Hey guys, what's up its Queenie here, welcome back to my channel. Thank you for clicking on this video. As you can see we're starting off my tiny little bun today, I am back with my favorite joshing ponytail from curls curls. I have done a few videos with this ponytail, so I thought I would come back and give you guys some easy styles that you could do with a kinky, curly drawstring ponytail seems simple, but honestly they're, very versatile. So, let's get into this, I'm gon na show you a few Styles that'll, keep your hair protected and moisturize for the winter. So yeah, let's get started. The first style is going to be a low, ponytail type situation. This style is honestly what I get the most. Compliments on because it just looks so easy, but just so clean at the same time. I don't know if that makes sense, but all you're gon na do is part your hair down the middle and tie it into a nice, tiny, little middle part bun. And then you take your ponytail, and the nice thing about this ponytail is that it is obviously human hair. It has lots of space in the drawstring area. So when you go to wet the hair, it actually absorbs the water and it gets nice and fluffy and thick and soft and it resembles your actual hair, so it blends seamlessly. So that's what makes this look so good. I get so many compliments on this because it looks like my hair is just an Ocoee tail, so what you see me doing here is pulling up the top of the ponytail and pinning it up higher. So it looks like my ponytail is starting from a higher point, rather than actually clipping the entire drawstring at that part of my hair. This just gives it more volume and makes it look like. I have kind of a middle of my head ponytail going on. If that makes sense, so I fluff it out, put some water in it, make it look nice and moisturize, and that's basically it my favorite all right. So this next style I'm going to keep that same ponytail and I'm gon na take a piece from the back and I'm going to just wrap it around the ponytail part of that. So I can cover anything, that's showing and then we'll go into the style. All right so for this next I'll are going to need, is an elastic and some of the decorative tools. So first thing I'm gon na do is tie off the end of my hair, just kind of keep it contained. While I do the rest and I'm just taking an elastic, I'm twisting the hair and I'm taking the elastic to kind of tie a lump in it. Or I don't know how to explain it. But you guys see what I'm doing, I'm basically using the elastic to stretch out the ponytail so because the hair is so thick. You'Re gon na need a couple elastics. So this is the second elastic that I am putting in to really stretch out the ponytail, and I want to go all the way down my ponytail and really get it to the end. So then the end is kind of puffy and full, but what this is supposed to look like it's kind of like the elastic band method that you would do on your curls and then now I'm going in with this stretchy gold thread. You can get this from the beauty supply store, it's just kind of like a decorative piece. You can use this thread or you can use some beads some shells, some clips, whatever you want to give your hair a little bit of style. So I feel like this kind of dresses it up and makes it a little more fancy, but you can leave it as it is. If you prefer that as well, so I'm using two pieces of thread, as you can see, that was the first one. This is the second one kind of gives it a bit more of a design if you can intertwine the two. So now I'm going in with some water on the end to make sure it's nice and full and fluffy, and not stretched out too much at the ends, and that's basically it so this is the look. I love this. I like to wear to the side personally, but you can also wear to the back either or looks really good. Alright, let's move into the updos if you're more of an updo kind of person. These are all my higher ponytail styles. So the first thing we're gon na do is get our hair into again a nice small, tight bun, but just time on top of our head brush it. So it's nice and smooth. So you don't have to do it later and then I bring out my ponytail and then I stick it on to really look at it and see if it's in the spot that I like it. So if not, I can readjust my ponytail, or I guess my bun. If it is then just tighten the string and I move on so, as I said, this hair is really really good when it comes to absorbing water and more natural hair, like I guess you could say so, it becomes very thick and fluffy and soft, and then I just go ahead. I take a piece from the back, as you guys can see, and I wrap it around the base of my ponytail. So my hair is slowly absorbing the water I'm scrunching it in moisturizing cutting some ends shaping my ponytail, and this is a nice high ponytail. So you have to wait till the hair actually absorbs some water and gets nice and full and then you're good to go. You can shape it with some scissors like I did and yeah that's it. It'S pretty easy and then we're going to keep that same same ponytail and we're going to move into a nice high top knot, textured bun. So I'm literally messing up the hair and then I'm just going to hold it in place and loosely wrap an elastic around it like just make it stay in a spot for a second just like that. So you don't want it to be too smooth, because in this top knot we want a lot of texture. So that's why I'm kind of swishing it around moving hairs. This way that way and kind of creating a bit of a pattern, and then I just take some bobby pins and I pin the hair in place and make it look a bit more structured and steady like it needs to look like it's gon na stay. It needs to look a little more strong. You know what I mean so I pinned the base and I brush up the sides and I pin the top and make sure it's just sucker and then that's basically it you guys can see. There'S lots of texture in the bun because of how we tied it and it's not too uniformed it looks messy, but it also looks done at the same time. So I love it. I love a big top knot, so if you're a little bit fancier and you want something - that's kind of like a top knot, but not really. This one is for you, so I'm gon na section this ponytail into two pieces and then I'm going to go ahead and section those pieces to twist. So that's exactly what I'm doing here! All you need is a little bit of water and your fingers. So I'm just going to section it wet it detangle a little bit and then twist it right up into some chunky, twists and you'll see here I do about five twists. You can do bigger or smaller, depending on how detailed you want this look. This saw was actually inspired by something I saw on Instagram if I find a picture I'll insert it here. So I thought this was such a nice, easy style that you could do with a drawstring, ponytail or any sort of extension, ponytail style. So now what I'm doing is grabbing the back three pieces and I'm tying it into a button in one direction and then pinning it underneath the front section. Clearly, once that's pinned, I will take the front section and I will pin it the opposite direction. Creating kind of like a twisted bang or just a different swoop in the front, you know what I mean, so this is supposed to be kind of like a bang, as I said so, it's gon na be like a bun and a bang situation, but it's in Twist, I hope you guys don't get what I'm trying to say and the reason I'm putting pins right. There is to really separate the two and make you look like two pieces instead of just one big clump. So this is what it looks like it's a bit more formal. You can add some clips in there as well, some gold accents some shells, anything to dress it up and it's something you can wear to a wedding to work whatever it is and that's basically it my tutorial is done. Drawing ponytails are so versatile. So I hope you guys were able to see that in this video make sure you check out the hair details down below I've. Had this ponytail for a month and it is, it is working and staying together. I love it. So much so make sure you follow me on Instagram and subscribe to this channel check out.
