Hey y'all so welcome back to my channel, so tomorrow april 2nd is my birthday, so i decided that i would do um like a hair video using better length clippings. I love these clip-ins, so much um and just do my hair. So i re just took out my braids. I took it out all day, washed deep, conditioned blow dry, my hair and now it's time to put these clip-ins in get that nice length get a cute. Little pick look a little baddy-ish, but so i am using the better length clip-ins they come in this satin bag. Where you keep the clip-ins in here, it's um, better length, hair for black women um. I have like three sets of these um for this video. I'M using the light cat yaki about to say khaki for this video i'm using the light yaki. So it's like kind of like for a perm straightened type of look. I don't have a perm on my hair. It'S been about five years since i've gotten a perm and before i put the box braids in that i had before i just um tried to cut off all the ends that were straight and not curled up. But my hair is very like i'm trying to get this hair together, y'all, but anyway um. I have the light yaki, the kinky coarse and i forget which other one i have um. I usually get them in 16 inches. But for this video i got the 18 inches because i want a little bit of you know length but um, so they look just like this. I love this hair i washed and blow-dried it, and i also um added some color to it. Just because i have a dark brown hair and this color comes in, like kind of like a medium brown, so i did dye it um. I will link down below which die i use because for all um the clip-in sets i got. I have to dye the hair just so it looks like mine because i feel like everything comes in like a 1b or a light. Brown and my hair is a dark brown. It'S not black, but yeah. So this is the light yaki. I love this brand. So much like, even with this blow dried hair, the kinky course i'll blow dry, my hair put the clip ins and looks exactly like my hair um, but for this video i want some kind of straight straight uh hair going on. So these are the clip ins. This is the length it's 18 inches. This is just washed and blow dried. I did not straighten it yet and you can see what it looks like right here. So it comes with one large weft um about three of the smaller wefts and then, let's see now four of the smaller ones, this one's a little bit bigger than the other one. So that one and then for the in between the large and the small two of these now each um band comes with clip ins. I love this kind because it kind of goes right into your scalp, and all you have to do is clip. It never had an issue if i put my hair in a ponytail um, if i'm straightening it doing whatever to it, trying to comb it. I'Ve never had an issue where the clipping just fell right off with these, and it is double wefted, which i love about that because it just adds a little bit more hair um. I will link everything down below for what uh texture. I got what color the length um, how much, but i love better length hair. This is a great brand if you want, like kind of like the natural hair, the black women hair black woman hair, get this brand so for this video um i'll take out my hair just wash blow dried it. I had those braids in since january, y'all tried to wash and condition the hair, but you know how that goes with braids, but um. This is just conditioned washed, um and blow-dried. So for this video sorry, if my hair um looks a little lopsided, not even at all, because before i put these braids in, i was just cutting any type of left over permed hair in and trying to get these dead ends to disappear. So i definitely definitely need to go to a stylist soon, but um for this video. I'Ve done this before i'll, insert a picture or a clip of how i style my hair, before with these same clip-ins last year for my birthday. So it's been a year since i used um the light yaki better length clip-ins so anyway. So what i'm going to do? I'M going to kind of do it like as a sew-in with leave out i'm just going to part my hair up here. This is going to be my leave out right here and then everything else, i'm just going to kind of pla or kind of twist. So then i can lay my clippings on top of that and just be all the clip in here and a little bit of leave out but yeah. So all right, we'll get started on that so um i already moisturized my hair. When i was um blow drying. It and i just use the argan oil of morocco. I use this brand right here, the ogx brand, but as once, i part down which, where i want my leave out to be um i'll use the shea moisture, strengthen and restore leave-in conditioner. For let's see if i can get so now, i'm gon na kind of part where i want my leave out to be and where i'm gon na kind of um start to make like little plaits or braids for the hair that is going to be braided up. This might be a little too much but we'll see. Let me put this back whoa, this hey, i'm so used to having a perm y'all that is so weird to have this much thickness in my hair. All right, so i know i want a part down the middle, because that's just what i like um all right, let's see y'all it takes me forever to get my middle part all right. So that's good enough for me. So now i'm gon na kind of just check and see if this is how much i really want left out, because that's a lot of hair to be left out um. So i might take some and just put it back, but i do need to have enough where it's going to cover that track. I know with so ends. They leave out so little, but since i'm not um sewing them in and it's not gon na be that much secure like it is um when you use the needle and thread and then i have to make sure that i have enough leave out in the back. So let me undo this okay, i'm just going to kind of plant these up, so i don't lose them and the hair that is going to be braided up and then i'm just going to take a look at the back. I might take a little bit more from the back just so my tracks will be covered and, as always, if i leave too much out, i can always lift the track up and then put the hair. If i left too much hair out, i can put it underneath it. So that's the good thing about using clip-ins is that you don't have to have glue or you don't have to have yarn in your hair. It'S easy to just go ahead and do this all right so now, i'm just gon na separate these into sections and kind of just braid it up, but it's not gon na be nice and neat or anything it's just going to be enough, so it can lay Flat for the clip-ins to go in and i'm not even parting, it doing nothing with it. Nothing at all, so it's just gon na be something that looks exactly like this, not perfect at all. Just trying to have it down so we can can secure. It is foreign see yeah, yes, see me, okay, so i planted everything up. It'S not nice, it's not neat and it doesn't have to be i'll turn around. So you guys can kind of see like how messy it actually is. But it's all right because you know why we're putting in them clippings. So now, i'm just going to grab my carol's daughters. Y'All saw this in my amazon haul and i'm just going to oil. My scalp oil up everything because we want to keep this hair nice and hydrated y'all. So now we're going to start with the clippings and i think for the first one i'm going to use the smaller one and before i start to put it on the braids. I'M actually going to lift the braids up, and then i have some leave out in the back, where i'm gon na put that first clip and i've already washed blow dried and added a little bit of oil and leave-in conditioner to this hair, and i'm just gon Na attach that to the back here and as i go, i'm gon na straighten each piece out and, as i straighten i'm going in with my andes, um hair straightener. I got this from walmart years ago and i love it. I believe it goes up to 375 or 400 at walmart. It was about 25 dollars. I had this forever. My hair is very thin, but it's also coarse and this works so well. If i can't get it as straight as i want it, i do have my babyliss pro ceramic porcelain, ceramic straightener, that does the job well, and this goes up to 450. You can get this at the blue beauty supply store, but i believe i got this from marshalls a couple years ago as well, but all right so - and i am gon na um - straighten it with the chasing method y'all down a little bit. So you can kind of see how long the length actually is, and this oh hitting myself and this hair is very soft. Very nice texture, i love it. Okay i'll do. The other side yes is is this is, is so, mr crazy now i'm kind of at the top. If you guys can kind of see, let's see like the track, so i have two more of the smaller sized. I think i'm gon na use both just so. I can bring it this part up to here and the back be cool too, but i am almost done y'all all right, so i always like to work on this side. First, no idea why, but i'm gon na place it and make sure i like yeah. That'S good, but in the back, instead of bringing it all the way up to where my leave out is i'm going to kind of put it back a little bit, because what i noticed last time i did this is that i put like the back part of This clip so close to leave out that there was like a little bit of a hump with that, but i'm going to take this off again for just a second, because the hair that i already straightened, i don't want to mix up with the hair that i Have to straighten okay and we're going to kind of put that to the back a little all right and then i get to straighten in this and then i'm gon na um install the other side. Then i'll come back. When i do my leave out. Okay! So now i'm gon na be hitting the front of this hiya and i'm gon na see if i left too little or too much out but i'll determine that once i straighten up everything everything that you've been waiting for. I haven't straightened my hair. I don't know how long so about to see how this goes, because you know how they say like if you straighten your hair. Often your hair, like kinda, gets used to being straightened, but if you don't straighten it often, then i don't know i just don't know. I wish i had a little banana clip here. I'M gon na use one of these i'll cut, that is, it called a banana clip or one of those clips. You use. Okay, there we go all right and then i already oiled this up enough. I don't really like to put um a lot of oil in my hair just because of how oily my hair will get in just a little bit of time. Those ends baby, okay and we're just gon na. Do it in a little sections to try to get it as straight as possible, and i think i'm going to come back on to the last all right y'all. So i have the last! No! No it's too much. Okay! Sorry! I'M watching um, shit's creek, but alright. So i have the last piece here to straighten of the leave out: okay, all right and then i'm just gon na kind of comb or brush everything down, and then i will be back for the finish. Look all right y'all. So this is the finished look and i love it. I love how my hair blends in with the tracks or the clip-ins i mean all the smoke from the um flat iron whoa get you, but i love how my hair blends and i kind of bend my head down. So you guys can see and then i'll put this back and i'll turn around. Let me make sure i don't knock damn and then here is the back so yeah and then you can see the side. I love doing this. It'S so easy. The only hair you have to worry about is your leave out for real um. You can put this back into a low ponytail and be good. I love it so cute, yes, all right y'all, but thank you so much for watching. I hope you all enjoyed this. This is just something easy quick. I do once i take my braids out. Sometimes i like to um, have my hair out and i want that extra length. So yes, i love it. I'M gon na wrap it um for tonight, so everything can kind of lay down and kind of mold into each other a little bit. So i'm gon na wrap it and i'll come back in the morning, which is my birthday, have a little bit of makeup on a little bit of b. All right! So thank you so much for watching. Let me know down below if y'all have ever used the better lens clip-ins, because these i love these are a1 um haven't used any other brand at all. I love these to add extra length to my hair, even if i want to give my hair rest and braid it up, underneath to only have a little bit leave out y'all. It is the bomb alright. So i will see y'all in the morning. Bye
