Hey guys welcome back to Tracy's place. I am here with a hair tutorial. A subscriber friend asked me to do a tutorial. Oh my! I guess you call it a lo big bun, because this is a large size, bun, it's an afro, bun or basically a drawstring ponytail, but I leave it fluffy and the you subscriber friend was fit to be just me. Thank you. So much for reaching out to me for the requests, so I'm going to go ahead and get started alright, as you can see we're back at the beginning, I do not have to puff on so what we are going to do. I'M going to tell you about the specs of this drawstring ponytail first, this is the L tray timeless. You see, which angle would be best. It'S the out rate timeless and it is in a number two, as you can see. Hopefully, you can see that so number two and that's the color and it's called afro large, and I can't remember if I got this from Sam's Beauty or back when sister weeks was, you know, still selling. But I get my wigs and ponytails and different things online. For the most part, some of them I get in store just a few, but most of them online. All I do is look at other people's for the most part, look at other people's reviews of different wigs or ponytails and see if they may look good on my face and if I like the style I'll, go ahead and order it and you know style it Up figure out a way to wear: wouldn't you know when it gets there? You always have to do a little fixing to it, but I'm not much and I used to go to the wig store and when I was doing my protective styling and just try on wigs and nothing would look right. Nothing would look right, but the thing was, I didn't know how to style them. So that was the problem anyway fast forward. Now I buy them all, basically online, all right. So, as you see I have on my bandana here, my edges are already laid and I will link the video below on how to do your edges. Let me show you what I use now. Okay, most clear gels will do they're, probably brown. Just too, though, I've never tried the brown gel with this two-step method. This is clear ice, that's what I use sometimes, but now I've gotten this extreme wet line extreme. I like that to my daughter, hooked me onto that. So this was running out, so I'm going to finish, of course, using this before I use them, but I dabbled in that and the Murrays edge wax that's really good too, but you can use the combination, of course, that I put down in the video that's linked Below I use both both work really well, okay, guys and for this style, some people may be using their own natural hair, eyewear puffs as a protective style, because I'm growing out my hair, my hair, is a small puff. My real natural hair is like a small puff. This is a large one, of course, and my real hair is like a ball a ball and I, like bigger kind of more, I won't say, dramatic, hairstyles, but something a little bit more larger little little things. Don'T look really good on him on me to me, so I like to you, know, get other styles and play around with them, and all I did was put my hair in two strand twists. That'S how I mostly wear my hair when it's in protective styling mode up under wigs or whatever it's a two strand twist style, and I just have it under this wig cap. Hopefully, you can see that this is just a a wig cap that you get from the wig store. You put it on. Of course, it's not covering the edges. It'S basically covering right here right around here and since it stretches to fit big or small, it doesn't move. You know it doesn't move. So it's fine to fit just like that. It goes right around here. So I'll put that on first, I do my edges and then I put the wig cap on one and I put the wig cap right over the top of where my edges stop like that, and you can either put the bandana on first like this and all I did was you just fold the bandanna up, lengthwise and let me see if I can show you this is one and you take the corners. You basically fold it in half in a triangle and then you fold it in half again and you keep folding until it gets to this kind of like in the center. And then you make one final fold and you'll have a little square like that. And you just fold that back anyway, that's about the length you want your bandana, it's just a triangle length I'll fold it up and you can either put it like this, but I'd like to put it like this cuz. I like these two little rabbit ears right here: okay, so after you get that secured, what you're gon na do is take your puff. Now I do not stretch it. You know real wide or anything. It can stretch really really wide, but I don't want it like. A big afro all across my hand, so I just want it. Basically, you know like it comes kind of draw it up a little bit kind of draw it up a little bit, and this is the little circle here for the opening, and I just and you can use these combs if you want. I do not because combs tend to pull at your hair and can pull out your hair, so I don't use combs too often I use bobby pins anyway. What you want to do is put you just want to sit it. However, you want it the height that you want it, I'm trying to see in the mirror behind this okay, so you can position it. You can put it up forward like this or back. I like mine's back like this, and you just kind of you know position it. As you saw in the little round circle, you know where you can stretch it it. It is a mesh cap. Basically, so these bobby pants can go right through and I'm gon na kind of open up. All I do is kind of go down to where the mesh is. I don't go through. I don't like, of course, bobby pin throughout the hair. I find the mesh and I take the bobby pin and I go through the mesh and the stocking cap and to my hair. So I secure us to my hair and you just do that. All the way, through I put about five bobby pins in the mesh of the ponytail, you want to put it high-low all around so that it stays. We don't want. No oops and you just place them all around itself. They'Re gon na need one over here and you can feel where the thickness of the mesh is, and you want a bobby pin it there. I wish I could put the camera all in here and show you, but you're kind of once you get the feeling in it and stuff you'll see what I mean also, that goes sometimes through the hair, because the little circle of mesh stops about like here. I want mine secure all the way around this, so I'll put it in the hair also and then up under here, you just fluff it back out so that the bobby pins cannot be seen and they're black. I don't know if some people may want to blondish or a real light brown ponytail or whatever. So you want to get lighter bobby pins, but you just go ahead and go through the get down to the base of the hair at the mesh. Like I keep saying and just bobby pin it through the stocking cap and onto your hair, so that doesn't hurt because the combs that's on the wig or ponytail whatever can grab and hurt. This is very comfortable because it's just right in place. It'S not digging in my scalp or anything, and there you go. That'S how you do the little afro puff and, like I said you can get these online. You can probably get them, I'm sure at your local Beauty Supply. I was in a beauty, supply store the other day, kidding um, Oh, what was like getting like a nightcap, and I saw they had different puffs and different, wigs and stuff like that. The wigs just tend to be more expensive in the store to me and you can get a good clearance or a good sale on a wig online Sam's Beauty, evany line glamour glamour dress, I think, is called or diva dress. There'S different. You know hair companies weight companies online and I love them alone, because it's very convenient for me doing my protective styling, alright guys. So that's it simple easy. If you have any questions or comments, please drop them in the comment section down below and yeah. The style is very easy, very, very convenient, very convenient and you can style your hair like that. Alright, so have a blessed day, and I will see you guys right back here on Traci's place, bye, you
