Slick (Sleek) Back Bun Tutorial | Short Hair Friendly

Hi lovelies. I am back with a tutorial on how I do this easy slick back bun. This is my version of a protective style lol! A couple of you guys had asked for it so here it is. It's really nothing to it!

Argan Oil by KISS (this came with a flat iron I purchased)

Hello guys welcome back to the channel. This is fell from be essential, calm and I'm going to show you how I get my slicked back bun, so I'm starting on dirty hair. I just think it's easier to do this on dirty hair rather than virtually washed hair. Then I'm going to be parting, my hair down the middle, and I'm going to begin putting my hair and what I call a rough draft ponytail. This just allows me to begin to mold my hair to the style that I want it. I'M going to be using this Pantene relaxed, hair oil cream moisturizer, and I'm going to be applying that on my hair to kinda act like a gel and to mold my hair in the slick style that I want it in now that I got my hair, some Wet laid I'm going to take out my ponytail and begin adding my eco style gel all over my hair to really begin to lay it down. I'M going to put my hair in another ponytail, and this turns into my second draft ponytail and I'm going to begin to really work on my edges and my Shante sideburns. I don't show it, but I am using my Carol's Daughter, black vanilla, edge control. Now I'm going to do my final ponytail and this time I am pulling my hair through the scrunchie twice and on the third time I am NOT pulling my hair all the way through, and this creates a loop bun effect. If your hair is short like mine, there may be some pieces of the hair that slip out, but we'll fix that later now, I'm going in and I'm pulling out my baby hairs. This part is optional and I don't go overboard with this, because it can easily go all the way left and look crazy. So I literally just pull out the baby hairs now for the pieces that are sticking out for my bun. I am simply going to wrap them around the bun and then bobby, pin them to seal everything and I'm going to be applying some argan oil all over my hair to add some shine. Then I'm going to apply this velcro satin head, wrap to my hair, to let my hair set for a few seconds and to really lay down my edges so guys this is the finished. Look. You can add some hair and your bun. If you would like it to look fuller, I just try to keep the style as low maintenance as possible, so I don't add any but yeah.
