No Hair Tie? No Problem! How To Easily Tie Up Your Braids Without A Hair Tie! Plus New Edge Control

Oh, my gosh, i'm so oily. What'S up guys welcome back to my channel or if it's your first time, who's, sending me money or if it's your first time welcome in general, my name is reese and today, as you can tell by the title, i'm going to be showing you guys how you Can tie up your braids um without a hair tie for years, like back in the day, i used to try and use a hair tie, but it was just so difficult getting all this long, thick hair up. So today, i'm going to show you guys what i have been doing for a long time, which is a real, quick and easy way to get your braids up and also i just wanted to show you guys. My edges, because i tried a new product and i've had it in all day, so they are still super super laid and yeah. Let me tell you this edge. Control is the truth. Let me get the package, so the edge control comes in this cute little blue packaging and the company is called envision. Beauty, they're kind enough to send me this, so i could try it out and y'all. I don't know if you can tell, but i'm so oily and that, like it's hot outside, but the edges are still late, like it's literally like 91 degrees. This is what the product looks like. Okay and it is, it says, for the directions. It says clean. The desired area before applying the product apply a small amount to the edges, and comb hair into place do not mix with oil based products and the ingredients are water. I don't know what the hell that is: castor oil, glycerin, beeswax, dime, sicone and apple fragrance. So these are the ingredients it holds really well and i'm not just saying that, like it's very comparable to the style factor, but um the style factor edge. Booster. If you know it turns your edges white like if i use the style factor, i have to use it with gel as well. Otherwise my edges will turn white with this. I only use this and the hold is like very, very similar, so i really like this product yeah. Their instagram is envision. Beauty underscore one and their facebook is envision beauty one. So cute, thank you so anyway that was a long-ass intro, so i'm gon na get into boop how to tie your hair up so don't mind my hair, i just washed it. So it might look a little frizzy, but it's really simple. Are you gon na do? Is decide how you want your hair, so i'm just gon na put mine back up into a bun, but the key to doing this is literally just one thing and that's finding some braids that are in the middle, so i'm probably going to use like. Maybe these two braids, as my hair tie okay, so that's the key is just finding two braids in the middle. Then i'm gon na just flip my hair. I usually do this with my head upside down, but i'm gon na try and show you guys did i just lose the braids okay, so yeah. Normally i just flip my hair upside down gather your hair into whatever style. You'Re doing mine is just about to be a bun, so it's the same thing you would do if you're using a hair tie just gather everything together then for my buns i like to just twist so twist and make it tight, and then i just keep twisting And wrap twisting and wrap. Then i take these two braids wrap it around: pull wrap it around and i'm gon na tuck. These ends under now wrap it around pull, wrap it around pull and that's it simple: it's not going anywhere. It looks a little crazy because i don't have my mirror, but y'all get the gist right there. You have it and then also sometimes i'll just show you one other way. If i'm doing a ponytail, because like with the bun, the two pieces can kind of sit under the bun but with a ponytail there's nothing for it to really sit under for the ponytail i'll. Do the same thing, and then let me get my little two braids up out of here and i do two instead of one just because you know for security, so for the ponytail. What i'll do is just take the two braids and wrap it around wrap it around right then i'll take the end and tuck it underneath those same two braids, so i'm tucking the braids into themselves, so wrap and tuck through and then pull it tight then wrap Again and yeah again, i'm not in a mirror, so it's not perfect, but then yeah you just wrap, then tuck under okay pull it tight wrap and you can do that as many times as you want. Probably don't be caring, so i'm just going to tuck this little piece into the base of the ponytail somewhere and i've never worn my hair in a ponytail with these braids, but that's what you will do and it will well. Actually, i do wear my hair in a ponytail when i exercise, but okay, you see it's still secure all right, you guys, so that's going to conclude this video.
