9:47 - The Final Results

Hi Loves, and welcome back to another how-to with your girl The Natural Phoenix. Now I’ll admit, clip in hair is not something I use regularly. But after seeing the results of this gorgeous ponytail, I’m definitely gonna be doing more clip in hairstyles from now on.

The best part is that this style can be done without using any heat. So tune in if you wanna see how you can pull off this gorgeous style on your natural hair at home.

I’ll start off by styling my natural hair to install the clip in extensions. You’ll see how I part and section my hair to make it easier to manage. You will also get to see how I achieve a sleek look on my natural hair using water and styling gel.

After that, we’ll dive right into installing the clip in hair extensions. I’ll show the type of clip-ins I’ll be using and tell you a little bit about my method for adding it to my natural hair.

And finally, I’ll show you the final results and give you my thoughts on how I think this hairstyle turned out (Wonderful by the way!!)

Thank you again for tuning in Loves!

And remember to subscribe for new episodes every Sunday at 6pm!

Hellos, what is up welcome back to another video with your girl, the natural phoenix, so okay, i was just feeling for a nice little change. My hair is in an all right out. I don't have any gel or anything in it. This is what we have going on and we're going to be taming all of this into a nice super sleek low ponytail. So let's get started, i am going to pot my hair. I think you need to have your hair stretched at least a little bit in order to achieve this style. It will just make your life a lot easier if it is your hair stretch guys, i can't see in this little viewfinder, i'm sorry. But yes, i want to look at the camera, but i need to get my pot straight and then i'll show you guys. The rest, i think this part is given what it's supposed to go, so i'm just splitting my hair into three sections, a back section and two side sections. So this will be one section, and this will be one section. I don't really feel as though this step is absolutely necessary, but just because of how much hair i have, i don't think i will get it as flat as i want it to be. So that's the reason why i separated it into these three sections. So i'm going to work on the back section first, so i got the back section finished for this section. What i'm going to do first is brush out my baby hairs. I'M going to split this section in half spray, some water and then use my detangling brush again to just go right over the roots, i'm not trying to really wet the ends of my hair, because i don't want it to puff up too much. So i'm just detangling the root and you see that's already laying flat. So what i'm going to do is take some gel apply a little bit to the top side, as well as a little bit to the bottom side again using my detangling brush, making sure i get product in there and then that's one half of it finished. I am again going to add this to the back section again going in with the brush making sure everything is laying nice and smooth water only at the roots, then some gel see how flat this is super flat, and then i'm going to add this to the Rest of my ponytail, i'm not too worried about my edges just yet that's why i'm not putting too much product here, because i will deal with my edges in a bit now, it's just to get the hair, pretty i'm going to do the same thing for this Side of my hair, i am going to do two sections again and then work on this side. Key to this style is just to ensure that your hair has enough water and is detangled and that will literally make your hairline flat and then the gel just seals. Everything in amazing, i don't need to take out my edges for this side, because this will be coming in a soup. So no edges will be necessary, so i'm just putting the gel on now, both at the top and at the bottom, and then i'm using my tangling brush to go back in this is how we're looking so far flat, smooth and shiny, no bumps anywhere. Now, for this last section remember, this section will be kind of like a soup, so this will be coming like this way. So for that i'm going to spritz my hair, i'm taken it's a little bit lower because this will actually be showing. So you want to make sure it's smooth a little bit closer to the ends, because this is on top. Your hair is a lot more stubborn than mine. Is you might need to use a lot more gel? It'S okay! If you don't get this perfect on the first try, you could always clean that back up, which is what i will do. I just want to secure it tightly in a bun and then i'll go back in and clean up any flyaways okay. So this is what we're looking like so far. I want to just tie my hair down, so it can set in place and then i will work on the back for the back, i'm going to just hold it and using some rubber bands, i'm doubling down just so that it'll be a bit stronger. I want my way, my hair, to be out of the way, because i am going to be using clip-ins for this style, so i'm just basically giving the clippings kind of like an anchor to anchor onto with my hair. So i'm not even bothering to detangle decaffeins that i'm using are from nubia's box i'll leave all the information down below for you guys but yeah it's in the texture 4e, and this is human hair. So it should match my hair pretty well. For this i am going to use these smaller pieces, so let me just get a small, so this is the double clip. Let me just open that, so i'm just taking the clip and kind of in it just above the rubber band and then snap it in place, wrap it around insert the next clip and then pin it in place. So you guys get the idea as to what i'm going to be doing yeah, and i am basically going to be repeating that same exact step just using the clippings and wrapping them around from where i left off so opening them first and i'm using this hook. Pot to hook it into my natural here, so i'm hooking it and then i'm snapping it close wrap it around hook it in snapping it closed. This is super easy and i think it's way easier than the glue method, which is the regular weave tracks, because that way, i don't need to put any glue in my hair or anything like that, and the take down process for this is super easy, like i Could just snap it out and go to bed and then snap it right back in in the morning, and this way you don't even have to use a lot of hair, because you guys are. I only put in like about three so far and already my hair is looking really thick and for this last bit, i'm actually going to snap it just a little bit above my ponytail and just secure it by snapping it closed and then i'm going to take Just a few pieces and wrap it around the piece. Oh my gosh, it's so long! Oh watch! Let me do the reveal, i'm so excited what hi i feel like. If i need to reintroduce myself hello, how are you? What is this? What is this friend? Can you tell how much i love this? I need to give all your full view. It'S given come pick me up. Let'S go it's given. Let me know what you guys think about this hair and, if you'll be interested in seeing me do more clip-in styles, because after this style i feel like this might be a thing. So let me know what you guys think i would love to hear from you. Thank you, as always, for supporting this video and i'll see you in the next one bye, guys
