Insert Name Here (Inh Hair) 'Miya' Review

Guys welcome back to my channel, so I have a little bit of a different setup here, because this is the first time I'm filming in my new beauty room which I'm really excited about. I did recently move and I got my own Beauty room, so I'm still playing around with things I'm still playing around with the background. This is kind of what I got going on right now, I'm sure things will switch up. Also, the lighting is gon na be different for right now, because I have to play around with it to see what works the best in this room. So this is what we have right now and I'm hoping this isn't too bright, but I feel like I'm always apologizing for my lighting, but I'm sorry if the lighting is off in this video. I promise it'll get better as I kind of get used to the setup. Also, I'm not sure if that video is up. Yet it's either going to be before this video or after this video. But I do have a huge decor haul that I did basically showing you everything that I purchased for the new Beauty room for my bedroom. Does all that kind of decor stuff. So that you're updated when I do post that video. So in today's video I am doing a review on a hair company basically, and it is the brand they go by, I an 8 or insert name here. So this is a newer hair company and they reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out one of their items and just kind of talk about it, give a review on it. So that's what I'm doing today, so I'm gon na basically tell you everything you need to know about the company and the item that I received. I'M also gon na give you guys a demo on how to put them in and just yeah everything you kind of need to know and my opinion on them. Basically, before we get into that, I'm gon na mention the lip color I'm wearing. It is the NARS power matte lip pigment in it call me I'm really bad for remembering what lip product. I wear my videos and I always get asked so that's what I'm wearing today, if wanted to know getting in to the video, so the product that they sent over to me is a like a hair extension ponytail. The name of this ponytail is called Maya before we get into this. I do want to talk about the brand itself, so they are based in LA and they are female founded. They are fairly new to the game. I believe they came about in 2018, so their website, and in here they sell ponytails hair extensions, wigs bangs, bides kind of all of that stuff. So anything you really need hair wise. They have it there for you, like. I said this is called Maya. It is a ponytail extension, so it has a little velcro wrap and then it does have this little kind of clip here. Basically, you insert it right on the top here: wrap the velcro around your ponytail and then this little extra piece of hair here is to wrap around the velcro so that you kind of cover it up. It is 24 inches long and it weighs 110 grams. So there's a lot of hair here for sure it's very versatile. It'S a great product to have, especially if you're someone who wears they like clipping extensions on the daily, because I used to wear clip-in extensions. It was pretty much impossible to wear them up in a ponytail. I would never do it. It was just too much work because you basically have to clip them all in like upside down and it's just really heavy and it pulls on your hair. So this is a great little tool to have for days that you still want to have your beautiful length from your extensions, but you want to have your hair up, because some days I like to have my hair up too. This is also gon na be great for anyone who already has long hair, maybe you're not looking so much for length, but you need volume. You have thin hair. I have pretty thin hair, so this is gon na, be really great. It'S gon na add a lot of volume and depth to your hair, and it's just gon na you know, take your regular everyday ponytail and just like up it a lot so just a really great product to have, in my opinion, and it's so easy to use This was also featured in Ariana Grande's, music, video in my head, so if you're looking for that ariana grande ponytail - and you want to know how to achieve it, this is it right here by the Maya. This is literally all you need. I think that's really cool too, that, like this was featured in it and definitely when I put this on I'm like wow, I look like ariana grande, not really, but the ponytail does so this guy retails for $ 49, u.s. or $ 70 Canadian, because I live In Canada they do have 11 different shades for this item from, like, obviously platinum blonde, all the way to black they do have. It'S called the magical Maya that one has more like kind of brighter colors. So if you have more like gray, red pink kind of stuff like that, they do have those kind of colors for you to check out. So this ponytail is made of Japanese synthetic fibers, it's a very high quality, and you can definitely tell that from touching it. It feels very similar to real hair for sure when I first got it in the mail. I 100 % thought that it was real hair and it feels even nicer than the old hair extensions that i used to wear. So it feels really really nice, but it's just synthetic fibers, but super high-quality and it does have a textured yaki perm, which gives a ton of volume you can see. This guy has so much volume. So, if you're lacking volume, this is definitely gon na give it to you now. This is heat resistant up to 400°. However, if you are going to use heat on this, you are going to affect the natural texture and volume. So if you want a little bit less volume, you can straighten it, but once you do that you lose the original texture of it. Just keep that in mind before you are styling it I'm personally just gon na leave it the way. It is because I really like the style and the texture of it. It has so much volume and its really nice, and straight already, as you can see, the only one that isn't is this one can braid this as well, which is nice and that's what I did to this little piece. That'S what has a bit of a curl to it, and also, if you are struggling to like match your shade, they have a really awesome customer service and they will help you with that. If you just send them a DM or reach out to them, email and just basically send a picture of your hair, they can help match you, so it makes it just so much easier. You don't have to worry about ordering it and not being the shape for you. So this is the shade. I have it's platinum blonde now you can probably tell it doesn't match me right now. It did match me when they sent it to me, but then quarantine got to me and I decided I wanted to change my hair, but Sally's is close and Sally's is where I get all my usual hair stuff and shipping is ridiculous from them. So I decided to just use what I had available and it didn't work out so this it doesn't matched me perfectly right now, which it is what it is. This isn't permanent. So eventually it will match me because I'll be going back to this color, but we're just gon na have to deal with it for the video. It'S not a perfect match, oh well, before I get into showing you guys how to put this in your hair. I just want to talk about a couple tips just to make sure you're, taking the best care of this, to prolong the life of it, so make sure that you brush it before and after every use and when you are brushing it, you want to lay it Flat down on a table and basically brush it from like the end and kind of work, your way up don't start up at the top and work down, because that way, you're creating split ends so work from the bottom up. Take it slow. If you have lots of knots or anything like that, use a detangling spray, just make sure you're being careful with it, treat it like your hair. Hopefully you treat your hair good, the better. You treat it the longer it's gon na last and then it does come with this little silk bag here, keep it in the silk bag when you're not using it is gon na help it from getting all tangled up, and it also prolongs the life of it. So yeah we're gon na get into styling this now. So I already have my hair up in a ponytail. Now with this, you can actually do the ponytail. Wherever you want, you can do high, you could do middle. You could do low it's up to you. I like a high ponytail, so I have mine up already. You want to make sure you have it really secured and tight. You don't want it to be slipping around, because this is gon na rely on your hair tie here. Just make sure that that's tight, also style. Your hair before you put this in makes it just a lot easier. So if you want your hair to be straight, straighten it before putting the ponytail in so what you're gon na do on fill Pro make sure you've brushed it out. So, as you can see, there's these little Clips here and then there's also like almost a cap here. So what you're gon na do is flip it behind you. I'M gon na use my near here, you're gon na, take the clips and you're going to insert it right into the bottom of the ponytail okay, so you're gon na take it where your ponytail is you're gon na insert those cuts right in the bottom of it. So that it has a nice grip there, so from there you're gon na take the velcro piece. I go from this side and you're going to wrap this in the back and then you're gon na take this side and wrap it around this way. Now, ideally, you want to make this as tight as possible, just because it's gon na look, you know the thinner, it is the better it's going to look so take it and wrap it as tightly as you can make sure that sides in and then velcro it In place, so that's what we have going on so now this part is velcro. This is all velcro, so it's velcroed in place right there now that little extra piece that hangs out you're gon na take this and you're going to be wrapping it around the velcro. So that we're covering that up so just wrap it all around. I would also make this nice and tight so that it doesn't look too big and bulky, but just making sure you're taking your covering that velcro. When you get this, it comes with two bobby pins. So you're gon na take a bobby, pin and just basically pin this little excess piece where it ends into place. I would add the second one as well just to really secure it, make sure it's not gon na move and there you go super super easy and super quick. It is secured in place. It'S not moving around. It'S not heavy. It'S not pulling on my hair and also I find that it's really fitting I'm wearing are you and a t-shirt, but this is what it looks like now. Obviously, in my opinion, it would look a little bit better if my hair matched it which it did, and I decided to be an idiot and play around with it. You can see what a difference that makes like it almost makes. It seem like I'm not even wearing a ponytail like I feel like. I just have really long, luscious hair and I really like it. I never wear ponytails because I always feel like so bald, but I love this. This just really kind of changes the game, and then you can kind of see it from a side view. You can kind of see it from the back, so very, very easy to use, and even though it has so much volume and there's so much hair, it's not heavy like it's not pulling on my hair, it's not feeling uncomfortable. It doesn't feel much different than just having my regular ponytail in if you feel like this is too much for you. It'S too much volume like I did mention you can strain it. It will take away some of that volume, but just keep in mind, you can't reverse it so once you straighten it and lose that volume you're not getting it back so just before you do it make sure that that's the decision you want. I really like how much volume there is, because I know how thin my hair is already, so this just makes it like so luxury to me, I'm like wow. I wish my hair would like this, but I really like doing the two in front because it makes me feel like I just have really nice long hair, but you can see how good it looks. It'S not like a straight cut across which I like it adds that kind of extra texture but yeah, I really like it. It definitely changes the ponytail the way that it looks for sure, and I can promise you this will not be the last time. You see this on my channel any time that I don't feel like doing my hair and I want to do a ponytail which I usually never come on camera in a ponytail because, like I said I don't like ponytails on me anytime, I want to do ponytail I'Ll be using this cuz, it doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing a ponytail makes me feel like I have such long hair, but yet it's still like all back and out of my face, and I just yeah, I really like it. You guys. I really really like it. Quality is really good and it's just a really easy product to you. It'S like very beginner friendly, I'm not someone who's advanced with, like hair extensions stuff, but very, very easy to use if you're wanting something to just kind of change up. Your ponytails, you need some extra volume. You need some length, definitely check out the Maya ponytail but check out their website in general. If you're wanting like extensions and stuff, they have some really nice extensions as well that I would check out so it's kind of my review on the Maya Pony hair extension. I think it's really like worth it, especially for anyone who already is wearing clipping extensions. You need this, like, I remember the struggle of hair extensions and not being able to put my hair up if you struggle with that, you need this.
