Hi guys welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be showing you how i transform my hair from this to this high sleek ponytail. So i start off by parting, my hair into four different sections. I had already washed and blow dried my hair. A few days before this, but because it was really really hot humidity, done its job and a girl's hair shrunk. So, as you can see here, the middle of my hair, yeah humidity, done its job and my hair shrunk for reals. So i went in with some pure almond oil and made sure i greased up every section. I then went in with my tresemme heat protection spray and rubbed that in then i went in with my trusted revlon two in one blow dryer. I love this blow dryer because it literally dries my hair within like 20 minutes, if that so i'll leave the link of it in the description box, as you can see, i'm blow drying through the middle part of my hair, the most because i feel like this Hairstyle works better when the hair is stretched quite well and seeing the middle part of my hair was really really thick. My main focus was on that section, so i repeat the same process again in the other section, which was the almond oil, then the heat, protectant and then blow dry and repeat again on the other side. So i then went in with my straighteners and i had them 170 degrees. I also done the chasing method with a rat tail comb. This just helps straighten the hair even better. You don't have to use straighteners for this hairstyle, but i just feel like for me. It just helps you know, like slick the hair better. I was really trying to firm the heat, because i was trying to get the roots as straight as possible, so i then went in with my hot comb if you do have a pair of thin plate straighteners. This would work so much better to get the roots. I had to run the hot comb through the back again because humidity and try to get my edges and then wrap. My hair went to have a shower and then what happened humidity again, so i had to go back in again. This is a lot of heat, i'm not going to lie, but this is what i had to do to achieve. The final look anyway, now we're coming to gelling and slicking down the hair. I started off with the got to be gel the black bottle. My initial plan was to not have the ponytail so high, so it was meant to be like a mid low ponytail. So i was using the got to be on its own and using a hard bristle brush, so you need to make sure you have one of these, because this helps slicking down the hair really really well. So after battling trying to slick my hair, i then went in with the gummy wax and i used that in the back and the root, because my hair was just not trying to slick down at all. So i found that using the gummy wax helped to slick down the hair even better and keep it quite firm, but not too firm. I then went in with the blow dryer just to help dry, the gel together and then use the gummy wax more towards the front and top half of my hair. So at this point i was mixing the got to be and the gummy wax together for the inside of my hair and then on the outside. I would use the gummy wax on its own, so this is where i basically changed my mind and decided to have a higher ponytail. So i used a hair brush to help brush through the hair, so there weren't any bumps and then repeated the same process of mixing the gummy wax and forgot to be together and then use the gummy wax across the perimeter of my head. So just all the way around and then try to create some edges that i don't have. I can't do baby hairs on myself, but i could do them on everyone else. So there's that, let's pray for my edges y'all, i thought they'll grow back by the time. Lockdown eased guess not anyway, use some got to be spray and used. My hard bristle brush make sure everything is nice and flat. This spritz spray is amazing. It adds to the hold as well. I really really like it and it doesn't leave the hair rock hard. I used an elastic band just because i don't have a hair band that is as strong as an elastic band and i feel like an elastic band, just helps like secure the hair better. I then applied some more gummy to the back of my hair and the spritz and the got to be and then brush it all up. I then wrapped my hair with a head scarf to blow dry the hair. This just helps to dry everything and it's nice and firm. So here i'm just braiding my ponytail to prep it for the drawstring ponytail. I just find that it makes it a little bit easier when it comes to applying the ponytail on top, and this is the ponytail from this belt. I got the 20 inch. Obviously you will come in better condition when you purchase your own. I have just obviously worn mine quite a few times and then also put my hair into a little bun and apply the ponytail using these clips wow. They are definitely not clips, they are combs, but you slide those into your hair and then pull the drawstring. And what i like to do is wrap the drawstring around just so the ponytail is extra secure and then i use a bobby pin to hold it in place. What i like to do is take some hair from the front bit of the ponytail and wrap that round, so it just covers the top half of the ponytail and as i get towards the back, i like to pull more hair out. So it just makes the wrap around a bit a little bit more thicker and again secure it with a bobby pin, and this is the completed look. I hope you enjoyed it and i hope it was easy for you to follow. Please make sure you check out the description box, so you can get your own ponytail from miss belle and obviously don't forget to like comment share and subscribe and follow me on my socials and i'll see you in my next video bye, guys
