Hi guys welcome to my channel today, I'm gon na share with you guys how to construct your own ponytail extension, and this can be using curly, hair or even straight hair, whatever here that you guys basically have and don't forget to watch part two to check out How I installed it so here's my synthetic ponytail that I got from ebay for less than four dollars when you purchase yours since you're just gon na cut it, you can just get the shortest length and the shorter the length the cheaper. The hair is so you can definitely grab yours for literally like two dollars, so here I'm just gon na go ahead and cut off as much hair as possible. So once you cut off the hair, this should be what your soon to be ponytail extensions should be looking like. So first thing we're gon na do is take some hair. I literally am just taking any kind of hair that I just have laying around in the house that I don't really care for. This is right now, but I'm showing you it's fully one bundle, and this is from what it looks like a body wave, hair texture and I'm going to take some thread at this thread. I got from Sally's and this is made for weaving thread and I'm gon na take a c-shaped needle, which is what I'm gon na be using to sew the hair down onto the points hug. When I always sew hair. I always double weft in my tracks, and I also use double thread. Double thread makes my hair tracks the last longer and not easily just come apart and double Westing. It is gon na make your hair much fuller, much quicker. So here I am going to show you how I basically sew it down, I'm just taking the really basic method of the same way. You were so a wig, I'm just going row by row, putting the needle through the hair and I'm going to wrap the thread once around the needle and pour so I'm going to show you a couple times before I speed it up. Once again, I am just going to poke the needle through pull it through halfway, take the thread and wrap the thread around the base of the needle. This is just basically forming a knot, every time, you're going through each track and that just really secures the hair and keeps the hair more in place. So, as you see here, I'm just going to speed it up for you, I'm just going to repeat the process. All the way through the hair, so once I'm getting to the end of my row, I'm going to put the needle right through the weft and I am going to take the thread and wrap it around the base of the needle like we've been doing previously. But instead of wrapping it once I wrap the thread around twice just to make sure it's extra secure and then I just pull it through so here I'm just updating you guys on what my hair looks like so far. Now, before I finish the front side, I was going to go ahead and just start on the back. I'M gon na do a little bit of tracks in the back side as well, just to add more fullness to the hair. On the back side, I'm only adding about three to four rows, so I'm just gon na do the exact same process that I'm doing on the front, but just on the back instead and here's what your backside should look like once this completes, and then I'm just Going to go ahead and finish up the Front's continuing doing row to row and just fill it up all the way to the top so once we're complete with the actual ponytail extension, we're going to add hair also onto this little piece right here and that's just What'S going to cover up the tracks once you have your ponytail installed, so this is what your hair should look like once it's complete, believe it or not. This is definitely about two bundles that I've used to create this ponytail extension, the more hair, the full of your ponytail will be and the more your hair will easily blend with the ponytail extension. I really hope this video was helpful to you guys, don't forget to watch part two to see how I installed this gorgeous points on hair extension, and thank you guys all so much for watching.

Patricia D R Jacques: You can buy the actually mold ready to sew in the hair on AliExpress this way is more clean and there’s no synthetic hair at all, I’ve got one and just needed a video to make sure I would be doing it right, thank you !!!

fruitcake: Your video is a game changer!! I bought a synthetic ponytail from amazon for 6 bucks, used a seam ripper to take the synthetic wefts off of the lace completely, and then sewed some old human hair wefts onto it and its perfect thank you!!

Rika Adorn: Reasons why you should make your own Ponytail extension... 1. Its not SYNTHETIC.. yes, they are a cheap at the beauty supply store, but they don't last long.  2.You decide the thickness of your ponytail extension.. from texture, thickness, and even color 3. It looks more natural... I mean, it is human hair you know! 4. Once made, its quick and easy, unlike the method where I see people wrapping tracks and wigs around their ponytail.. lol yikes I can go ON and ONNN but you guys get the point! Try it out (:

Ladi Miz: Great video! I was trying to figure out how to make my own so this was very helpful.

Ooh Gabby Giggles: This was super helpful. Honestly this is probably the best method i've seen. I would have never thought of this.

F: You really know what you're doing. Amazing how to video!

Michaela: Thanks! I plan on doing this with a sewing machine and kinky curly hair. I'm glad i saw it bc i was like "what should I use for the hair net part?"

Tina Ellen: This is the - BEST video, I've ever seen regarding this! Thank you! #perfection

JoAnna Laboy: Great video but I have a quick question... I couldn’t tell from the video if you cut each track and sewed them individually, or if you just folded it over & move up & continued sewing. Thanks in advance for your reply

lovejesus12012: Could you use glue instead of sewing?

y: You deserve WAYYY More subs

The Mama Green: I'M TRYING THIS TOMORROW

SweetKoneko: I just use hair glue and layer weave tracks on ribbon. My hair is coarse and poofy because I dont want to use heat so I dont want any of it to show out the bottom. This way the ponytail is full but not fake looking and easy to put on and take off.

C Richberg: you go girl

Denise297_mystery and meaning: Im going do this

Sphe_ Ndlovu_: Link to part 2?

Sandra Casas: This is too much work!

camila: God bless u queen

Karla Littke: So you got a cheap synthetic & replaced with real hair, right?? I'm having to watch with my volume down at work. LOL

Rika Adorn: I have to fix my thumbnail guysss, give me one second to fix it before uploading part two
