Hi guys welcome back to my channel, it's Leon doh, and today's video is very exciting, because I'm gon na make everything easy for you. Okay, we're gon na wash our clippings easily detangle them easily install them easily. I'M gon na show you guys the setup how I install my clippings from the back to the front, the pattern that I use and how versatile it is, so that, if you want to do different styles with the same pattern, without removing your clips, you can do That, okay, so let's make today an easy day and let's get started, this video is sponsored by curls curls and they are a factory-direct vendor. So you don't have that pesky middleman! Who increases the pricing? I checked the pricing with other companies that I've reviewed on my channel for a kinky, 4b 4c clip in extensions and curls curls definitely is cheaper than every brand that I've used. I don't know about every brand in existence because I don't know every brand in existence, but the ones I know they are cheaper, so they sent me 20 inches of their fixed set, which is two hundred and forty nine dollars. It has ten twin pieces by four three and quadruplets. I have a new assistant from Amazon. It'S so helpful with washing and styling prevents the clippings from doing backflips and tangling in all the worst ways definitely worth buying, even though it's not fully functional, I'm stacking, the clippings from the longest to shortest making sure they are hooked in tightly because kinky hair will Pop up without warning, it takes a lot of volume, let's close the caddy and take a bath in the sink dunk the hair in a soapy solution and work. It work it work all of the dirt processing and coro coro out of there. Okay, I usually don't care to condition hair because it's like I know it's allegedly human hair, but do I really care no to detangle my hair, I'm gon na keep it simple. I am going to apply some product, just a very small amount of grow, Gannicus lotion and then I'm going to just pick at it, not really comb it just pick in different areas. I should believe detangle it, but I'm not - and I don't need to. I just want it to be a little bit more fluffy and bring on the volume. Here are my clippings guys: they are 10 inches long when unstretched and what I'm going to go ahead and do is set my foundation so that I can put them in my hair. It'S not as kinky as it usually is because I actually put product in it and I have been wearing it all week. What I have to do now, because I'm going for middle part, look, is I'm going to part down the middle and then part on either side making sure I don't pass the ear at some point. I'M gon na have to separate my hair to put in the clips, because I'm gon na have to separate my hair to put in the clips. I need to make sure it's a little bit wet that way. I'M not gon na run into problems. As I apply. My clips that sounded really crunchy and dry and you guys just a little bit of product I already have product in my hair. I don't need to add too much more and go ahead and work it. I'M gon na go ahead and click that up and I don't really think where you start matters too much as long as you know what your end result is going to be, but I am going to start from the back because I do have hair coming down On either side, so it's just gon na be easier for me to do the back and then the front a little bit more of a groat evader lotion and I'm tying my hair in the back using the banding method to further compress my hair, because I kind Of need it out of the way for this, so this one has five and one thing you can do with your clippings is customize them. It'S very easy to just believe that. Well, this is how I received them. This is how I should keep them, but if you need to cut them to fit your head, cut them cut in between the clips. Nothing bad is going to happen as a matter of fact, you're gon na end up with more clippings to be more versatile with your styling, so I'm gon na just gauge and see how number 5 works and see that I need my first guy to hold it Down in the very back at the very bottom, I'm gon na get a three and I'm gon na use a three to just do a semicircle, and I will be going with the curve of my head or some kind of curve. I don't know how it's gon na work out, but that's what we're gon na do, because I just don't believe in going straight with clip-ins, alright guys. So the next one is the five and I'm going to go above the ponytail right here and we're gon na close it in, on a more serious note, guys, if you don't want to clip your hair, you don't really have to if it fits comfortably as a Comb do that because sometimes the clipping can be damaging on your hair, especially along the hairline, definitely steer clear of that in the middle. Not so much your hair is a bit stronger there. So bear that in mind as you clip for reference in case. Anybody wants to know, I do have 22 inches. That'S my circumference, like 22 22.5, depending on how I braid my hair - and I am going with the four to just kind of measure and see I can't see, but I'm trying to see and four it's just a little bit. I need something to come far. I'M gon na do another five. It was three five five feel like I'm giving you my number, don't close. The clip is until everything's combed in nicely okay. So one thing I also want to make sure you do is make sure it doesn't feel tight if it feels tight. It'S not right and you need to take it out and put it back in. Try not to go too close to the roots. Go a little bit off, maybe like half a centimeter off from your roots. You have kinky hair, nobody's gon na tell the difference and it's going to be safer on your hair. So, let's see if I can see: okay, alright guys so now we're gon na. Do the front look at that? Look at that! It'S like my hair was made for these clippings like we're blending almost except my hair is a bit stretched out, but I'm gon na put some clippings here and yeah so right here, I'm parting around my temple. This is where my part would be if I flipped this way. That'S where I'm gon na place. My clips, I have five four three, two, those are my numbers of clippings parting, my hair at the temple. I'M gon na put a number two here. I'Ll come up a little bit more and put another number two feel like this is enough space or maybe not it's a little bit Spacey, but I'm going in at least a centimeter. I don't need people knowing what's going on in my head, so I have to go in a little bit. Let'S do the other side. This thing looks like a million times better in the mirror. I don't even understand, but it's so full look at this. I do have a five and a three left over. So basically I went three five, five, four, two, two, two, two. Okay, that's my number three five, four, two, two two two and I'm going to just grab my fingers. Just use your fingers or I'm using my fingers, you can do whatever you want. You can get a pic. I want to be very gentle with my hair. As I was clipping my hair. I made sure that I didn't touch my scalp at all. It'S far from the scalp, so it's a safer way to install your clippings and I've been doing that for years, because I've been wearing clippings for years. So that's something you should definitely if nothing else, if you are of the kinky variety, make sure whatever you do with your clippings, you clip a little bit away from your scalp at least half a centimeter away. This much also don't mess with the back too much as far as clippings go. It'S so easy to get matting in the back, but the front is easy to control so put in another number three for added length and volume, and I guess I could just go all glam guys. We'Re gon na put in this number four somewhere, like above the first five, maybe between the two fives. This is gon na, be interesting because I found a gap. Oh yes, now we are done okay! Well, after this will be done, I'm so used to seeing wigs. It'S so embarrassing. It is so embarrassing, but I'm so used to wigs that I kind of want to put makeup here, but I'm not I'm not gon na, do it. This is it for the rest of the week. This is how I guess one thing that helps my middle part is to make sure I bring my hair forward just a little bit cuz. I have a big forehead and I don't want to have too much going on in front or too much not going on. I don't want that negative space. The bags don't have to come forward so much but make sure everything around the ears is coming forward. Otherwise, if you're like me and you're, the big forehead you're gon na have like an alien head and too much of the outline of your face and that's just not aesthetically pleasing. I, like it a little bit asymmetrical because I don't want it to be too matchy-matchy on both sides. It gives it character and when you go like this or like this yeah, it's good okay, I'm gon na turn around and I'm going to pin my hair underneath because because I do have that compression ponytail and it needs to go so we're gon na put it Under and I'll show you guys how I do that just in case I do have some bobby pins here. I don't know where my tubs of bobby pins are because I have a lot of bobby pins but yeah first separate your hair, of course, and then grab your compression, ponytail and tuck it underneath in there, because I didn't tie it too tightly. I have so much room to tuck under and then I can pin to make sure nothing comes out and it stays put. That'S gon na keep things nice and flat back there and you don't have to be self-conscious about what your hair is doing. Also, instead of doing the banding method like I did, you can always braid your hair and tuck under and it's gon na be so much easier to do that. I just chose to do the banding method, because my hair was not combed. I don't want to manipulate it too much. I don't mind, manipulating the front a little bit because it's in my reach and I can easily keep it safe, hair up here. It'S not gon na get tangled. It'S not gon na get matted it's right here. It'S just sitting it's just sitting. Yes, there's! No, if there's no problem above my ears, it's below my ears, where the problems come because I'll be driving and my head is back, I'm sleeping and my head is back, I'm doing stuff and you know stuffs getting matted back there. So this is how to easily and safely put in your clip in extensions. You can take it a step further guys with some styling. One thing you can do if you want to define the middle part, is just come down, get a little piece out here seriously. No more than 1 by 1 centimeters and get another piece kind of twist it over and then pin that down. It doesn't have to be perfect, the less perfect it looks the better. I think I want to bring it lower and the kind of Latin things I'm gon na like twisty tie, so I really do wish. I had like hair clips when I rolled it. I did like a double French rolls, rolling inward and then I'm gon na grab. Just like a little tiny piece of hair back here, I'm gon na tie it with a scrunchie, don't even have edge control, oh sometimes, sometimes when my hair is on my face. I'M like I don't like being touched, like my body being touched like if you touch my hair, I probably wouldn't notice, but if you touched me here or touch my face I'll, probably elbow you by accident cuz, I have bad reflexes. If you touch my face, you know I'm just saying: that's your own fault. Whatever happens is your own fault, but my hair, coming in my face. I don't like it so much so this is ideal for me and I'm gon na give you guys one more hairstyle. What I'm gon na do now is I'm gon na go over. I like to go over. I just love that swoop. It doesn't look good. It does not look good at all I'm trying to swoop over it's not looking good, my hair short. What do you do? You get some of the hair, that's back here and kind of, let it tuck in and under and just fill it in with whatever clip-in hair is available nearby, and that should help you out kind of tuck little pieces of your hair in with the clip in Kind of like, if you were twisting or blending, or something because again this is kinky hair, so kinky hair is going to kind of tuck under other kinky hair and stay put it's not going anywhere. I don't think this would work out with straight hair. Honestly, there's no way there is literally no way so just kind of tuck and bring a little bit more of the hair forward. Last one - and I'm done you can always just kind of like bring your hair, like so kind of twist it coming back, and that will make it so that you can just clip it. This is something I always did like when I first went natural I'll twist. The front and make it go back and then put my hair like a banana clip or something, and it was always so cute like super cute, because your hair is exposed on the sides, you can easily tie it up. If that's, how you feel and I'm using a knee-high stocking, because obviously a scrunchie is not gon na work here and I'm gon na use that to make my ponytail in the back. It'S gon na be a low ponytail, because I have clips in the back. But if I wanted to be a bit higher, I can just remove the clips in the very back so that they don't show at all for ponytails. I do like the African hair threading method, and I won't do like going around with this. I'M just going to like pull my hair back and then hold it down with my thumb and wrap around, and I personally feel like this is the most oh, that's your real hair. Look because nobody's gon na be checking to see if this well, they might never mind. I take it back. I take it back, but most people when they see your hair tied back like this they're gon na, be like well, if you're not trying to be extra with your natural hair. Usually people are gon na think that that's just how your hair is so this is definitely a good one to go perfect for workouts perfect for anything work, workout whatever, but the first hairstyle. I showed you guys, that's my favorite! Definitely you guys. Let me know which one is your favorite, because I'm curious to know and how would you style it? I really wanted to bring something where you clip your hair in and you have options to style after you clip that way. You can kind of like navigate your hair and figure out, which style is the style for you that day, and this is a very versatile pattern to use. If you want to style your hair and of course you can go from this side to that side. I just prefer making my swoops go this way, for some odd reason, very simple pattern when installing very simple to style. Whichever way you want to style your hair, so thank you so much for watching. As always, I really hope this helped anybody who has questions about clippings and really wants to get to know their clip in extension, and thank you so much curls curls for sponsoring this video.
