How To: Sleek Ponytail On 4C Natural Hair |Beginner Friendly |South African Youtuber

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. This is your girl in a cast so on today's video, i'm going to be showing you how i do my low bun on a 4c hair. So we need some water before anything else and also we're going to need a gel whatever that works for you perfect and i'm also going to be using both those oils to moisturize. My hair and another thing that we're going to need is our hair, brushes or combs, or anything that will work for you and we're gon na need the hair ties or elastic bands to tie our hair. We'Re also gon na need uh the bobby pins to keep our hair secured and safe. So i'm working in section because it's easier that way, i'm just gon na start by the back side of my hair and then come to the front. So i'm detangling my hair. It makes it easier to brush it off when i apply the gel and then i'm going in with some water to make the hair moist so make sure that you don't um put too much water because it will take long to dry. So a little bit of water, then you are good to go and then you make sure that your hair is detangled and then you can then start applying your gel, whatever gel that you like, and whatever gel that works for you, then you can use that. So whenever you feel like you have applied enough, you can then go ahead with your hair tie to separate the hair that you've already gelled to the hair that you're still going to be working on. Thank you so, coming towards the front, i've decided to make a center part. So now it's time for me to just make that part, and then i can be able to lay the hair down, however way that needs to be laid. So it all depends on you if you want the center part or if you like side part or if you don't like any part at all, you can just do whatever you like. Just give it your own twist and then just continue to lay the hair down. So i'm just making sure that my part is very straight. I know i'm i'm not that good with um like a parting, but i felt like this was straight enough for me and i liked that. So that's what i continued with and then i just continued to just spritz my hair with water. So now that the hair is slicked down, you can then go on to do your edges, your baby hairs, if you like that, and if you don't like that, then you can just skip that part. I did a little bit not too much just a little bit on the front to make sure that the hair is slick down there and then yeah. That was just about it. So now that i'm happy with how my hair is looking, i just went on ahead to tie my hair down with my head scarf to make sure that every single strand is laid, and also it's sleek enough. Just make sure you don't tie your head wrap too tight, because that might cause the headache for you. So just be careful with that and then yeah. You just have to wait for a few more minutes for your hair to dry and then you are good to go hey guys. So while i was waiting for my hair to dry out, i went off to do my makeup and now i'm back so i'm gon na be using that hairpiece to make my ponytail. So what you need to do with your hair pieces just to tie it in the middle that way, it's easy for your, your bun or your ponytail to last for it to be strong enough on your head, so i'm just untying my head wrap, so i can Do my ponytail look at that? It was not completely dry, but it was dry enough. So i like that, and now we're just gon na be adding the ponytail at the back. So now, you're, just gon na tie your your hair band on your uh, your bun. Your natural bun and make sure that your ponytail is safely secured and it's sitting properly, where you want it to sit and also you're gon na need those bobby pins to help you secure your bun, so it doesn't move you don't have to worry about it. Falling off our face somewhere so yeah, that's what you're gon na need and also i just took a few strands of hair just to tie around my hair and making sure that it's secure enough and also just to cover up all the imperfections around my bun look At that it's so secured and safe, you can move. However, you like you, are good to go, so i'm just going in with my gel to just lay a little bit of my edges at the side like on the side of my ear and make sure that everything is nicely laid and all that i'm now going In with the got to be glued blasting free spray to get rid of all the fly aways and to make sure that my hair is sleek enough and it gives more tightness and more dryness to the hair as well. Not a lot of that. Just a little bit of that, you are good to go. I like how my hair looks now and all the flyaways are gone. Look at that, it's all looking so nice!
