Get Ready With Me | Extra Long Ponytail With Bundles

Hey everyone welcome back, it's your girl, tasha and i'm back with another video. So today i'm going to be doing a long ponytail, i'm going to be adding some hair in my hair in my head. I haven't done this before this is my first time. The only reason why i don't do this so often because my skin is super sensitive. So if i leave here, that's not mine in my head for a long time it gets really irritated. So this ponytail i'm actually going to just leave in for a couple days, but i'll most likely take it out and then put it back in. So let me just get straight to it, because i don't even have that much time before i took it down. I wanted to just touch up these parts because when i'm in the shower it just gets really um the water gets on it, and then it just gets like that. I'M trying to avoid putting too much heat on my hair, but i can't really avoid that. For this type ponytail, i really hope it turns out good, because i really ain't got time. If it doesn't, i'm gon na try and make this simple as possible, and i don't want to do it too tight, because if you do it too tight, you can get a headache and we don't want it guys. I'M just nervous because i haven't done a ponytail and i always see them and i'm just so super bored in my hair, and i just want to do something different, don't mind my stuff in my bag back, it's pretty yes, but so i'm just gon na part. So i'm just looking at my mirror here too, just to make sure let me use the back of this comb. I thought i wanted to do a side part, but now i feel like i want to do a middle part. Let'S see if i like the middle, i should go back to my original idea to decide. That'S what i really wanted to do so in high school. I used to do this part so much and then i got bald right here and then i had to switch it to the other side, but this has always been the side that i like to do my part on oh gosh, i just ruined it. Okay, yeah you're gon na need, like a comb, you're gon na need um stuff to slick your hair back. I like to do my edges, so edge control and brushes you'll just see what i use as i go just comb it down a bit. You don't regularly want to use a comb like this in your hair, but because my hair is already straight, it's okay and when i straighten my hair it gets really straight. I hope i don't want this in the middle when i'm done, but i think the side is where i want it to be, but i think i want it to be more of a more like a curve here. You know, let's see, i kind of want a swoop yeah, so buddy. Let me show you the hair that i got. I just bought this natural dream. It was on sale and because i don't plan on leaving this in for a long time, i decided to get it. It'S 36 inches really long, but i said i would cut it if i needed to, and i got two packs just in case. I realized i need two, it shouldn't be hard like doing this stuff guys. It'S pretty straightforward. Look at me saying this, but it just turned out bad got some bobby pins, so i'm gon na need it to pin the hair on my ponytail hair tie, but i'm always losing my hair ties never fails. So let me just brush out my hair. This brush is just not for me, but i prefer the flat detangler one. It'S just better. This just hurts my scalp see not everything is for everybody, so you got ta. Do what works for you, so i'm taking a good amount of gel you. I want to take as much just to keep it very slick down. I just do this for any ponytail. I put my actual hair in ponytails all the time, and this is how i do it, i'm just getting it as flat as i can right now before. I put the tail in there or the hairband see. Sometimes i get like a little bulge of hair there and that's why i wanted to put it in the middle, but hopefully i can get it down today, i'm just putting enough because i don't like flyaways. You definitely want to take time on this if you plan on keeping your ponytail in for a longer period of time, but because i know i'm probably going to take this out in two days. I wish i could nobody wants to take out their hair. So soon i'm gon na have to try my best to be able to do that, but in order for me to even keep it in for two days maximum three, if i really have to i'm not going to do this too tight, i really can't i'm just Gon na use my comb and just try to just comb the hair into my hand and, like all these little flyaways, i'm gon na fix it later anyways. It'S really this part of. Like all of this part of my head, i want to make sure i slick down. First, i have the weirdest shape, hey guys, i should have took out the rubber band, and i didn't just get this rubber band out. If it's not proper, i will fix it, but it's good for now. It feels flat down on my head, i'm just gon na take my brush and just put that down. I want it like right there, so this part you want to be careful, because this is when it can just get out of place, just want to make sure it stays. I think i want to take it to the last time. Then i'm gon na be annoyed. I'M always scared of getting a hit, a headache like that, because i remember back in like 2010, i got really bad severe headache and i was hospitalized for about two months and for the longest time they didn't know what it was why i was having these headaches And it just came down to it where they're just saying i'm stressed and i'm like how do really mean i'm stressed or like i'm unconsciously thinking about something you know so even ever since then, i've always tend to just try to relax in certain situations, and when I have my hair in these hairstyles, i'm always afraid of getting a headache, because during that time i couldn't even have the light on. I had to just be in a room with only darkness. I was in the hospital during my birthday. I remember, and i was just wondering when this headache was gon na go away. So when i say don't do your hair to get a headache. I know what a long headache feels like and i always do my best just to avoid those situations like this. Probably could be a little bit tighter, but that's as much as we're going to go so now i just want to get the hair in and then i'll fix the rest of my head yeah. 32. This is a bit long and the ends are more brown, but i made sure i got the top part darker. So this is the hair really long, but i know i'm gon na most likely be cutting this but yeah. I just want to show you guys that now i'm just going to do a braid, oh my gosh, i need a little elastic to hold the braid at the end, so we forgot about that. I'M just going to put a little bit of gel on my hand. You could probably use some hairspray, but i just want to have the the ponytail just not have straight away, even though you're not going to see it, i'm just being extra, but you just want to hold it. I mean braid, it all the way down. Three strand braid like what i'm doing here, one two, three, just straightforward braid, you guys, if you need me to do a braid tutorial, let me know i have a cornrow tutorial. I did my hair in two cornrows. I don't know if that shows how to do. Braids, but if you don't have this step - and you want me to show you just let me know in the comments and i will show y'all how to braid it's going to braid all the way down and then, when i'm finished, i'm just going to secure it With some elastics normally i'll use one, because i want to make sure this stays in i'm gon na use two if y'all hear anything it's just outside of my window open, i was gon na, have my fandom, but i'm like i don't wan na hear the muffle Sound if anything, so i just have the window open because it can get really hot up in here. It'S getting hot in here, don't mind me, okay, you guys. I really don't know what i'm doing here. I really hope it works this i mean for me. It'S okay, i'm gon na be looking at my hair, so tough anyways, oh, they secured it so good like i don't even have scissors what. Why did it do that? Okay? So this is what the hair looks like. Should i double it? I think i should double it because if i just do it singly, that's just very thin for me, i'm just gon na secure this, oh no! I have to secure it on the end of the braid yeah, so i'm just gon na go at the bottom of the braid here. What we're going to do is we're going to go around and around and around to get to the top, but i don't really want to start at the bottom of my braid, because then i feel i'm going to go close to the bottom. I'M going to go like right here, because the hair is already long and i feel like it's to give it length. I don't know, don't get at me if that if that's wrong, oh, this is hotter than a well it's harder than i thought. Okay, so i'm just going to take the pin and i'm gon na put it through the hair, i'm just gon na secure it to the bottom of my braid. It should be fine, i'm gon na add two. There we go adding two should work. I should have took these out first, take these out first before you do, because i'm gon na wrap the hair and add the pins. So i already put one - and now i put two just to make sure that it's on there and now i'm just gon na - do a few wraps and then i will add more pins as i go. So i'm just gon na be looking over here, because i have a mirror here. I just want to make sure so i did about, i want to say two wraps, but because i didn't secure it, how i wanted to at the bottom, i'm gon na add another pin here. So i'm just gon na add pins as i go i'll. Try and speed up this part a little bit for you guys. So so you just want to wrap around the the braid a couple times and then you want to add a pin in your in between you want to catch here underneath the the track, and you want to go through the track into the braid, like the top Of the track part after you've, wrapped it around a couple times just to secure it, so i'm just going to speed this part through until i get to the top okay guys. So that's one pack of hair and i'm just gon na add the second pack. It'S looking all right so far, i just better have enough hair okay, so i'm just gon na secure this in again, he's almost done. It'S looking all right, okay, i'm at the top, and i want to make sure that it's secure in there, because that would be crazy. I don't want nothing to happen. It'S pretty hard to get. I'M not good with inserting bobby pins in my hair, never been okay. So i'm just going to extra secure that in it's looking all right, but i'm gon na take a piece of the hair, so i'm just wrapping the hair around the top. I'M not a professional i'm trying my hardest. When i'm done, i'm just going to use some got to be blue just to make it stay, i'm just going to use some early so that it starts the sticking process, i'm just going to spray around it. Okay, so this is the ponytail. It'S a bit long! I'M just gon na unravel a lot of this plus. I don't want it this long, so i'm gon na cut it. I like that it has like the ombre effect. It'S nice, i'm just going to finish off the look. I'M just going to take some of the mousse just to get some of that down and then on the sides i'm going to kind of form it with my comb, see it's just a little bit of wave effect going on there. I'M just going to finish up the rest of my face, okay and what i wanted to do. I wanted to add a little bit of my. I didn't finish off my brush. I didn't really do much to my eyes for my blush. This is my favorite one. It'S called brazen is it a raisin razod, i n from mac my favorite. It just sums everything up together. I want to show you guys this, because it is my favorite favorite favorite, because it's not too red. I don't like when it's too red on my face, but if i wanted a little bit more of a red look, i would add my other color on top. Do i want more red look today? I don't think so. So i just add this and it i just go over my nose as well. I just like this color on my face and then i also wanted to take some of my fenty beauty. I can't use too much of this stuff because it's very strong and very bright - i just literally just tap it in there and i still dust it off and i just add a bit to my cheeks on there. I didn't add that much i can. I can see it there. A lot, i'm just gon na add some to the other side, a little bit to my moles there, just a little bit more we'll see it was a lot. It was a lot. Oh, my gosh, i'm just going to take my sponge and blend that back out. I told you this stuff. It goes on hectic.
