(3) Sleek Jumbo Braid Ponytail Styles On Natural Hair

Hey dolls: welcome back to my channel, shook your affiliation and I'm back with another hair tutorial so guys. This video is gon na, be a little different from the videos that I normally show decided to switch it up a little bit and instead of doing another wig or weave tutorial, I'm bringing you this super quick and easy goddess. Braid hairstyle, this hairstyle will literally take you between five to ten minutes and cost you between five to ten dollars in the material. You can't really beat that and I think it's the perfect hairstyle if you're going on vacation or on holiday or you want to wear a protective style or you just don't feel like doing your hair. Whatever the reason it is it's up to you. So, if you're interested in seeing how I created this look, keep watching okay, dolls first thing you want to do is start off with some clean here I have four b / c here, and this is a treatment that i put in my hair that loosen the Curl, if you're interested in knowing about this treatment, comment down below, let me know so once i've cleaned the hair and blowdry it. I just take my brush and comb it up. Then I put some 24-hour edutainment on the edges. This is a really good edge control. You it doesn't revert on you midday. It actually lasts for about 24 hours and I'm just taking my hard bristle brush and combing the hair down to try to control any of those betta bees. This didn't get it as sleek as I want it. So I added some lush Cham gel and I'm just gon na pull it up in a ponytail right now, so I'm gon na take a hair tie and secure the ponytail. You want to get it as tight as possible and then I'm just taking some of this gel to create some baby here. It'S just of course it's optional. I like to pull the hair on top. This helps it make the ponytail as tight as possible and then I'm just twisting it and creating a small bun on top. Now I'm using some of these Mechelen braiding here and you want to just pull some of the hair on the bottom so that it doesn't stop bluntly - and I'm also taking some of this blonde here and I'm mixing them together and I'm gon na just take this Elastic band and loop it through to create a hook and that's what you're going to use to tie it to the ponytail. Now we're ready to attach the ponytail to the little bun, and you want to separate the hair into three sections. And what I did is I took the blonde piece and I separate it in a section, but I also added some black to it and what you'll see notice that I'm doing is that I didn't want the blonde to show up in every braid. So I alternate between twisting the hair so right here, I'm twisting it and you sold, because I want you to see the blonde piece but you'll see when I do the next braid I'm gon na twist it the other way and I'm gon na cover it with The black and you won't see the blonde show up, so I wanted to do it kind of like in a little pattern, so it was like black black blonde. However, if you want blonde to show out throughout, you can do it. However, you wish and as you see, I'm just twisting it over and now I want to show the blonde again and you're gon na just finish the braid all the way down to the end and then you're gon na take an elastic band and secure it on The bottom now I'm just loosen up the braid so that it can appear more bigger than how it was and what I did is flip the hair over and you're gon na flip it right on top of that bun, and it's just going to you - want to Just make sure the bun is secured underneath and I'm going to take two hair pins and secure that in the back and one in the front. Now I'm just going to take this scarf off and make any adjustments to the top of the ponytail fluff it out, and it's as simple as that: that's the ponytail. So to jazz it up, I'm going to add these little gold beads. I don't really know what they're called did little decoration for the braids, and I just decided to tie the hair down a little longer, so we could lay more flat and what you're gon na do with the ends here. Gon na take a flexi rod and just wrap it around the flexi rod and then take a cup of hot water and just dip the ends in that you take it out and you'll have a little curl at the end. This is a little awesome. One just cut that - and I'm gon na take this off now and I'm just gon na secure a couple more here pins to the ponytail. This is the brain um as an alternative. Another thing you could do is jazz up this braid. If you say you don't you're not really filling this gold piece, you could take these gold strings that they sell in the beauty, supply store, it costs between one to two dollars and you can just wrap this around the braid. So those you could do one of these or you could do all of these. The choice is really up to you, um, I'm not sure I would do all these. This might be a little busy, but then again it's a little different. I haven't seen anybody rocking this, so it does kind of stand out guys. Let me know your thoughts.
