Sleek Extended Ponytail With Extension (On Natural Hair)

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel and today, i'm going to show you how i achieved a high sleep, ponytail um, so firstly, i'm just going to tie my hair up in like a rough bun. Just so i can like mold my hair to where i want it to be um i've already like blow-dried and washed my hair, but the only thing i don't do is straighten it just because my hair does get pretty straight after blow drying so to slick. My hair, i use gummy and i either use the red one or the purple one or the blue one, and i use the gel and the actual like wax as well, and this is what they look like inside. So i use the wax, which is a harder one, just to like mold everything together and then i use the gel on top just to like lay it nice and flat. And so i'm just using the wax and just applying it evenly throughout my hair. And then i'm going to use a really hard slip brush just to like get the gel into all parts of the hair. Just so it's nice and smooth, and even and i'm literally just going to do this all the way around my head. I might also use a toothbrush just to get into like the little gaps at the front of my hair. I hate when this gap, so i just like smooth it out. So it's just all nice and slick, and then i also like section off my baby hairs. Just so they're, not in the way for when i want to slick them later, so now that it's done, i've taken out the hair band and i'm actually gon na, like tie my hair properly this time, um just with like a normal hairband and i'm just gon Na tie it like really really tight so now that it's tied i'm going to just plait the ends of my hair, all the way to the end, just so that it doesn't come out and now, it's time to add the bundle. Um and people do this. In so many different ways - and i actually used to sew it in every single time, but it was just so hard to take out because ponytails for me are such a temporary hairstyle. But i use the elastic band method. So literally, you just loop a tiny bit of the weft into the elastic band and then just tie that elastic band onto the end of your ponytail on your raw hair. And it's like a bit of practice. But it is super super easy to do and then once you've secured the end. You literally just wrap the weft around like the plait until it's completely finished so once i've finished wrapping the bundle around the plait, i'm just going to take the end of the weft and that a really small piece of hair and use that to wrap it around. The hair band - and i always make sure that i comb or brush this small piece of hair, just so it's nice and smooth and then i use, got to be spray just to like mold it and wrap it around um, and it's super super easy. You just need to take your time just so it looks nice and neat so once that is nicely wrapped, i'm gon na just spray got to be again all over and then blow dry it just so. It'S nicely secure, um and then i'm gon na move on to my edges. So now that my edges are now laid, i'm gon na use my remington white plate straighteners and i'm gon na just section the ponytail, like into small sections and just straighten it. So this step is very, very optional, but i just felt like the top of my ponytail wasn't aligning properly. It was just really like spread out, and so i just got a bit of got to be spray on my hand and just molded it um at the top of the ponytail, and that is pretty much it for the video guys um.
