I found this drawstring ponytail for kinky hair at my local beauty supply store and I LOVE IT! It's great for many reasons, including that it keeps your ends protected and it adds volume to your fros, puffs, and buns. My husband didn't even know I was wearing a drawstring LOL.

Hello, ladies and gents, this is the brilliant beauty, I'm showing you how to add volume to your natural hair using a drawstring ponytail. Basically, all I do is I'm going to attach the ponytail in the middle of my head, so you're going to see me part my hair, to expose the middle working where I can attach the ponytail, and this just gives it a more natural look. I don't like when the ponytails are still prominent in the middle of your head. Using this method, it kind of blends in seamlessly I'm using this afro ponytail for my beauty supply store that I got for $ 8.99. It doesn't really have a curl pattern. It has some clips on both sides and a drawstring. So that's what I'm going to attach to that middle ponytail for the first style, you can use a headband to achieve just a very simple puff now, the second style. If you want like a higher ponytail like style, you can just use a knee-high stocking, and this is how I do my hair puffs on my high puffs on my natural hair. So I'm just going to pull the stocking and tie it in the back just to have that afro puff ponytail looks - and this is later in the day my hair is very fuzzy from not taking care of it all day but um. I thought this style was my favorite. I like it better this way, so I'm just going to pin some of the hair back just to look like I put my natural hair in a bun and I had lots of it. So this is the last style, and this is what it looks like when I just you know, put some gel on my edges.
