Three Easy Half Up Hairstyles With Hand-Tied Hair Extensions

Hey guys, it's mackenzie, and i want to show you three different ways to wear your hair half up while wearing ibe. The first way is to have a half up style where you have a little bit of some fringe left out. This may work for you based on your hairstyle and cut it may not, but this is a super easy way to do your hair half up, but also leave a little bit of interest. You can see right here that i've left what has been cut as fringe out. I took a real easy parting with my fingers. You can section this out a little bit more specifically if you would like to with a comb, but this is how i like to do that and still reserve some stuff around my face. You can also take some hair and wrap it around your elastic. If you'd like to really finish that look okay, i just want to show you real quick that my extension row is still concealed. I only took the hair that was above the crown and put that in to this right here, voila half up style number, two, i'm going to take everything from about the temples and i'm just going to section back still staying above the crown. This is more, if you don't have any face, framing fringe. Try saying that three times fast or even once and you're, just going to take everything back and secure with a nylon elastic if y'all are still using the old-fashioned rubber bands. Where have you been nylon? Is it okay, everything's back depending on the look you're going for this is look number two. Okay, i want to show you again in the back. No extensions are seen, even though i wear one row, even if i wore three rows back here, i still wouldn't be able to see it because i am working with only the hair that is on top of my head above the crown only so the next look. I'M going to show you is probably the most requested look for how to do a half up style while wearing extensions, so this is kind of the kim k. Look that i'm going to show you now so this one you're going to section out right above your ear, this is going to be a half up. That goes all the way from ear to ear. Now here's the trick when you are doing this, you do not want to grab any of your row. So let me show you kind of some inside what i'm doing here, so you can see that i have gone up here, but instead of grabbing this corner and trying to pull that up, look what i got. I got a little flapper right here, don't want flappers! So i'm gon na, let that go, i'm not going to take any of my extension hair into my half up style. Again, i'm just going to go in front of that and you'll see exactly how i cover that up. You'Re gon na take a comb and smooth this hair over the extensions. So you can see those are completely hidden. Even if i had one two three rows, they still will be hidden and if you are super fine up here, you're going to want to take and back comb your hair on the back side, so that when you lay it over the top, everything is smooth and Goes over, you almost create a cushion, or this idea that you have more hair than what you really do. If you backcomb now, if you've done it, and you can see that you can see the top of my row right there, you have a choice right there either you can pull and set your row back a little bit further, which pulls all of this hair back. But if that's not still enough, then what you're going to need to do is come back right here and take out some of this hair so that that can fall over the top of your row. You'Ll have to play with it a little bit to just figure out what works for you. You can see right there that completely hit it. So all i needed to do was just take out a little bit of my natural hair, so it could fall over the top. My rubber band is on my wrist. Don'T do that this can be slicked, really really tight. You can use some more product if you need to to really pull from these sides now, depending on the look you're going for it can be a little bit softer or if you want to be really slicked back like some of the red carpet dudes, we see You'Re going to want to use some kind of a water hairspray combo to get those sides, nice and slick. I have lots of baby hairs, so i got ta shellack this now. I want to show you a trick. Here'S my row as you can see, i am going to do a little bit of back combing right here right just above my row, so it creates a cushion. So my hair will not split. That'S a secret if you never want your hair to split to show your rose or whatever you got in there, then you're going to want to backcomb, creates that cushion and that hair will never split for the rest of the day. You can see that covers it completely all right and there you have it. If you want, you can continue to manipulate by combing back combing again wherever you want volume. Go underneath add a few brushes like that and you're going to give yourself the lift that you need. Okay, so let me show you the back. This is extension proof boom. You can't see any rows now again if you were concerned or nervous about your hair splitting to show your extension row.
