What have I done!!????? Just kidding, I definitely needed a change & my hair grows relatively fast.
I’m probably going to go and get the actual hair cut that I posted on Instagram but this will have to do for now. I CANT WAIT to style my hair this length. It’s going to be fun :)
One hour ago I posted this picture on Instagram and I said: should I go for it so anyways I flipped through the comments and there was like you know some four and some against, and then I got to this comment by wavy, curly Krystal and she says: Do it do it, do it do it, do it, do it all caps with exclamation marks, I triple dog, dare you well wavy curly crystal one thing about Susie? Is she doesn't like to back down from a dare now before I start hacking off my hair haphazardly for your entertainment. I do want to give a little Susie public service announcement, and that is that I don't recommend cutting your own hair. I always recommend going to a professional stylist, the person that cuts my hair, normally the hairstylist I've been going to for a long time. Beth is amazing and Beth, I'm so sorry. So anyway, I'm just gon na go wash my hair and put conditioner in it and come back with wet hair and we're gon na. Let the games begin before I start doing anything strategic, I'm just gon na cut a bunch of my hair off of the ends. So that I have less to work with I'm just gon na pin like the short part of my hair up right now, so it's not as thick guys. I can't even believe that I'm doing this, but I'm really excited so I don't even care. So. Here'S like the longest part to my hair, I'm just gon na gon na take this right here, hold it down, move along my shoulder and oh, my god. These scissors are so sharp. Let'S see no turning back now, oh yeah, not even bad. I'M gon na do this here line. I can't even hold scissors, let alone cut my hair again, I'm not pretending to know what I'm doing at all all right and that's all I'm going to do with my hair wet because I am afraid of the shrinkage. So I'm going to diffuse my hair right now super quick and then I'm going to continue to shape my hair a little bit. I'M probably gon na fix it up a little bit tonight when I'm home like in an actual mirror, but I'm going to like dry. My hair and shape it enough for you guys to see what it looks like it's not all the way drawing it, but I can totally see the shape of it now and you know what it's not short enough. Okay, so I know it's not as short as the Instagram photo, but this is as brief as I can be today. I think if I decide to go a little bit shorter, I will leave that to a professional but guys I'm loving, having short hair for a change. It'S been a really really long time and feels very you know fresh and spring summery. So I have zero regrets and thanks so much to everybody who, like posted on Instagram and motivated me, to go to Sally and buy scissors and cut my hair and a half hour. It was awesome best Saturday, ever so uh yeah here's, my new, do. I always struggle when I go to a hairstylist because they never want to cut my hair as short as I'd want to, and my haircuts never end up as I imagined (it's hard being an introvert). Last week I cut my hair for the first time in 12 years (not counting end trims) My hair was down almost to my waist and I chopped it off in a short bob (chin length) BUT all I had been doing was wearing it in a ponytail most of the time so I had no products to speak off and a major case of the frizzies ackkkk. At the beginning of the week, while researching ways to get rid of the frizz and be able to wear my hair natural with beautiful curls, I came across your channel and watched a few of your videos and I loved the results so I ordered the Biotera Alcohol Free Defining Gel you recommended and a deep leave in conditioner my hairstylist recommended. I got them on Friday. I applied them yesterday as per your instructions and I love the results! I thought it would take longer for the frizz to be gone because it took your hair about a month to get with the program but I guess my hair was not too damaged. Thanks for your time and wonderful tips!

Emily Elizabeth: I was having so much trouble getting my curls to come out with my very long hair ❤️ but I cut my hair yesterday and my curls came out with much less work I still have quite a bit of breakage and damage but since starting CGM I’ve had a ton of new growth. The stylist I went to helped so much to mask the fuzzy new growth. I do t regret cutting it at all!

Yes I Kahn: Thanks for sharing! That was impulsive, brave and somehow satisfying to watch. I love short curly hair. Yours looks good on top. I do recommend going to a professional stylist to trim/shape the area around the jawline. The current puffiness around the jawline makes it look wider and this needs a fix, in my opinion. Love your videos and advice!

That hair will look great on you if you go shorter or just stay close to where it's at now. You just have the cutest personality and vibe that you could rock a buzz cut.

Cyndi Kehrli: I had the same cut about 5 years ago. Did it myself ,too. Really liked it, but grew it out. I be gone from 1.5 inches to almost waist length and I always cut my own hair because I know my own hair best and I’ve had too many disasters at the hands of stylists. Your hair looks great. Continue to trim it yourself. You can do it. It’s not rocket science, just angles!

Chrystal Thornton: Just started CG 2 weeks ago and had a chin-length bob which became a silly triangle when I curled it. Followed YT examples of how to cut dry (kind of like clipping a hedge) and getting layers did wonders for my curl. I know if I had gone to a professional they would have wet it, stretched it straight and given me something I couldn't deal with plus I saved $25. Thank goodness for YT.
