10 Minute Glam Ponytail| Nume Magic Wand| Bellami Hair Extensions

Hi guys today's video is going to be a hair tutorial on this ponytail. Look here this literally it takes me like 10 minutes to do. It is very effortless over Christmas and New Year's. I was doing this hairstyle a ton. It'S so simple. I did use my curling wand from nume and this is the magic wand. This is a 25 millimeter barrel, they have different sizes, but this is just what I use to get this easy kind of glamorous ponytail. I, like the drugstores honestly, it's absolutely amazing the curls in my hair last several days, if I curl my hair and wake up tomorrow, um, usually I only have to do some touch-ups if I wanted to do the same style, hair so be absolutely gorgeous for Valentine's Day, birthdays like special occasion or just on days where you want to look put together and glamorous, but don't want to put a lot of effort and time into doing your hair. But if you guys want to see how I got this glamorous ponytail in under 10 minutes then keep on watching for this glamorous ponytail look. I do use my Bellamy hair extensions. I will list the exact extensions that I have in the description box below what I do is I sectioned my hair off into like four sections. I start at the base near in the middle of my ear and then I go across and section it off in a straight line. Not that important to be too precise. As long as it's semi straight and I do clip it up with a clamp here and then you'll see, I grab my extensions and I position them so that they're facing forward so that I know exactly where they go and then I flip them around you'll see So that they are backwards - and this I do whenever I wear my hair up in a ponytail and use my extensions, it is basically going to when you flip your hair up and put it in a ponytail. It'S gon na lay flat so you'll see here. I turn it around and position them this way and then put the clamps in upside down. I start in the center of the weft and then that way I have it in the position that I want and then I work it towards the outside and I just continue and do this all the way up using four different web. So you can use as many or as little as you like for thickness, but again I do have thin hair. So I use four once all of my extensions are in this is when you can either do like a braid or poof in the front, or you don't have to do any of it. This is just all up to you. I just tend to like doing the poof in the front, so I'm just creating that and then once I have that in I'm gon na put my hair up in a ponytail and you will see, I show the back of my hair. All of my extensions lay nice and flat because I positioned them in the upward, direct or backwards upward direction. So you'll see that you can't see my extensions through my normal hair. It must just really well at this point. I go ahead and turn my wand on and only does take about 20 seconds to heat up to the temperature that you want and then I'm gon na go on with I Bumble and Bumble. Thickening dry spun finished spray. This just creates a nice texture and volume in my hair and then that way my extensions kind of go from silky, smooth to kind of matching my coarse hair and have nice volume in it. And then I just take my hands and kind of separate the pieces together, making sure that everything is all nice and voluminous, but I'm gon na put on my heat protectant glove on the hand. That'S not gon na hold the curling wand. That'S gon na actually hold the hair I'm starting off by grabbing a section of my hair in the ponytail, and this is about a one-inch section here and I'm taking the barrel of my wand and pointing it downwards, and then I'm wrapping this piece of hair around The barrel of the curling wand and holding it there, I'm showing you guys in real time so that you'll know you know kind of how long this actually takes me and then I will speed it up in the end, but you'll see here I hold it for About 10 to 15 seconds and then release it and that's the type of reveal type of curl that it reveals you can hold it tighter. If you wanted tighter curls, you can hold it longer and it might hold a tighter curl as well. So, basically, for this look in order to make it look kind of effortless and kind of messy, I'm taking a different size sections of my ponytail and wrapping them around the barrel. Now I am wrapping every strand away from my face and I'm switching sides I'm starting on the right side and then I'll switch to the left side and alternating sides is what is going to make it stay, separated and not become all one. Curl and kind of look messy and effortless now you'll see that I start on the other side of my head and just curl every strand away from my face now I am grabbing different sized sections of hair again, and I will you guys just watch as I Speed through this process, it probably only takes like five minutes to do, because I don't have thick hair anyway, don't you have every piece of your hair curled I like to go in and separate it with my hands. This is going to allow it to have a nice volume and soft texture to it. I don't like when my hair becomes all one curl. If you guys know what I mean, I like it to be nice and loose and kind of messy looking and then I'm gon na go in and just touch up with whatever curls that I want. You can go in and use hairspray here if you want, but I'm just gon na go in with a little bit more of the thickening dry sponge spray for some texture and volume. I don't like to put a ton of hairspray on my extensions, but if you're using your you know natural hair, then by all means go for it. But then I do go in and backcomb just a little bit for a little bit more volume and separation, and that way it doesn't have that sticky texture and here I'm taking a section from the bottom of my ponytail and just hiding my elastic with that. So I'm wrapping that around once and I am gon na - take a bobby pin and just stick it underneath my ponytail to secure that piece of hair there. I love the look of wrapping up my ponytail holder with this, because it just lets put together and glamorous. Even though it takes two seconds and it's very effortless so then, once you have everything kind of in place and I'm going to judge up my ponytail and just volumize it, you know it's just a lot of like volumizing separating the pieces and then you have your Completed ponytail, you can see from the back. It looks super glamorous and effortless, but yeah like I said I mean it's super simple.
