Welcome back to my channel, you guys so today, i'm going to be showing you three different techniques, just using one drawstring ponytail, that i've got from her given hair. This is everything that came in the bag. Okay, so this is what the hair looks like out. The back, it is very tight coily, like 3c to 4a texture. You have two wig combs for the top and the bottom of the ponytail, and we also have the drawstring to make it tighter. So this is my natural curl pattern. Y'All. I am a natural, my hair is growing back from a shortcut and i just went on and shampooed and conditioned it off camera, and now i'm just going to go ahead and blow it out. So i can start with the hair styling. Now that i'm done blowing my hair out, i'm going to proceed to start with i'm parting off two little sections on each side of my head. After that, i'm just going to take my brush and brush my hair up into a ponytail just to get it out of my way and we're going to focus on the two sides first, so i found this braid here in my local beauty. Supply was unbraid. I liked it because it matched the ponytail that i had so i chose that specifically i'm going to use that for the two braids i'm going to put on the side. I also found some edge booster i've never used as booster before i always see it. A lot so i've decided, let me see what it does with my hair and if it actually works, i do like the way it lay my hair down, but typically i'm not a person that puts a lot of products on their hair, i'm normally a wig where I don't really wear my hair out, but if i do i just let my hair rock out without oil, because, like after a week or two like i got my body or my scalp kind of, creates its own oil. So that's when i know it's time for me to shampoo and i just feel like when you constantly put products in it, you have to constantly shampoo it and i do hair all day. So i don't have the time to keep shampooing my hair out and comb. It i just rather not deal with it. I rather rock my wig or leave it in one big poof ball and let it do what it do so back to this, i'm yeah i'm just going to go ahead and braid down both sides of my hair and then i'll proceed to the ponytail okay. Now, it's time to start on the ponytail after i've done with my braids, i'm just going to take the edge booster and apply to my edges so that you guys can see how it lays my hair down. So so now that i got that up in a ponytail, i'm just going to find me some baby hair somewhere, i'm trying to calm down something. Just because i got a lot of forehead and my hair just looked back uh. It'S already exposed not that these baby hair is about to do any justice for my big foe head, but i'm definitely about to pull me some down and swoop them over to give it some kind of little razzle dazzle. Now, let's take this drawstring ponytail and put it on um put the comb in the front in the back of my hair. Traditionally, some people take the drawstring that you see hanging out in front of my head and they take it and pull the whole ponytail through the middle of it. I don't i just take it and wrap it around, because sometimes it gets too tight where those combs hurt. So i just take the string and just kind of wrap it around the ponytail and then i tuck it or you can use a bobby pin to keep it in place. So now i'm going to split it in two and just kind of wrap it around to create my bun and then i'm going to mold it and take my bobby pins and place it in to set this bun in place. No at the beauty supply also found some little braid accessories that i'm going to put in i'm not going to put them on the braids one actually put them on the bun. So i'm just going to kind of place these strategically through my bun. Now, i'm going to add these cute little beads, i found at the beauty supply also to the ends of my braids. Okay, so i didn't have a beater, but i used to look away. So if you ain't got no beading, but you got a bobby pin. That'S all you need, so i just took my bobby, pin stuck the hair between it and then placed the bead on the end and slipped it right on through, and that's that for this first hairstyle all i did was add a couple accessories and it made this Little simple hairstyle pop i wish i'd had some earrings, but i can't wear them because i have kilos and i can't wear the press-ons either or whatever you call them, because i would have to put it up on my ear shaft because of where my keloids sit In no they're, just it's just too much so now. Here we are like a couple days later. I did shampoo my hair and blow it out all over again, because i like working on the clean canvas and the edge booster, which is it just had too much buildup in my hair, and i really couldn't do much with it. So what i'm doing now is i just parted off a section in the front of my hair and i'm going to take the edge booster and comb all my hair back up into another ponytail foreign okay. So now, for this middle section, i'm just going to take some of the hair off on the sides in the front of my hair and i'm going to straighten it, i'm going to keep the middle part of it fluffy, because i want it to kind of stand Up and if i just straighten it out the uh double strand twist that i'm about to show, you will be like super flat, and i don't want that. I want a little bit of height, so i want to keep that puffiness in the middle. In case you're wondering what's on my arms and fingernails, it is black dye. I was dying some bundles the day before and the dye kind of bled through the gloves and got all over my fingernails and my arms and i must have scrubbed to death. But it didn't come off, but i'm sure to come off over the next couple of days, but just in case you're wondering that's what it is. I will try to explain how to do the double strand twist, but it's hard for me to like break it down and explain it. So hopefully you got it while watching me do it, but this is what it looks like after you finish and i'm going to keep. I kept my ponytail kind of high because i want the jaw string ponytail to sit high up and to be very, very fluffy. So i got my ponytail look, i mean not my pony. Well, i got the ponytail look but got my double strand twist up and everything is all slicked up. Now i'm going to take this drawstring ponytail and i'm going to brush it out, because i want it to be more big and fluffy and full of volume. So once again, i'm going to add some accessories to kind of spruce this hairstyle up again and bring it to life. What would have been cute also too, if had i kept the braids on the side, but i'm gon. Na be honest, i took the braids down because whatever chemical is on them, braids it broke me out, had me up in the middle of the night itching and oh whatever chemicals they put on the braids, i'm gon na need them to stop, because it breaks me Out, which is why i really can't do braids, but this is what it looks like and now i'm gon na take it down and we're going to keep the same concept. But i'm going to take the ponytail and comb it straight to the back, and i want to do a french braid or under braid at the top, and that concludes style number three now i did take those other little rings that i had earlier and placed them Along my so i thought that was cute too, or you can just wear it like this, so i think i'm gon na stick with this hairstyle. So it looks like this. Hairstyle is the winner for today, i'll be going to my little cousin's birthday party. This is a great protective style away from the braids away from the weaves. If you just kind of want to let your hair breathe, but you don't want to wear it down. This is great. It'S simple. It'S easy to do. Details for this ponytail will be down in the description box.
