more breathable. I am seriously going to look into getting one of you’re toppers! As I think I am worth it to look and feel pretty always, at every stage of my life! Feeling and looking beautiful is not only for the younger girls! I work in woman’s retail and I could tell you about how many older women that feel they are too old to embrace colour or certain styles and don’t feel justified to look pretty anymore! Who wants to fade away into the background!? We woman are all worth it and we only live this one life! So embrace it! I really love the way you communicate to you’re viewers! Very down to earth and relatable. I Thankyou!

Cherie Cave: I just received my Wavy Topper Friday! I LOVE IT! It is the first one that matches my hair. I have two other toppers and they are way too straight. The color Creamy Toffee-R matches pretty perfect. I'm learning to play with it as I have extreme thinning bangs...and I love bangs. So I have to figure out how to wear it. I might have to cut some bangs into it. One thing tho, the topper is very shiny. Should I put some dry shampoo on it? My own hair is not shiny. It's wavy and and almost frizzy. I love your videos. I've learned a lot. Thank you!

Vuppet Show: It’s true I started with a piece and now a wig and no one has noticed! The few I told were shocked how real my wigs look

LadyAvalon9: Rochelle, you are absolutely adorable! I LOVE all your tips and tricks and yes - I LOVE Godiva wigs and pieces!

Sandra Millard: I just ordered a long topper in vanilla lush. It’s on the way. This video came at a perfect time. Thanks! ❤️

Maudie A: Oh my gosh is this video timely! I have the topper but am struggling with how to keep it on since my hair has thinned even more where you clip it. Yay! You ladies are so responsive and caring. I'm going to try a couple of these ideas as it is as topper is so much easier and comfortable for me to wear. Love this and love you! God Bless you both!

Joanna Ledbetter: I purchased the long top in Creamy Toffee-R and I've had so much fun with it and absolutely love it. ~Joanna ♡

R s: So glad you did a video on toppers...for some of us that are still uncomfortable with the wig, toppers are a great transitional piece. I think a few more videos on toppers wíll lead to more wig sales..,.Some of us on the fence need to take baby steps..(especially with medium or shorter styles)...I know this video has helped me immensely to at least get off the fence!! Thank you.,

Pat Staggs: Rochelle, you're adorable. I have 6 of your wigs now. I hope you stay in business forever, as I may even order more.

Linda Skode: Great video! It was perfect for me as I have fine hair and not an abundance to boot. Lots of useful info...

Barbara Chandler: How I transitioned to my new hair afterI semi retiring, then when I was called in, new hair street clothes, WOW. I got so many compliments! The heat where I work is extreme and I sweat from my head, I think I melted the hair right off my head! You might think I work in a steel melting place, glass blowing, nope, I work with Seniors who are always cold, and wear thick sweaters. I "there's a breeze in here, no, that was just me walking by you" I have coworkers who wear wigs but they come from hot countries, they look amazing and are not hot. So get that piece or the whole head of hair, Wow everyone who sees you, I plan on getting another.

Kit kat: I love mine! Thank you for changing my life, and my hair!

Ruby Léone: I’m so excited! The new Taylor Top I ordered is due to arrive today. I’ve only worn a small hairpiece ages ago. Basically a new experience for me. Can hardly wait!!!

Susan Gardner: You girls are so convincing! That’s encouraging! I will buy as soon as I can! I really love several of your hair products!~

Jeannie Deal: Very uplifting video! Love your attitude and love your wigs. I first got Freedom, then Aria, then Tiffany. I love them all!

Celia Adjmi: Hi,Rochelle, last week I received my first wig, Alana I marble brown ,after watching your videos for two months and researching company videos and I love it but I didn’t know that I could have it with roots ,so I will use it for a while and reorder it with roots and mono cap because I love it so much. I also would like to order the topper if ,,it comes in marble brown. Thank u for your wonderful videos, yours celia

Mary Mary: I bought a wavy top just this week and I was so disappointed. I even spoke with staff via email because I couldn't get it to look right, sit right or make sense with my hair. It was all packed to be returned. But after watching your tips, I'm wearing it and it looks fantastic. I can't believe the difference!! Thank you for saving me shipping costs and giving me ideas to create exactly the look I was after. I followed your steps at 7.20 sliding fringe pins (open bobby pins) in and forward on top without penetrating the cap - the silver/grey colours moosh together well and the gap/shadow just looks like dark regrowth under my own hair.

Susan Gardner: My hair is thinned out all over since I have matured with age over time. It began in my early 40’s just at the beginning of menopause, plus with illness, only added to the drop out factor. My hair was always very thick with medium texture and with a lot of: “I wish I had your quality hair”compliments~ I have never wanted to wear a wig, just not something I was comfortable with. Besides, they can get a little steamy under the cap when your scalp heats up. So I began to wear hats. I always liked hats but didn’t wear them before because I had my thick hair as my head cover. Well, since my beautiful hair has been shedding for a little over 30 years now I began wearing hats. And, hats with hairpieces as well. I use hairpieces at times, it’s about as close as I can get to a wig! Now, I wouldn’t mind trying out a wavy topper. After viewing this short video, it has given me great motivation about getting the wavy topper. How gorgeous those girls make those toppers look so real and lifelike! I’m going to give it a shot and go buy a wavy topper! Enjoy your videos! Great work!

Colleen Dattolie: For whatever reason, I’ve lost quite a bit of hair this year. I may be a little different, because my hair has always been fine and thin, and I’ve always wanted more hair and to get a wig. Wish I knew about Godiva’s earlier. I pulled the trigger and got a wig shortly after Covid-19 hit. It was actually a good time since I could try it out for a bit at home. The first day I went to work with my new hair, I was a little nervous, but do you know, no one knew it was a wig! And I’ve worked with these people for almost a year LOL! They just told me how much 5hey liked what I did with my hair. My own hair color at the time was Auburn and the wig’s color is Coffee Latte, not even near each other! Not one person questioned it. Rochelle is right, people really aren’t paying as much attention to us as we think they are! I get so many compliments on my “new hairstyle” cut and color. One woman told me she loved my hair and wished she had hair like mine. I actually told her she could, because it’s a wig! Try it out. Once you get used to it, you’ll be glad you did!

Linda Harding: Thank you! I just got a medium “topper” but I think I need a wig. Hugs!

Ott Gavras: i’m so looking forward to my shopping day...i wore a 3/4 fall as young as in my 20s . but thy fall is long gone.. and so is most of my hair due to health issues, but no matter i’m 68 and i love these wigs an toppers and really looking forward to my make over day.. love you guys at Godivas Secret wigs.. ❤️

Kim Brandis: This is the video that convinced me to go for it. I bought a Taylor Top in Mochaccino R which is close to my natural colour, and I have received so many wonderful compliments. People can't believe that it isn't my own hair. Thank you Rochelle and Danielle for your videos, I am now thinking about going for a full wig. I am having so much fun!!

Viviana Salomon: For a person who is learning the English language, like me, it is a blessing that you speak so clearly and slowly. This is the video I was needing to see and I am communicating with you or your daughter Danielle (as my daughter is called too) via email. Thank you !!!

rene vanhoutte: Love your inspiring videos! Thank you!

delia cox: Fantastic. I wear wigs as I lost my hair through stress of my husband's death and cancer. Looking at toppler now as well. Time for change.

Patti MacLaughlin: Thank you for this video...I have been watching a lottttttt of videos and no one has explained toppers like you have here!!!

sonja fountain: I am new to wearing wigs...in fact I am still adjusting to it...I have spent so much time and money only to be irritated, discouraged, frustrated and disappointed with how my hair looked...I like feeling beautiful for myself.. I don’t care if other people enjoy it...I wish I had got involved with wigs earlier in my life..the first time I put my wig on I was a little reserved about how it looked...I was timid to wear it..but after about 3 days I looked forward to wearing it...I have noticed that I can go without makeup when I wear my wig...it gives me an elegant and polished appearance in about 5 minutes...it’s easier to make clothing choices because my hair is stylish I don’t have to fight to look presentable anymore...if your hair is very fine the toppers will help..however what about the bottom of your real hair? Wearing a wig takes care of the guess work...also your wallet will thank you...no more coloring and sticky hair products...no more expensive trips to the salon... I can’t count how many times I left the salon and after I got home being irritated and feeling like it was wasted time and effort

Alterjunkie: Hello beautiful, This looks wonderful on you. I think I might just get this. Hope you and your daughter are staying safe :-)

Diana: My hair is sparse on top. I have the curly topper that I trimmed with bangs and then I tie a folded scarf on my head with my bangs showing. I feel my topper is so secure not to mention switching to many patterns and colors of scarves.

Anita Rushlow: Your words are very positive and uplifting!!! I love listening to your words of wisdom! Thank you so much.

Amanda’s games yt moo: I have thinning hair. I went ahead and purchased my first wig about a year ago. The wig may seem daunting but they look so natural and comfortable. There's no way I would use a top piece. But that's just my opinion. Do what you think is best for you, but don't be afraid of the wig. :)

Kat Howard: I'm very impressed with your YouTube post and how on the website you demo the pieces. Just fantastic.

Colorado Kid: Thx for the topper review. I have purchased two of your toppers and soon a third. I don’t like synthetic hair but your synthetic hair is very good. On both the mono long top and long top, in addition to the clips I use Supertape in between the clips. I was surprised to see that the tape held. I also sleep in my topper. At night I pull the hair onto the top of my head and wrap it. I then put on a SILK nightcap. No damage that my hair. I swap out my topper weekly. You don’t want to leave the Supertape longer than a week because it will get messy. I do wish you had a choice of density in your toppers. They are 2.5 oz and I prefer 2.8 to 3.0 ounces. Your wavy long top is shorter than the long top. I believe that should be brought out. Thanks again for the video.

Laurie Levine: I recently got a topper due to thin hair and loss on top. I posted photos on FB from a family event and my comments exploded "you look so young" "your hair looks great". I have told many people it's a fake and they have continued to give rave reviews. AND, I continue to feel a little awkward and nervous when I see someone for the first time.

pamela atagan: This is so true, fine fine fine hair went down the wig road early in the pandemic, loved the look, but never felt truly comfortable now have 4 toppers, amazing two synthetic one heat friendly one human hair, love all of them for different reasons, live in Scotland far away from Godiva's secrets would try there products but trying to match colours etc. More difficult. Great advice though.

Caroline Bridgeman: I'm quite new to wigs and first bought a bob cut then went a bit longer with my 3rd one and everyone loves it and says how much it suits me and the best part makes me look 10 years younger result my hair has been thinning for years has slowly got worse since menopause I was very dubious at first now wouldn't go out without wearing a wig now.

Sandra Mcgehee: Thank you ....you have been so helpful I did get your messages and I will be ordering soon I may call for help when I place my order Thank you again for your help

Amy Marie: Ughh u are the best, and u always look so pretty & put together. Love it

the campette ohio lero d & l: I proudly say that I have and wear wigs. I point out that it takes me 5 minutes to get my hair ready.

DeLoris Musick: If your hair is really thin where the clips go, one thing I have discovered is make a pin-curl and fasten with crisscrossed bobby pins. Then set the clips in front of the pin-curls.

Charlie Happy: I’m 28 and for almost Two years I’ve been dating a 51 year old of man who is refreshingly honest. As much as I love that He negatively commented on my hair and nails throughout beginning relationship. The stress caused me to loose even more hair. I’ve always had thin hair and didn’t grow hair until I was 3. I was bald, my mom would tape a bow on my bald head. My mom is a hero though because she went through a divorce as she was pregnant with me. Found out my dad was cheating. She finished her nursing degree while raising all l three of us. New born me, 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl. My belief is the stress she felt went into my body. As I mentioned I’ve never had hair. Always ThIN. I started with toppers just as she mentioned. But exactly as you described my hair was too thin at the front so I switched to wigs. I should try your brand because it seems like you mentioned every thing I would have commented to you. Thanks for posting positive videos and helping normalize this for me. No one understand me

Teresa smith: I love love my topper. I still get compliments on it even people who have commented before. I had a few other brands but I'll never buy anything other than Godiva again!!!!

K. Bitz: Being a trans female, I deal with good old male pattern baldness, so I have a slight bald spot on top but my hairline is going further back. Sides are great but what can I do ? Is a wig better or a top ??

Gary Joaquin: You and your daughter are amazing communicators.

Susie Manry-Abshire: In 1970 at the age of 17, I thought of a way to wear a fall without anyone knowing. I didn't like the hair band everybody wore that showed the big bump. I sandwiched the fall between my hair. I put the front of the fall way back on my head and pinned it. I then pulled my hair back and made a little ponytail to cover up the evidence. The back of my head was where the crown of the fall laid but I got it to flatten. The fall then was as long as my hair. My mother wore a wig also every day and she had thick hair, she just didn't like styling it. I wore it for about 3 years like that then I cut my hair short. I always wondered if anybody else wore their hair like that.

Karen Mahan: Rochelle, I have to tell you this funny story! As I was watching this video tonight, my hubby leaned over on the sofa and said "What are you smiling and nodding about?" I looked at him, shocked and said, "I was???" I had no idea I was doing any of that! My husband told me I had the biggest grin on my face for the past 15 minutes! I told him it must have been in response to your personality and kindness coming right through the screen on my tablet. You are so personable and I can see why you have made so many ladies happy with their hair again, including me. So, thank you for letting me exercise my face tonight! I do have one question regarding the Toppers...is there a reason you don't make short Toppers? I have a very short version of the old Meg Ryan style haircut (fits my face perfectly) and have fairly good hair all around, except right in the top front where it is very thin, fine and wispy. I end up having to wear a full wig because I cannot find a Topper to fit my need. I can't be the only one with this issue..? Thank you again for making me smile tonight. It's been a crappy month out of a horrid year. You made me feel...happy! God bless!

Rayane Benz: Hi i very love it it s exactly what i need

Ellie Antar: VERY INSPIRING THANK YOU

Yvonne: I am wearing toppers for 4 years now and I have very fine hair. I replace the clips from time to time and also use loose clips to secure the hair of the topper to my own bio hair. You cannot see them when placed on the lower layers of the topper. I don’t know what I would do without toppers. I have tried wigs but cannot have them on for too long because it starts irritating. So its perfect for me! Thank you for sharing all your information you are the best! Grtz from Holland

Vicky Kawaguchi: Amazing, such good ideas.

Jean Mastrangelo: Many many years ago I had gotten a hairpiece it matched my color my hair very well and really was one of the old fashion alligator clip and how full the hair comes down and it looks like a really cool ponytail I was in the mall and I had a woman yelled to me from across on other side of the escalator and she turned around and said “hey is that your hair...Or is it one of those hairpieces” I had my kids with me I was mortified and I turned around and slip my hairpiece and it was the first time I cursed and lied in front of my children and I said “bet your ass that’s my hair” I know it’s hard but you can’t let other people put labels on you! Whether you want to wear a full wearing a hairpiece or just pump up your bangs it’s no one‘s business and if they’re rude enough to ask just always answer them with of course it’s my hair and walk away with your head held high! Because they’re jealous because you look gorgeous! Don’t let their problem become your problem✌️

Roxanne Ricchio: Thank you thank you for this video! ❤️❤️❤️

Tricia Byrne: Love all your suggestions ... What about on occasion wearing your piece with a ball cap?

jayandess: The only way I can get the clips to work in my hair is to sew them in with the rubber strip on top. The 'correct' way round doesn't seem to grab enough hair to hold properly.

ChooseHappy Mc: I just started wearing a topper (due to very, very, thinning hair). Kind of nervous, but everyone does, even young ladies who dont even need to. Old lady hair put years on you… I notice when I have my topper on, I look younger and the videos of older ladies.. when they put the wig or topper on, they look younger.

Nadine UU: I would love to purchase both of those toppers in dark brown (almost black) but there aren't many choices for darker colors.

Ott Gavras: this video is the best.. just looking at them i can tell there great still haven’t. been able to get one but hopefully it’s soon... ♥️i guess i’d say this video was very inspiring to want to get one.

L C: I just love you gals! Thanks so much for all of your videos!❤

Barbara Mullis: Yes!! A Top piece may be just what I need. I'm looking at you Rochelle & have your head or hairline! Do you have the longhair line in a Copper Red? This wood be my 1st of any helper hair! Love your video & would love some suggestions. I going to check out your pieces now on the last video! Thank you! Barbara

Jacqueline Sidikova: Love it

L L: That was great!!!!!

Donna Manning: When I visited upstate New York I was astounded by the women who had severe bald spots and thinned hair. I thought could it be Love Canal or the Hudson? Was it their medications? Younger women were so proud of their manes of long luscious hair but over 40 seemed to be affected. In any case they would have been so improved in so many ways with some alterations to their hair had they accessed this resolution. My heart goes out to them. It is a hard fact to deal with hair loss as a woman. It doesn't have to be if the can use your products.

KET: I have one of your toppers, which I love. Just wondering if you have any suggestions to take the shine out of it. That for me makes it look fake. Open to any suggestions.

Corinna Yorke: How do you look so gorgeous in everything? ❤️

Kathy Hensley: When I purchased my first wig I was afraid it would look like the ones from 20-30 yrs ago. You walk into a room and can tell it's a wig from across room. These are not that way. It looks real even when you hold it in your hand. I have 2 now and I'm ready for another. Just can't make up my mind which one.

L Wild: so helpful. how long approx are medium tops?

rosy Lee: What's great about the godiva secret wigs is you can order and send back no questions ask as long as You follow the rules and it's done in the proper time slot. it has taken me 4 months to land on mono top. I have a smaller than petite head and I so want their wigs!! They have ulta petite but I have long hair. I bought aria on sale After seeing it on the little girl, who is beautiful by the way, that I'm going to try to make smaller following Danielle's video. The issue with that now will be the capsize actually goes over my ears so have to figure that out! but in the meanwhile I tried the taylor top which everyone tells me looks wonderful but I just feel like it's a little too big sitting on my head (teased) no matter what. I do make it look cute with clips so I do like it. Turns out the mono top Is much thinner on top, is a little more pliable/flexible and lies flatter. So I'm happy I have 2 different types one could be like wedding Special occasions. Because when you go to the salon you know they make you big! And my mono could be daily. I got cafe latte and it's perfect!

Love me some PopTarts: I'm 51 at the age of 19 my hair gradually started to fall out I've done some drastic things to hide or even try and get my hair to grow and when someone at my job asked me "why are you losing your hair, are you on medication"? I knew I had to do something! I got conned from a local beautician/stylist who was raking 1000's of dollars from me each year for a glue on hairpiece knowing really I couldn't afford it and was using my tax returns to pay for it! Once I decided this is enough the glue on "System" never looked real and could not even get one with a real looking part. I now wear wigs and I love them and when I'm relaxing at home i have the luxury in taking them off and wearing a kerchief or a bonnet and am now free of the glue on pieces that did nothing for me but caused my hair to fall out sooner and I also developed cradle cap "YUCK"! Kudos to these women in the field of helping people get their confidence and look their best!

Rose Hendrix: Thank you, Its time to get a wig.

OsCarolB: Awesome! Thank you!

Love me some PopTarts: Someone had asked me "is that your hair"? My response... "Yes, it is! I paid for it"! Another person had asked me "You look different, what did you do to your hair"? My response..."I colored it and maybe next week I'll color it again" and walked away!

Rita Cileone: I purchased a top piece, the Taylor top with roots, after about a year of debating with myself to get a hair piece. After trying it on, I was going to return it because I felt so self conscious about wearing it. My husband and daughter tried to talk me out of returning it, but I was still undecided. So, I asked a couple of my friends to come over one night and I wore the piece. Both of them remarked at how great my hair looked. They especially loved the highlights and said my hair stylist did an amazing job! When I told them that it wasn’t my hair, they could not believe it. I have worn my Taylor top ever since. It gives me back the confidence I had lost due to my thinning hair.

Love My dog: Great job...❤️

Maryanne Montiy: Oh my gosh I love that I can't believe that I want that so bad thank you for showing me that the first time I ever seen anything like that by hair is so thin I do know that I want one so bad

Ursula Green: I am very thin like you describe, the first inch in the front hairline, and at my temples. Unfortunately right where I need the clips, and where I cant hide the front of a topper. Like you describe, I have more hair in the back. Yeah I'm still looking at the wigs too. Haha. I might need to go to a location. Only not near any I know of.

Cristina D'Riviera: Yes great work! But why don't you make LACE FRONT toppers? Surely you have a reason? Thanks so much.

Cleopatra561: I need the long topper but you can see my hair is auburn, and I did not see a truly red shade in the long - only the medium topper. Are the synthetic toppers color friendly? Or do you have a long one in a red shade that I am missing? Thank you kindly. PS - this photo was taken in February. In March I caught Covid at a gala, with a fever for 45 days. About a month later my hair started falling out. I lost at least 1/2 of the volume of my hair. It fell out through May, June, July & August, but stopped in middle of September, and most people don’t notice because I had such thick hair - but I do. Thank you so much.

Barbara Chandler: I have a top piece, not from Godiva, I now know from watching your many videos that the piece I have is too small, clips at the temples and back but I hav very little hair there. I have been getting compliments and I hear myself saying, "it's not real!" I am semi retired so I come back to work for a day with new hair, a shock to all, a good shock. I think its so important for the person selling a top piece is that the hair is still falling out and the clips no longer work, that's the case for me. I'm going to order your wavy top in the proper size

Barbie Lockett: I adore wigs. Shirt med long, I like the clips, and I like the extensions..with clips, you can put them anywhere you want them. And they stay on or you can take then off. Have fun lot of people during m 25 in years or so, never knew I had wigs cop ons of what ever they seen me in that day, Is That your Hair!!!! It sure is I paid for it....Have Fun Barbie...

Pamela Ingold: You are so pretty, love this video!

Tracy Garner: Once I started looking at wigs I suddenly realize many of the women I see have on a wig or topper. I had no idea. I thought they just all had perfect hair. Hahahaa now I have clip in extensions, a topper, and two wigs. I feel better now that my hair looks like everyone else I see. I saw a woman at Walmart with perfect white hair. Turned out she used the purple hair shampoo. Well I am learning all the secrets to perfect hair. Same with a coworker whose hair is perfect no matter what time we get to work. Turned out I found her wig online. Hahaha I have been admiring peoples wigs for years and didn't know it. It is worth the money.

Dawne Camacho: I have been thinking of getting a topper for myself. I have fine thin hair and I really need a topper. I will be calling your company.

Regina R.: Thanks for sharing. You are so clever!

Kathy Pigeon: If I have a very very short haircut, would I be able to wear a topper? I hesitate getting a wig as I have a very hard time dealing with anything on my head.
