Braided High Bun Tutorial Using Ponytail Hair Extensions

Hey guys, it's Jade and welcome to irresistible Me's youtube channel. Today'S video, I'm going to show you how to do this incredible up, do which is so simple and very, very fast. Main reason behind this tutorial is to show you guys how to do a very fast, but still very beautiful, updo in as little as five minutes with all being in that situation before, when we've been busy doing our makeup ready for a special event, we've got leather On that night I like to find out that our hairdressers cancelled and we're thinking, oh my gosh. What am I going to do so? I'M here today to show you guys exactly how to achieve this gorgeous look in very very little time. So what you're going to want to do is check your hair up into a bun with this, the Messier, the better. Not only is that gon na save you time, but it's gon na add to the finished look, so just let that I've into a little bun. So what is going to help me with this look? Is my irresistible may clip in pre natal extension? Now this one is in 20 inches long and the color is white blonde I've actually colored this myself to match my current hair color. So that is what I'm going to be using today. Now this ponytail piece actually comes with ribbons and on the back of it, it's got a little clip in here to really help secure it to your hair. So what I'm going to do first is use these ribbons to my advantage. This not only is going to save me time, that's going to make it so much more easy out when it comes to styling what I've got planned. Ok, so what you want to do is find anything that has a bar on it. I'M going to be taking my clip in ponytail using the ribbons and I'm going to tie it around this bar there's going to keep it secure while we braid it. So what I'm going to do is divide this into two sections, so divide the hair in half. Again, take a section from the outer portion of this slide place it into the center section from the outside into the center on the other side, so continue until you're about halfway down the hair and then what you want to do is secure it with a hair Elastic this next section of hair we're just going to be doing a normal braid or platts, depending on where you live funny. How there's so many different names for the same thing, but by adding two different styles, it's going to really add intrigue to your hairstyle and, again add a hair elastic okay. So we have this now and, as you can see, with the fishtail braid on one side, the normal braid on the other. Now i'm going to apply my ponytail so with this section here i'm going to dig that in in front of that bone, then i'm going to wrap the ribbon around and tie it securely at the back going to start with this braided section. So what you want to do is hold it securely at the ends and start to pull out sections. That'S why we left so much of a tail at the end. So this is what's really going to help us with our shape of our hair up and save. So much time, okay, so this is what you've got now. What I'm going to do is start to wrap this around my bun. Let me take some bobby pins and slide them into place, so once it is, don't actually open. Your bobby pins leave them closed because that's going to actually make them a lot stronger and you're not going to be losing any strength moving your body. So, with this tail section of hair, all I'm going to do is lift off a piece that I haven't, pinned down: push it into that and then pin it down over the top. It'S pretty good trick, eh! Okay! So now, with the other section again we're just going to start pulling out sections of the fishtail braid, and this has more of a marbled effect to it and he gets so so much volume. So again, I'm just going to start to place that and wrap it around. My bun go in with the bobby pins and pin it down as you go. The great thing about this is because the ponytail is already so secure. You don't need many bobby pins. It actually does a lot of the work for you, so if you're one of those people that always tends to lose bobby pins, like me, this is going to be work really well for you. So again, with this section, i'm just gon na lift up a little bit and tack it in underneath and with the bun itself you can play with it, lift it up separate any pieces that you want and just kind of go in there and get the right Kind of fullness that you want, then, if you really want to glam it up, all you need to do is add a necklace and that's really going to set it completely off. So i'm just using this legless that i got from a local store. Obviously, you don't need to use anything as colorful, but by adding that in is going to really complete the look, especially if it is for a formal occasion. Thank you guys so much for watching.
