Hey, what's up, everyone is tyese here, so I am coming with a new tutorial as well as a review on the new Alex a natural immigrants gel that I recently purchased. Since I love the samples so much, I just had to go out and get a bigger jar of it. So I will be attempting my very first sleek back. I don't even know if my hair is long enough for it yet, but we will see if it is long enough child. Let'S get this self-isolation hair done and that's a perfect thing about self-isolation right now, because you can try a new style and we don't have nowhere to go. So it's not much of a big list to try. You hear self now. So it's my sleep but do not come out, then I won't even worry about it. So to spite my bun, I'm just getting my hair damp with my spray bottle right here. So my hair is freshly watch about two days ago. I only used a leave-in conditioner on my hair, so yeah, so I will be sectioning off the back. I always start well. This is my first time doing this, but I see other people do it and they always start with sections in the back. Just take your clip and put it up here, so I'm gon na spray water to get it down. This is marble protective style, I'll be moisturizing first I'll, be using the allocate Naturals leave-in conditioner that these little samples and anything using them up. I need to buy the bottle by the way I'm just using this, since this is the matching gel and it's not cream base. So I know for sure, since it's not cream base, it's not gon na flake up and go crazy on my hair, so just plan it on the safe side, always play it on the safe side. When you know you're gon na be using doll, look for something! That'S more on the liquid side: okay, okay! So now that my hair is moisturized, I will be using the gel so upon opening this gel. This stuff smells so good. It smells like lemon drop candy. I love the lemongrass collection Sam. It is just everything, so this gel is matte in texture, so the texture is matte, it's not shiny. Like other gels, it is matte. So that's what sets it apart. I have never seen a matte gel before that doesn't have a shine to it, so she did want it to be versatile, which is why it's matte and the texture is so lumpy. It'S not a smooth, liquidy gel texture that I'm used to. So when I seen the texture I just knew okay, this is gon na have extreme hold. When I see the texture because look at this texture, it is so thick like. Look at that. That'S how thick it is it breaks apart. So you know when you see that it's gon na have bomb hole, and I see now's like I just knew so - I'm just gon na take a little bit gon na take about two lumps and apply it to my hair. So I'm just taking the gel - and I am smoothing the gel over that damp section in the back and I just smooth it around the perimeter of that hair. So if you want your ponytail to lay sleek with your natural hair, it is important to work in sections so that the gel can reach as much hair as possible. So after applying that gel, you want to take a smoothing brush and brush over that gel part, and then you take your ponytail holder and wrap it around that section. So this ponytail is going to be loosed out a lot of time, so you do not have to make it super tight right now. Now that you have the first section out of the way it's time to work on the second section, so you just part off a little bit with your hands and then you take your water bottle. Make sure that you jump in that section so that the hair can make flat easier and after that section is damp, and then you go ahead and apply your gel. So you want to apply it to the top of that part and also at the bottom, behind make sure that that section is covered with as much gel as possible. And now you want to lose out that first ponytail, because we are going to be connecting the two. And now you want to smooth that top section into the first section so that it can become one seamless ponytail. And then you go ahead and take your rat tail comb and smooth it out even more. If you wish, and now you go ahead and apply the ponytail holder again and put that entire section into one full ponytail. So this is the process of getting natural hair into a ponytail. You want to repeat the same process until you get to the top section of your hair, so you just part off the middle section like that: moisturize, first, okay, so you waster eyes that here, okay, so this is some of the product - looks really thick. It does go on the hair fairly smooth smooth under here and immediately when you put this gel on, you can definitely feel the strength of it like your hair, just instantly smooths down. So the strength of this gel reminds me of am pro. If you guys remember black gel back in the day, that's how strong this stuff is like. This is definitely a 4c friendly dough like Oh week, whoo. This is a lot of work coming in my neck and my arms hurt right now. I need to do this side, so I'm gon na put a part on this side. My head, I'm surprised this stuff is actually working off on my time. Okay, so I'm gon na take that ponytail out and connect these holes in the clips. Oh so I did it. I got my hair in a ponytail. Is this even my hair? Is this real life? This is insane, so this side is definitely struggling right here, but that's the best. I can do with my current length as my hair gets longer. Then it'll be easier for my hair to lay flat because it'll have more length to where the front part is actually reaching to the back of the ponytail. So I'm gon na hurry up and tie my hair before it dries. So this is key for long. It'S away. Sleek tie it really tight. Okay, so it's the next day my hair is completely dry, so I didn't let it dry the whole day. I did my hair about twelve o'clock yesterday, so it's about three o'clock the following day: I'm sure it probably dried that night, but I, as you can see, I let it dry the whole day because I didn't have anywhere to go. But if you want to speed up the process, you can use a blow dryer to help dry, your hair, but I didn't see the urge to use once and I'm just home so today I'll be taking it down. So you how it came out. Look at that day, hey this is sleek. Okay, it's so hard. It feels like a cast. I'M telling you guys. It still reminds me of a pro the black gel back in a day. That'S the strength that it reminds me of it. Is that serious, I'm shocked that I got my hair in a ponytail at this stage in my hair journey. I definitely thought it will take a lot more years and thanks to the gel I discovered. Yes, it really really made a big difference, so I'm gon na give my final thoughts on this gel. So I definitely love this shop. I got it. I feel, like I'm done with eco styler gel. That'S how much I love it I had to just purchase. This is my fat target, so yeah, I think that's the only place that sell them right now, but it's really good. It'S so strong, like I said, I'm so surprised. No one in the natural hair community is really really talking about this gel, like as much prey than attention to get eco styler job. This is definitely a gel made for kinky natural hair, like she definitely did the thing she was really looking out for us. Kinky hair girls, where she made this jelly, it's just so long. I definitely loved it like look at that. Oh my goodness, this is incredible. The smell is amazing. The price point isn't that bad $ 12 for 8 ounce. I mean it kind of is, but if you use somebody Alec in actuals, you know they're, their products are not cheap, so $ 12 for a gel from their line. It'S like a bargain and I've seen the price to be honest, but yeah, I'm so happy. I discovered this gel. I definitely get this gel a 5 out of 5 star reviews. It is just so so long, so that is it for my sleek ponytail tutorial and gel review combo. So this is three things later and my hair is still laying sleek from that gel that I applied to my hair. So I did love the outcome. Unfortunately, I had to wash my hair after recording this, because my Scout was just so itchy with all the gel. I put on my hair, but I did love the maximum hole and I would continue to use this gel whenever I do high puffs or any other hairstyles, where I want to sleek the front edges of my hair back. So thank you all so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed definitely subscribe for weekly hair videos.

Tyiece: Thank you so much for watching. Please check out my new satin bonnet brand on my website here humbleglow.com

RaisinAPhoenix: Love to see a REAL 4C girl. So many people claim to be 4c and then aren’t. Love the tutorial ❤️

Chaniece Vaughns: This is my absolute favorite gel! Actually it’s the only gel I use. I have a tapered TWA and I use it on my wash and go, twist out, coil out. Everything lol!

Tee Sulli: Got my gel over the weekend and just used it for my faux pony puff. All I have to say is A--MAY--ZING!! My 4C hair and edges are so slicked down it looks like I ran out and got a relaxer. I done went from type 4C to type 2/3. Thank you for the recommendation. Definitely underrated.

Kristal: I’m gonna try my hardest to slick my hair in sections like you do. I feel one of the big reasons why I can’t get my hair to slick is because I try to slick the entire thing all together, and that’s clearly not gonna work lmao.

Natasha X: I needed this Video - the 4c hair struggle is REAL ...

miss arcene: You can get the same result by taking your hair without sectioning it. Just pull your natural back in the pony tail and apply the gel over the exposed hair and it will look the same in less time and less effort. Just give it a try. Let me know . I have done it several times and I use cheap gel.

CC _isgreat: Thank you for this vid! My hair is this length too and I can’t wait for it to grow longer !

Riaaa: Thank you this was so helpful. I've always wanted to do a slick back bun but I didn't know how and every rime i looked up how to do a slick back with 4c hair, all these girls with 4a, 4b, and 3a would pop up.

Tee Sulli: Love it - great demo. Looks like it will make a good edge control too. Looking forward to trying this gel. Side note - do you have a link for that cool grey detangle comb?

monique bell: The oil is good too, she is featured in my business class I am taking and I decided I wanted to try her products. Great video!

Inotila: I don't think we have that gel up here in my country but I tried the style using soft n free gel. It's absolutely amazing, the results are just out of this world. Thanks for the videos and for inspiring me try this on my short 4c hair.

Tommie Nicole Boyd: Awesome Video!! I will definitely try this gel for my 4C hair. Your hair came out very nice. Love your nail color too!!
