Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, tenessa aka, tennessa, love love, my taguan everybody. If you're new to my channel, please please like and subscribe and turn the notification bell on, because your girl got good stuff coming and you don't want to miss it. I'Ve been sitting on this video for a long time. I mean like nine months long right, anyways, no excuses. I got it for you guys. It seems that a lot of people on instagram really liked this look so in this video, i'm gon na show you guys how i use a drawstring, kinky curly ponytail, to just make my style pop. So if you'd like to see that - and you know achieve that style see you guys in the video so for this style, i parted the front of my hair into five triangular parts. Um. To add to the you know, the look and then i added my edge control on each section to make sure that the edges are laid says you don't want them flying away. So i laid my edges with my edge control and then i went in with the rubber band to make sure that um when i did end up twisting the hair it didn't unravel from my twist and then i did that for all five of the sections in The front of my head, so i go in and just twist um the leave out that i have and then twist both sides left side and right side and then that is what's going to go into the ponytail at the top. So i went in and wet up my hair again because it had gotten partly dried, or so it looked um and you don't want to comb at least for type 4. Here you want to comb your hair when it's dry, because it might be painful. There might be knots that you can't clear out so it's easier to wet up your hair just a bit before you try to manipulate or style it, and then i put everything up in a high ponytail and then i twisted my hair into a bun when twisting Or plaiting the end of your hair make sure that it's tight enough to be secure when the ponytail goes on it. So the ponytail comes with a string and with that string, it's adjustable and it's how you get to tighten the ponytail around any size. Bun that you have so on the string, there's the little clasp right there and if you press that down and push it towards the mesh area, that's how you tighten the ponytail around your bun and then it can go quite small or as big as your bun Is i got this ponytail from aliexpress? I don't remember what the name of the supplier was, but aliexpress is where i get most of my extensions in putting the ponytail over your bun, you can secure the top clip first or the bottom one, whichever one so. Firstly, you secure the clips and then you find the string and tighten the string around your bun as tight as possible, so it is as secure as possible. We don't want when the wind blows your ponytail fly off. You know, that's a bit. Embarrassing says you don't want that, so tighten it as tight as possible, squeeze it onto that bun to make sure that it's not moving and then to cover the track on the top. You just take a section of the hair um and wrap it around to cover the tracks, that's showing. At the same time, you can also put the string into that, so you can wrap the string around the hair, that's covering the track as well. So the string isn't just hanging in the back and then you take a bobbin, pin and secure it. I mean, since you don't want it to be showing use as many bobbin pins as you need. I swear there was like 10 or 12 in my hair. I didn't show you guys that, but there's a lot of bobbin pins in there holding everything together, a trick that i learned after recording this video is um. If you don't want the string to show like it's showing a bit in mine here, the hair that you use to wrap and cover the tracks, you can start to top the string under that. So you don't see it at all and then you know to spice up the style to complete the look. You just add some accessories. My go-to accessories are the little gold clips. They go with all my styles, so you always see me using them. Add some clips to pop it and there you go. Thank you guys for watching my video. I know it was late. It'S still calm, not better than nothing anyways. Let me know what you guys thought of the video. Let me know if you haven't tried to draw some ponytail before you know. Let me know: what's up chat with me, thanks for watching, don't forget to subscribe, bye,
