What'S up you guys, my name is Ariana and welcome to my youtube channel, as you guys can already tell from the title. This video specifically, is going to be how to achieve a low sleek bun on top for a natural hair or just type 4, hair in general, be sure to LIKE subscribe and turn on that notification boat. So you guys will get alerts whenever I do upload, I'm starting out on old hair and I'm going around my perimeter with water just to get my hair a little bit more pliable. So I can go ahead and start doing what I do as you guys can see. I am parting, my hair down the middle and I am putting the left side into a ponytail just to get out of the way and on the right side, I'm sectioning out the back piece. Just because that's where I wanted to start and I'm spritzing my hair with water all over, I don't really want to dampen it to the point of Dripping. But it needs to be wet enough because again, it's old hair and, as you guys see, I'm going in with my olive oil, eco styler gel and my Denman brush and I'm just detangling section by section. This part is going to be pretty repetitive, but it's very necessary, and also you guys can see that I was brushing the gel all the way down to the ends of my hair. My hair is very thick, as you guys can see, and if you want to get that super sweet low bun, you guys have to take your time with each section and just like put a crap-ton of gel in there. I know it's gon na look like I'm using a lot of gel, but that's because I am some of you may be able to use less gel than me, but I've learned my hair and for my hair, the more gel I put the better. I know a lot of people struggle with the white residue and stuff afterwards, but I will explain towards the end of the video how to get rid of the white residue when you're on like day 2 or 3. So again, the main steps with this is water. On your roots, a lot a lot of eco styler gel and then you just want to detangle it with the Denman brush. Now, something I will say is that you guys see me here, detangling it, but I'm detangling the gel into the ends of my hair. I'M not specifically applying it at the ends, but I want the eco styler gel to be throughout all of my hair, because whenever my hair is gelled down, it kind of is not as thick and it's easier for me to put it into a ponytail. So if you I struggle with having thick hair, you guys need to follow my steps to a tee. My hair is the thickest at the top of my hair, where you guys see me adding the gel right now, but also in the middle, so another tip that I used on the part of my hair. That'S like already slicked back. I used there's some type of clip. I don't know what it's called, but I'll have everything down below in the description box, for you all and that clip is a lifesaver. It'S way better than butterflies clips it's better than ponytail holders, it's better than all of it. Natural hair problems, but yeah. So again you just want to smooth the hair down. Now you guys see me using my column, additional natural hair problems yikes but yeah, I'm just using my comb and I'm smoothing my hair down into the direction that I want it to and now I'm done with half of my hair. So I just decided to put it in a ponytail and just to get out of the way, and I pretty much do the exact same thing. On the other side, before I put all of my hair in the ponytail, I have to go in with my gut to be glued ultra gel y'all. I know a lot of people use this gel for wigs, but if you guys are new to my channel, I use this like every time. I do my edges, but for young movies get you some, it will change your life. This in combination with eco styler gel, is really the only thing that gets my hair, as laid like this and as y'all can see. I don't have that hump in the middle that normally most natural hair girls would get because they didn't take their time going through section by section and putting a lot of gel in their hair to get it to lay down. I kind of OD Don the wrapping of my ponytail, but I really wanted it to be secured and laid because I'm kind of lazy. If I do my hair once I'm not doing it again, so we had to get this ponytail right on the first truck now. What you want to do with the white residue, you just want to take a towel and wipe it off because you don't want to be like with wet hair walking around all day, because it's just not a good. That'S all. I can say once you're done: securing your ponytail. You want to just take the ends of your hair and you want to just wrap it into a low bun, and then you want to use one or multiple elastic bands just to secure it in place. The next step is using whatever curly hair bundle that matches your natural hair texture, and you want to find the end of the bundle that is like open, and you want to split off a little piece and then wrap that around the base of your ponytail. I know a lot of people will use bobby pins or rubber bands to start it, but you honestly don't have to once you just wrap it around you're gon na wrap the other part of the bundle in the opposite direction, and it's kind of like you're overlapping. That first little piece that you put down side note, this hair is from my website. It is in the top left corner of your screen. Ariana LOF calm! If you personally are interested in purchasing some bundles from tools, wigs whatever just go to my website and check everything out, also, if you guys have any questions about my site, please feel free to leave questions down below. In the comment section, this bundle is from an affordable collection on my website and it's the kinky curly texture I feel like if your hair texture matches mine. So if you are like for a maybe 3c, I feel like my kinky curly hair will match your texture perfectly. Honestly. If you have 4b or 4c hair, you guys can make it work. Well, you just kind of have to sleep, your hair down more so it'll kind of like be like the same curl pattern, because the last thing you want to do is have like stupid waves on your scalp and then the end of your hair, or the bundle Is like not as tight as your regular curls but me being a natural girl. I really wanted to try my best to find a texture that matches my hair, so we can match your hair as well. I'M doing the exact same thing here, with the bundle that I did with my real hair on the first step. So again you want to get it wrapped around the base of your ponytail, and then you want to kind of like fold it and wrap it over. Your own natural hair, that way your real natural hair is not sticking out and it's just the bundle that's showing, and then you just want to use the elastic bands and you want to secure it in place. So it's really simple. You just got to make sure you cover your real hair. Basically, the next step is to find whatever bobby pins you want to use, and you just want to put those into your bun to secure all the flyaways down, but also to kind of make sure that the hair that you wrap around your natural hair doesn't move Because I've done this before and then like my real natural hair, was sticking out of the back and the bundle was just like on the outer perimeter of it. So I mean if your real hair is curly, you might be able to get away with it. But this has a pro, so we need to cover all our natural hair just to make this hairstyle look good. This is by far my favorite step of this hairstyle, I'm applying eco styler gel to my edges and I'm about to just play around with the design. Um, I do my edges literally on almost every video I feel like at this point. It'S getting a little repetitive. I don't know, maybe if you guys want to check out my other edges, video that I have, but I also do my edges with different products. So in this video I will be the eco styler gel and got to be ultra blue gel these two together, your hair will not move for like five days. I promise you and we're doing my edges. To be honest, it depends on where my bun is located on my head, since it's a low ponytail, I kind of wanted to have like three swoops going into it. I don't know it just looks good on my head. Different people have different head shapes, so you just got to figure out what edge style works for you and what you like, the most also my edges on the sides. I cut them because they get too long, and I like to do my little curly see that y'all see here. So I personally like to cut my edges. I know we'll feel differently about that, but I don't care because my hair grows back fast. So it is what it is once I get the foundation of the edges done with the eco styler gel. I just go over the top with the got to the ultra glue and then I kind of like smooth it in and coming in again and then once you're done with that everything is literally locked and secured in place. I almost forgot to tell y'all to get the white residue out of your hair. All you have to do is add water and then oil and then just Reed brush that area. If it's still flaky just add more water - and I promise you guys - it will definitely go away if it doesn't go away with just water. Add additional oil because it'll help break down the product begin, and then that is what makes the residue disappear. This hairstyle by far is my absolute favorite, natural hairstyle that I have ever worn because it's so easy and cute and chic like you, could literally go to work with this hairstyle. You can go on a lunch date or you could just wear envy children leg. It'S literally perfect for every occasion I want everybody who has made it to this point in the video to go ahead and comment down below in the comment section. What is your go-to natural hair style? Because I took this poll on my Instagram and there's a lot of people who said that they like the high bun but a lot of people like the low bun as well. So I'm really just interested to see what kind of hairstyles y'all are rocking. But yeah. Here is the finished. Look. I didn't tie my hair down or anything like that. Like I said once you put the guts to be gel on your hair, it's gon na dry and it's not gon na move. Super cute super simple. It lasts forever, and this is just me goofing around doing my little slow moves that I always do so again, if you are new, be sure to subscribe to my channel leave a comment down below introducing yourself and I'll start turn on that notification belt. So you guys will get alerts whenever I do upload thanks again for watching. I will see you guys in my next video peace.
