4B/4C Afro To Sleek Ponytail *No Heat* | Cheymuv

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is shannon. Today, i'm coming at you with my hair, looking all types of crazy, because i'm trying something different, as you guys know, i have 4b 4c natural hair and it's normally in braids or in a puff or like a regular natural hairstyle. But today i wanted to try something different. I want to give myself a sleek, um ponytail and see what other hairstyles i can come up with with these extensions and if you guys, are interested in seeing that keep on watching and remember to subscribe and like this video, because it helps me out a lot. I don't know if i've mentioned this, but they are clipping extensions that looks like that and then you have the one with two and i think i'm gon na be using these for my ponytail. So i'm just going to gather all of the ones that have two clips and begin. The first thing i'm going to be using some any type of shea butter based product just so that i can have a bit of shine to my hair. My got to be glued to slick down my hair. You can basically use any type of gel or glue that you want an edges brush and then you're also going to need some sort of spray bottle to spray. Your hair, i'm going to start by putting all of my hair, brushing all of my hair to the top of my head and then i'll just show you as i go guys, so i'm just gon na. So i'm just gon na put my hair in this like fake puff just so that i can start with the process of laying all of my sides flat, so i'm just gon na spray it with some water, i'm just gon na get my shea butter base product. I'M using the glue for small to use butter rubbing that right, then i'm going to get the got to be glue getting like that much rubbing it like all over my hands once all my products are applied and before it dries down, i'm going to get a Brush and just start smoothing once i am done smoothing everything out - i'm quickly going to tie this down, so it remains as flat as possible. I'M going to make sure it's super tight just so that it can be as laid as possible once that is laying we can work on the top part of my hair. So, basically, the game plan is to braid this and then attach the clippings onto the braids. Now i'm going to split this in half just so that it's more, i can braid it easier and i'm going to do two braids and then i'm also going to add some random kinky braiding extensions, just to make the braids a bit longer so that the clip-ins Have something to really attach to so once these two have been braided, i'm now going to start attaching the clip ins to them and i'm going to be attaching them like at the same time, not individually. So i'm just going to show you how i do that. So i'm done clipping everything in but, as you can see at the base there is you can see that clip in right there. What i'm going to do, i'm going to get just a piece of the ponytail smooth it down and then wrap it around the base. Now i'm going to take out the silk wrap. I just want to start laying my edges and then re-tie everything i'm just going to touch up any place that i'm seeing is struggling to lay flat before i retie everything. So i'm just gon na. Let my hair completely dry flat before i remove it in the meantime, i just want to talk about the ponytail itself. Now it's giving me what i needed to give me it's giving me thickness. It'S giving me volume, there's so much more clippings that you can add to this. It'S just because i feel like for me. This is enough um! I don't really need it to be any thicker than this. Now that the hair has had some time to you know lay down, this is how it is lurking stiff, wear boo. I am super happy with it like. This is my first time doing a hairstyle like this and i'm super proud of myself, because i do feel like it came out cute. Obviously there would be ways that i would improve it. Maybe using um wax instead of a water-based gel, but i do feel like child. Is it's blended like i'm, going to go ahead and try? My second hairstyle, i feel, like i've, changed the position of the camera like 10 times, but i've pushed it just a bit up so that you can see when i am making the bun i'm starting by smoothing it out with just a regular ball bristle brush. I'M going to twist it just a bit over here and then start wrapping it flat. So this is how this hair would look in a bun i haven't put in any bobby pins, but you can, if you want to keep it more secure, but this is the second style and yeah. It'S cute. Okay, i'm going to move on to the third style, and this is going to be the most adventurous style of the three. So i really really hope it works out. So now that that has been taken out, i'm going to take down the ponytail and i'm going to split my hair in half. So i can try and do this half up half down style, i'm just going to do some very loose cornrows. On the back of my head just so i can stick the clippings on now created the back section of my head. I know these braids are like gel braids, the back section. I am going to be using more the clippings with more clips, so this can go like all the way like that and i'll be mixing it obviously, with the threes and the twos and yeah like this has five yeah. This has five and you know just going ahead and mixing those until i get the thickness and the density that i want now that i'm done with the back, i can work on this section once i'm done with this braid, i'm just gon na clip in the I'M just gon na put all the clippings in, like i did for the ponytail, so once i'm done, i'm just gon na take this out and then brush this. So that is how it looks is how it came out um. This is super new for me because i don't really want straight hair, but i think it came out cute and i feel like on the days where i want to like you know, show out. I would do a style like this.
