Wig Tutorial: Kinky Curly Yaki Hair Pt. 1

Hey bells, I'm so excited to show you how I created this wig using kinky curly yaki. I was sent the new and improved kinky blowout hair. This hair is so amazing. I received a one full bundle of the 16 inch 1/2 of the 16 inch bundle, one full bundle of the 18 inch and a lace closure. This hair mimics a foreseen natural blowout. What'S amazing about this hair is the fact that it doesn't even tangle and it takes two heatless curls easily. Now we're gon na get started with creating this wig. As you can see, I already installed my lace front. There are plenty of videos out there that show you how to install the lace front. Now, I'm going to take the longest bundle, which is the 18 inch and applied it at the bottom, because I want long layers. The construction of this weft is made perfectly. I didn't even have to steal my webs and I usually steal my webs there. This hair has no shedding whatsoever. As you can see, my dome cap is turned upside down, and the reason for this is because I want to sew one layer of hair underneath the cap. This enables me to put my hair in a ponytail, and it also makes it look more believable that this is actually my hair. I am using sewing pins in order to keep the hair in place. This one labeled me too, so a lot easier. Now I'm using weaving thread, hair, weaving thread and a curved hair, weaving needle. I go kind of underneath the wig cap, but not really. This can be a little difficult in the beginning, but once you start to get the hang of it it just you know you could so easily. Another thing I suggest is using a thimble. I didn't have a thimble this time, but a thimble will make sewing a lot easier, just in case your needle kind of gets caught a little bit in the cap. Now that that's done, I put I turn the cap over now, I'm going to pull the cap kind of tight and once again I'm going to pin it down in order to make sewing a lot easier. Now, I'm going to lift the hair for you just so. You can see you know the effect of if I want to put my hair in a ponytail, how it would look now, I'm placing the hair in this in the areas that I want to sew it down. This will help me to dictate how far apart, I sew the hairs the tracks in between each other and I'm going to pin it down and just begin to some you now that I've shown you how I sold my cat, my hair down, I'm just gon na Speed through this tutorial and I'm finally done yay as you can see, I sold it really close up to where the closure begins. I was sewing almost all night guys, but I just wanted to get it over with so now that this is completely sold down. I have a part two to this video because it was just too much to put into one, but let's just like bask in the glory of this beautiful hair, it's just so gorgeous very full and it's just it doesn't tangle at all, which is amazing right now.
