90’S Side Swoop Bang Ponytail On Natural Hair | Eva Williams

Hey you guys welcome back to my channel, as you guys can tell by today's title and all that stuff we're going to be doing. I don't know the hairstyle, yet i'm still trying to decide what i'm doing, but whatever the title says. What are we doing so? Um i bought this hair from the hair store, which was 12.99 because i'm not going to spit on that mineral. So i'm here that i'm only going to leave it for a day but um so like. Let me just tell the vision, so the hairstyle i want to do. I'Ve been seeing all of the tea talk everywhere and it'd be looking cute. Now let me tell y'all so it's either between maybe having the hair up in a ponytail and then they be having a weave. You know, and all that stuff or and in the front they be having that curl bang, the curl bang is cute or i'm thinking about a swoop, but i'm i'm leaning more towards the curl bang. If y'all know what i'm talking about like i'm, not talking about all, i know i'm talking about, i'm leaning more towards the curl bang, like the flip curl bang with the ponytail. If that's making sense, i just want to try something different, like my hair has been giving me a hard time. So let me just take this out real quick. This is on fresh, wash hair by the way like my hair was washed. I um detangled it last night, i'm giving not what it's supposed to gave. So oh look at this piece but um yeah, so my hair is detangled, so it's going to be very easy to go through and do my hair. My little damaged hair is wet in some spots like it's wet in there, but it's okay, because um i have to blow dry it or straighten it out or whatever, but i knew i was gon na. Do this style today, so i was like girl. You need to go ahead and detangle your hair, so i detangled it last night, so i wouldn't have any problems today, but um. I don't want this video to be like how most of my hair videos be i'll, just be talking so much because i'll be editing. I'Ll just be like girl: do you shut up? Do you ever shut up like what? So let me just go ahead and just see how i'm gon na do this? Oh, i forgot to go with my oil stuff, i'm going with this stuff um this purple stuff that i got it's hair grow. I mean i don't use this this much. I use a lot of different stuff, so yeah, it's nothing really major. I just put it on my scalp why i feel like that. I really don't like oils, i'm not gon na lie. Like i don't like oil in my hair. I don't like it. I don't like how i feel, but um you so greasy, but so then let me just show y'all what we're working with so the first. The first thing i'm gon na do is go ahead and part my hair, because i feel like that's what i got to do, because i want to be a side part now. Look, i ain't watching nobody video before so i don't even know how i'm gon na do this, but i know that this need to be straighter than that because girl, what you doing so, let me see um yeah, so i'm gon na just probably leave out like This much yeah this should be good enough right. It'S good enough, y'all, okay, just in case i don't know, but i know that um. I know how i want to do this hairstyle. So what i'm going to do is just i don't want to be talking too much y'all, but because it's not it's not a tutorial. I don't think this is going to be me doing my hair, but if you want to follow along, you definitely can because, like i don't think this hairstyle is going to be hard to do so. I'M just fixing to pin this so it won't move nowhere. While i swoop this up, so i'm going to just go ahead and go in my eco styler gel and i'm going to basically brush this up into a ponytail. I hope this hairstyle come out right because i don't it has to come out right. What do you mean like y'all, there's? No other way it can come out so also the hair tops. I use. Are these um cotton scrunchies that are really really good like. I would suggest those if i were you, because they they don't break your hair off they're. Good for your hair, they're just good, so i'm fixing to go ahead and just start brushing this up into this ponytail. This is how it's looking so far. Y'All as you guys can see it's kind of sleek. I only went in eco styler. I haven't went in with anything else yet, but i'm thinking with my style factor this stuff right here. This stuff will get your hair. Super sleek, like y'all, see how i look right now: yeah, it's sleek or whatever, but this stuff right here makes it like super sleek, because i haven't done my edges yet i don't even know how i want to style. My edges y'all. I really don't know, but we'll figure that out once we get to that part but um, i just want this hair. I just i don't know y'all ever just like see something so much online that y'all just be like hey. I really want to try that you know like just to try to try and with me having a youtube channel. I can actually film myself. I feel like that's the best part to me like, because, if y'all go back to my old videos like it's nothing but hair, i'm about to do this ponytail over, but like it's nothing but hair videos on my channel like majority, because it's like when i see A style i'll be like, oh, i can do this hairstyle and film it and show others how we come out so like i could be like. Okay, if you want to do this, this is what it's going to look like, and this is what you got to look forward to, or i can show y'all like how to do styles, which their hair tie just flew, which i feel like is so good, like I like that about my channel. Like that's one thing i do like so i'm trying to make sure this is super sleek. Now, i'm going with another hair tie to just make sure that this does not go nowhere, i'm probably going with another one, but with a um longer one, because i have long ones too that are like stretched out now. These little ones will never stretch this long, but um yeah. I just been had these, so i'm just going in with this to make this super tight, because for some reason to me i don't know why i'd be thinking that way. Sometimes sometimes i think tight equals equals sleek, but it really don't. Sometimes it's just headache. It just equals headache like you. Don'T have to do yourself like that sis. Now i'm gon na go in with this. This is like a got to be spray but way better, and this is called ebb and wonder: lace, yeah, adhesive, lace, stuff for your lace, but, as you guys can see, i ain't got no lace. This is just what i'm used to sleep this and make this look perfect. So i'm going with one more hair tie, so in total i use four hair ties. You don't have to use four hair ties. I wouldn't recommend it. Don'T do it, but me personally, like i said i, like my hair to be sleek. You know, even though i'll probably wear this for like one day, probably or something i don't know so now. This is the part where you want to pay attention, so i i've seen people like i don't know how to explain it braid their real hair. My hair is not that long as you guys can see. So here we go. Let'S see what we can do with this little hair, so yeah. This is how it looks. I'M going to ribbon this piece right here and i'm going to show y'all how to do the rest. You just want a rubber band. It just like this, like my ponytail, is not the perfect, it's not the best, but who cares it don't got ta, be like perfect perfect. I don't think now. What i'm gon na do is actually tie. My hair down y'all see how slick this is super sleek super sleek super sleek, ow, ow, ow, okay, i'm going to tie this down because this is gon na get messy y'all. It'S gon na get a little messy up in here. That'S all i'm gon na say. Oh, i can't see the ponytail hold on i'm about to fold this, but just know it's gon na get a little messy, just a little messy, not too much just a little. The next step, you're going to need. I want to do. I guess it's going to be a tutorial. It'S going to be a tutorial, so the next thing you're going to need or want to use, is one of these and you're just going to basically like wrap this around your hair, because so you guys do not wrap it. High wrap mine start from the end of your hair and then wrap it to the top because, as you're gon na see later on, the whole ponytail slid off like while i was doing it well, i'm probably gon na edit that out, but the whole ponytail slid Off i'm telling y'all now wrap from the end of your hair do not wrap to the top, because just right from the end, it makes more sense and it'll like hold better, and you got ta worry about your whole ponytail starting off in the middle of the Street, well, maybe not in the middle of the street, but in the middle of the day, wherever you're going, you don't want your ponytail sliding off. So with that being said, let's get back to the video hold on. Let me make sure it's neat now, because i don't need none of this sticking out good thing. My hair is not long so um yeah, like i said you just want to wrap this around your hair, because we're going to glue some tracks on this y'all we're gon na be doing tracks on this. So make sure you keep this. This is gon na protect your hair, and another thing that i will say is that the last time i did a ponytail like this y'all, why did it come off so easily like i just pulled this and it came off like i swear it. Just came off now, i'm just gon na spray this on here to like hold this, but when you glue it, it's not really gon na matter, but you know see how it's coming apart. You really don't want that. So i'm going to blow dry this and make sure that this stops trying to come apart, because this stuff is sticky like way sticker that got to be sprayed. So, like i said earlier, i had to do this part over because, like i said it has slipped all the way off. So what i'm doing right now is placing the glue and blending it with my fingers. Um. If you don't want to do this with your fingers, you do not have to, but one thing i will say is that the glue is like rubber so like once you rub it in it's like going to slide right off your fingers. It'S easy to wash off and everything, so this is a regular speed right here cause i want to show y'all like how i apply it. It is. It can get messy, just be careful now. What i normally do is, i don't cut the um tracks, but i cut the tracks, so i could actually make sure that it's laying neat y'all um. I do apologize. This video is all over the place, but you know like this. This is my first time doing something like this on myself, so i was like you know what we gon na, do it anyways. So, like i said, i cut another track and then you know you just do that all the way until you get to the top - and i just i didn't like show the whole thing so i was like y'all will understand, like just keep going to go to The top right here i'm on the phone, because somebody had called me so yeah right here, you just um, you know spray, it blow dry, it all that stuff and that's basically it. This is how the finished ponytail look. I just went around and you know, went around that part now. I was gon na do a bun, but i just changed my mind. I'M gon na go in with my flat iron, which is not even one now like. I said, while i'm saying it now, this hair is synthetic. Oh, i didn't even tell the length of the hair where the heck the length of this hair is 12 inches. So this is a good length ponytail for me i didn't have to. I don't have to cut this ponytail i'll, do nothing to this ponytail, so yeah. Now with that being said, my hair in the bag is just kind of come down. I see why people actually like straighten their hair before they do styles like this, but me personally, i'm not going to be here all day, straightening in all that extra stuff. I don't care that much so um, i'm going to just go through and do some little flat-on curls, so it can match the bang part if that makes sense yeah. This is hot. I'M just gon na go through and basically just curl this or attempt to curl. This and i have my flat iron on 340 because i don't want to burn the hair, because i've burnt this type of hair before by thinking. Oh, it can take heat, it can take heat yeah. No, it can't. I don't know if that's how i want this, but that's how i was going to look for now until i figure something else out. Maybe i need to curl the other way. I don't know, let me see but yeah i'm gon na just go through and curl. My hair see what i get here is how the ponytail looks now we can go ahead and move on to the um front of my head. Now, i'm gon na go ahead and go off. Camera do my edges. So when i come back, i don't got ta. Do too much? I can just do this because i'm gon na have to blow dry this because it's still a little damp, but other than that. It'S definitely coming together with my little cheat. Sweater yeah - and i do have some left over here in the chair. So i'm gon na put a little bit of this in my bang and my makeup and it's gon na be cute, so i'm gon na come back once i'm done with my edges, because i want to go ahead and have my edges ready and style. You know like i need them to be done and slayed, so when it i need to see the look come together. If that makes sense just a little bit my edges are done. I did some little cute fluffy baby hairs, as you guys can see. They'Re cute for now, but i feel like once i style my hair - i'm not i'm not going to like it like that, but i'm facing to go through blow dry this and i'm going to crank this flat iron up because it's real hair now baby. Let me do 14. 465, i'm not trying to cook her, but um yeah. I'M gon na go through blow dry this and i'm gon na come back and we can start placing these tracks. Actually, i don't even think i'm gon na need weave. Hopefully i don't because i don't. I don't want to glue nothing into my real hair, but i'm gon na blow dry. This put some heat protectant on here all of that good stuff, because i hope i don't need no weeds. I hope i don't but um here. I am trying to curl this and i hope this come out right y'all. I don't think i did this right. This is giving fifth grade pictures um hell. No, i don't think i did this right. Y'All. I think i was supposed to like. I don't think i did it right, um, oh no! This was not what i had in my head: okay, now: oh okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay! I just have to like comb it out. I feel like because that other thing that was just there was not what i had in mind. This is not what i had in mind either. Let'S just see what the scoop looked like at this point, because i don't have the time is the swoop cute. I got feeling about the swoop. Can you see i wish i would have did the swoop before i curled it? Oh, this is cuter yeah, because i always liked it how they had the curl in the back. But, as you guys can see, my hair is not giving what it's supposed to get. My hair is not that long and i really don't want to go in with any glue. I really don't want to. I really don't want to like. When i tell i really don't want to, i really don't want to. I really like how they do the bang, though, like how they be having that curl bang. I just think that's so cute, but for now i feel like this is more me my speed with the swoop ponytail. I guess i don't know i feel like this is more. I don't know like y'all. I honestly i'm lost words. I honestly don't know, i'm still playing it though, but um i'm gon na go off camera. Do my makeup and i'm gon na come back so yeah, okay, guys how my hairstyle turned out. It'S how i look with the makeup: the fit blah blah blah so um yeah. I went ahead and just left this little curl out, i feel like i should have added the trash, so it could have looked a little more. You know yeah, but this is the final result. You guys i actually freaking love this so yeah. I think i think every girl should try this hairstyle like at least try for the one time, if you don't like it, and it's not for you, but i feel like this just gives girly cute date night, whatever you want to give they can give, but um.
