How To Frohawk Mohawk With Drawstring Ponytail | Natural Hair

Alright guys so to save time I am already starting with my hair, already parted in the three sections that I'm gon na use for my Mohawk and your parts don't have to be perfect. Actually, I don't like mine to be perfect because I end up trying to hide the parts in the end anyway. So now I'm just going to go in and moisturize my hair first and I'm gon na be using being Miss Jessie's, curl merengue. And it's just because that's what I used to do my twist style. But if you guys aren't interested in how I feel about this product just make sure you check out an upcoming blog post and then I'm gon na go in with some eco styler gel just to smooth my hair into a ponytail. So then, I'm just gon na put that first section into a low to medium ponytail. You don't want it all the way at the bottom of your neck, but you don't want it like sitting at the top of that section. So somewhere, you know kind of like in the middle and then I'm just gon na twist that section up and put it in a bun. But I'm not gon na show you guys, because I'm gon na go into more detail on how I do my buns in just a second. So this is the last section and I'm just taking some eco styler gel and smoothing it up into a ponytail. And then I'm gon na twist that section up and I'm gon na show you guys how I get my buns super flat for the drawstring ponytail. So what I do is I press the twist right up against my scalp to make it flat and then I go ahead and take a bobby, pin and pin that down, and then I wrap the remaining part of the twist underneath that flat surface. So this is gon na help me get my buns as flat as possible. I don't know what I was showing y'all right there, but this helps me gives my buns as flat as possible so that my drawstring ponytail is lay flat. So now I'm going in with three drawstring ponytails they're, all by equal it'll, be in the description box. But for a little bit of fun. I took my red one and it's kind of like mixed with some black and I'm gon na put that one in the very front. So what I'm doing is I'm taking the combs that come on the drawstring ponytail and just inserting the combs into the bun before I start Bobby painting down the sides and then you're just gon na take the drawstring and actually tuck it in before pinning down the Front so you didn't actually use the drawstring at all. You just use the columns as a base, so now I'm going to go in with my black ones and just what's most important about this is just making sure that you get the drawstring ponytails as flat as possible because you want it to lay down and look Like hair and not ponytails, so after I've attached the comb, all I'm gon na do is bobby, pin that down as flat as possible going down my head. So this is what it looks like with the two mixed together and I'm just going to do the same thing with the very last rushing ponytail making sure that it lays flat and then Bobby pinning it down before it's hooking the drawstring. So this is what it looks like and I absolutely love this look. It'S very quick and it's definitely a protective style that did not take a lot of time.
