Styling My Daughter'S Stretched 4C Natural Hair| Beautiful Results

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel and, as you can see, this is a continuation from me using the rev air on sydney's natural 4c hair for the very first time and we love the results now it's time to style it, and i just want to show You step by step of what i did if you haven't, subscribed yet go ahead and subscribe share and like and stay tuned for more information. Okay, here's sydney's hair and here are the products that i'm using first, i'm going to start off with the cream of nature. Argan oil and what this is going to do, it's going to add a lot of shine to her hair and also it is a heat, protectant and um. When i actually use the rev air blow dryer, i use the aunt jackie's quench leave in conditioner. It'S like an intense leave-in conditioner and i should have added the argan oil on her hair before i blow dried it so next time i'm going to just use the argan oil as a heat, protectant and a little of the quench, because i use a lot of It and i really didn't like the results from using a lot you. I love to use a lot to detangle her hair, but not when it's actually blow dry, because it makes it a little crunchy and i'm using the nairobi. Rapid shine, foaming lotion and that's also going to add a lot of shine to her hair. I want sydney's hair to look nice and shiny and healthy. I feel like a nice shine on your hair. A sheen makes your hair look extra healthy, especially when you have a dark, colored hair. So i'm going to be using that and also i just wanted a light hold on her hair um. This style is going to last for the week and um on the weekend. I'M going to be styling her hair and braids. She said mom, i don't. I don't want braids but she's, going to get braids because she got the black girl test today, because well not today, but over the weekend her friends wanted to go swimming and her hair was freshly washed and styled, and i told her you're going to have to Get your hair washed again, so she had to think about you know: do i really want to swim so this weekend i'm going to put braids in her hair, so she can swim freely and not worry about her hair. But my point was: the nairobi adds like a soft hold and it doesn't flake up. So it's like the perfect hold for the hair without flaking. So i'm going to add a little more argan oil all over her hair because, like i said, sydney's hair is um. It'S 4c natural, beautiful hair, but it is porous and with pores hair you have to add more product. If you know what i mean, that's, why it's important to know the porosity of your hair and um i'm using the rapid shine, but i'm not using a lot and i probably use a little too much. I'M doing three pumps on each section and you have to be careful on blow-dried hair because it will revert because it is a water-based product. So her hair did revert a little bit, but it's still cute and it wasn't too much not too much. You know so. Um, i'm going to do this to each section and i really wanted to let you guys watch because i know people actually like to see the process. Sometimes i cut it out and i get my subscribers saying. I like the way, i'm feeling so now that i'm on my last twist this was the night before sydney went back to school. Um. Look at her, she loves, she loves it and um. Now here's when, because in the other video i said, i was going to trim her hair. This is the way i like to trim sydney's hair in the twist. Sometimes i used to just style, sydney's, hair and two strand twists all over and they were so cute. I think i'm gon na go back to that style um. This is the way i trim her hair every time it works for us, and it's just like you look at the end of your hair and you see the the smallest or this where the hair becomes the thinnest or i call them like little stragglies and you Want to cut those off as much as you want. That'S how i cut her hair and it happens like every six months. I don't do it too often, because you know guys know i already cut her hair off and i just try to take care of it as much as possible without losing a lot of hair. So she went to bed it's time for school. She'S excited sydney loves school. Sometimes you know she likes to go to school, but she doesn't like to be in school if you get what i'm saying but um. So it's the next day and i'm taking some more of that argan oil and i'm spreading it all over her hair. Just to add that shine, because you know at night you do lose a little product. That'S why it's important to sleep in silk wraps and bonnets and everything everything's silk and i am just going to unravel her hair all over and then i'm going to like do a twist to ensure that the um curls stay in it the twist. But i really didn't like that. Look too much in the back. I should have just um separated the hair and then separated a little at the top and left the bottom portion in its form. So i'll do that next time. But what i like about sydney wearing her hair, like this is she's starting to at night she's learning to take care of her hair, more and more so before she goes to bed she'll retwist, her hair, um, she's learning what style she likes sydney. One thing i know about sydney: she knows what she likes and she's very stern about it. She likes what she likes. If the hair is not right, she will tell me, but sydney is all about wearing her hair free um. If sydney can wear an afro every day, she will but i'm trying to teach her if you're going to wear afro, you have to take care of your hair at night and prep it. So we can save. We can continue allowing your hair to grow, because if you don't take care of your hair, any hair, even 4c hair, it will fall out. You know and the detangling process will be crazy. Any type 4 hair because my hair is 4b and it tangles so easily, and that's one thing um that i have to work at my hair all the time. I cannot leave it in a ponytail. I cannot leave sydney's hair out at all without taking care of it at night before bed, because that's when all the matting happens and the tangles occur so really take care of your hair and use product. So i'm very happy that sydney, uh is learning these techniques and i'm happy to teach her these techniques, because she's loving her hair, more and more, she still is tenderheaded. I don't care what we use. This girl will be tenderheaded and i am still thinking about relaxing her hair um. It'S going to hurt my heart a little bit, but i'm like this lasts because you had to detangle your hair before you use the rev air. Yes, the red air was excellent. Look at sydney's, like i told you, she's like what's going on here, mom so, but with the red air. You have to make sure your hair is really tangle free before you put it inside the wand and it was heck because i really thoroughly y'all know. I don't really detangle her hair as much because i don't want her to be uncomfortable, uncomfortable, but i had to really get into it. So this is what we do. I tell her every morning or to shake your hair into the style like you have to get it to shake your hair, to get the volume, and you see how, though her hair has risen up, the volume occurred, that's what we do and then i sit, and I separate it, i put it into place so um, you know with day one hair you have to like form it a bit, but each day it looks better and better. That'S what i'm saying i'm telling sydney today is only day one like day. Two and three is popping but um. I just wanted to show you guys this process and how it looked after she came home from school. She was so happy with her hair. She felt good as long as sydney feels good. I don't care, but she can go to school. If i don't stop her and say sydney now, your hair needs to be. You know like today she went to school with a headband on, but she was wearing it on her forehead because she likes her hair to be in her face. So the headband was on her forehead, so she needs a little regulation, a little guidance.
