How To: High Afro Puff Drawstring Ponytail On 4C Natural Hair| Siya Mbungu

Hello, everybody welcome to my channel, so today's video is all about this afro puff hairstyle, let's get straight into it, so I am going to begin by spraying my hair with some water to make it more manageable and then I'm going to apply some Jamaican black, castor Oil to slick down my hair, I'm going to apply the olive oil eco styler gel right now I am brushing my hair. I, like my puffs, very high, so that is the direction in which I am brushing the hair and then using an elastic band. I am going to tie my hair up. I am using an old toothbrush and the same ecostyler gel to lay my edges. If you know of any edge control gels that have great hold, please do recommend down below. I would really appreciate it right now. I'M going to put on a Duke and go off camera to do my makeup and I'll be right back, so I am back. Hopefully everything is laid underneath the stick, I'm going to take it off and then we are going to put on the pallet. This is the upper puff because it has two clips right. I like to put one right here in front and one at the back and then I just pull the string and make it as tight as I want it, but not too tight like tight to the extent that it gives you a headache but tight enough. Like I want to feel that it's not gon na move, it's not going anyway. If the wind blows it's like Harris day, and then this, if you just tuck it in a pop back or you can just move around like that, but I'm just gon na tuck. It in the back, because that's what I always do when that is done, you have new afro-pop okay.
