itsxteddy: I recommend doing it when your hair is dry/damp, that way it won’t sizzle and steam won’t come off it love the outfit

Platie: Her: “ why is my hair sizzling!” Also her staining it when it’s wet.

Phoenix Queen Gaming: Omg! I have curly hair too! Don’t straighten it when it’s wet though, you gotta wait. Then there’s these hair brushes that are like straightening irons, it’s really useful. Also, braid the top of ur hair back as apart of the look! It’s really cute!

Chloe Rees: I have hair like you so what u need to do is… 1-let your hair dry completely first 2-sections parts of your hair up into the top middle and bottom 3-as you straighten your hair have a hair brush underneath so u can brush out the hair once it’s straightened so it doesn’t curl back up 4-continue that all the way up to the top and you will have long beautiful straightened hair

Liana Cardona: Another curly haired girl here! NEVER straighten your hair when it’s wet or damp. Let your hair dry 60% to 80% on its own and then blow dry it. After that you can go in with a straightener. I recommend some heat protection products when you blow dry it and use a roller brush when you dry it. Antifreeze products after you straighten it are a must!

grace lever: i think the reason it’s sizzling is bc u tried to straighten it when it was wet - no hate aha x

Pudding: I have curly hair, and it’s super easy to straighten it when you do it the right way. What I do is, i’ll wait till my hair is fully dried. Then I’ll brush it out, and then I’ll part it into sections. And then i’ll just take small portions of those sections and go over them with a straightener iron! it always looks good

Ash: Sabre, I’ve been a fan for a really long time! As a curly hair queen as well, when you straighten your hair and make sure that it’s not wet or else it will start sizzling and it won’t straighten. Get all of the notes out and then just straighten it. If you need help always just ask me.

Shaeee!: Straightening it while it’s wet can sometimes take all your hair off

Rod squad world: Love it! If you want to straighten it out without it getting too frizzy, you should get one of those blow dryer hair brushes. Also, your hair shouldnt be wet when you straighten it. (Not to be rude, I'm a huge fan❤)

Kaia: Btw the reason it’s sizzling is because you’re straightening it when it’s wet, I recommend you to put some heat protection in it and then use the straightening iron

FRAMYFILMS: I have curly hair. I straighten my hair almost every day because it's more manageable. Always straighten when wet. It always used to take me over an hour to straighten my hair, but now I have a GHD and it takes less than half an hour. You have to go over each section multiple times until it's straight, otherwise it will be frizzy. Try again and go over each section

maddy : 1. dont straighten your hair when its wet, it will make it fall out 2. section it off start with bottom half then slowly move up, if u do it correctly then it wont be frizzy 3. the steam coming off is good it actually means your hair is healthy

Khadeeja Amaru: You have beautiful hair! Some tips for you. The comb attachment on your hairdryer is your friend! Dry your wet hair in sections using that attachment, apply a heat protectant, gently combing through on low heat. Straighten in small sections, chasing with a rat tail comb (comb placed below flat iron), 1 or 2 passes to avoid any heat damage (you have hair similar to my cousin's and that is how I would always help her do hers.) Hope this helps

Tiffany P: It needs to be dry before you straighten it :) and always use a thermal protector spray to help from damaging your hair from heating tools (blow dryer or straightener).

Life with PWSD high school: i also have very curly hair so the trick to straitening it is first blowdrying it half way and letting it air dry the rest then section it and straighten only little pieces at a time. yes it takes a long time but sometimes it’s worth it

Hopeworld President: I have crazy curly hair and my hair goes down well when it's straightened. Because you did it while it's wet, your hair ended up damaged and poofy. You need to do it while it's dry for good results

Mags: Hey! So just to let you know, you should wait until your hair is completely dry before straightening it. If you straighten it while wet it damages your hair a ton. Your hair is very pretty curly though!

xxSpectrexx: If you decide to straighten it again I would really recommend doing it in section as a person with 4c hair it helps a lot, also if you don't like the sizzling sound you should straighten it while it's dry

skyssmile #quit: I love how confident Sabre has become. She’s grown so much, I’m so proud of her! I also love her interactions with us and her willingness to include us legends in everything. Love you Sab

yesitsmecatelynn: Make sure to put it in sections and make sure it dries before you straighten it! Also if you have a blow drying hair brush do that while it’s wet so it straightens while it’s drying and THEN straighten it ! So it’s not as frizzy because I have curly hair too!

Alexi: What I do is I section my hair into 4 parts and brush it out so it has no knots. I also put coconut oil in after I straighten it just so it’s smoother. I also don’t do it when it’s wet cause that’s when it gets the most damaged. I have the same type of hair and low key understand wanting it to be straight sometimes… :)

Stop and Smile: Oooo girl. When you get a good curly hair routine, moisturise, heat protect, dry it and straighten it your hair will be looking 100/10!

✨idk✨: Here's a tip though, don't EVER straighten your hair while it's wet, it will cause so much damage and it won't won't straighten properly What you want to do is blow-dry your hair then add a heat protectant THEN use the hair straightener, also do your hair in sections it'll make it much easier for you

CallMehOnion: The reason it was sizzling is because the hair was still wet. I have straightened my hair quiet a few times. It’s better when it’s dry. Also omg your hair is getting so long!

Kailee Renae: Extreme heat + water = steam, it’s also the reason it’s sizzling. First, put some heat protectant in your hair. Blow dry your hair while brushing it (slowly run the blow dryer behind the comb/brush), then straighten it. You can use hydrating oils to give it a shinier look, I honestly don’t think your hair is that damaged, it just looks kinda dry

Kay: Don’t straighten when it’s wet it has to be fully dry and do little pieces at a time. Also only work on certain sections at once. When ur working on a section clip the rest of them up. After your done your first section take another small chunk of hair out of the clip and start straightening that. And just repeat

J Harlin: I have curly hair but never had the patience to straighten it I always have it tied back So thank you so much Sabre for showing me

Arabella Briggs: Sabre if you want to straighten your hair I recommend massaging conditioner through it and then brushing it as it stops the frizzing I love you guys so much❤ u are amazing inspirational people and don’t stop what u are doing u are epic live u ❤❤

maysoon: It was sizzling because it was wet! i recommend blow drying it until it becomes dry and then straightening it after! i promise you’ll have better results, hope it helps ❤

Montserrat Villanueva: Since you have naturally curly hair always make sure to use a bigger straightener and like I said always remember to section your hair and always start from the top to bottom♥️

•𝖻𝗎𝖻𝖻𝗅𝖾𝗌•: The best way to do it is to grab a blow brush section your hair and pull not like hard pull but pull it in a way to make it straight also make sure your hair is damp while you use a blow brush because if it’s to wet it might be more hard to blow it out once your hair is frizzy and you use the flat iron to make it not frizzy and section it too while you flat iron it and also use heat damage spray so it doesn’t get damaged and boom straight hair if I said anything wrong correct me lol

NativeNYerChicHK: You have to fully blow dry it with a big round brush to get it as straight as possible. And only when it is *completely dry* do you use that straightener. Only doing one sliver sectioned out with a comb at a time, so all of your strands are getting clamped & heated enough to be straightened. Especially important for curly hair. And always always, always, always use heat protectant!! That’s how you limit the damage and have it result in a more straight smooth appearance.

Aybree Long: Try sectioning it and straightening you hair in smaller pieces, and don’t straighten your hair while it’s wet, not only will that damage you hair but it won’t completely straighten it. And invest in heat protectant and your good to go! Our hair types are very similar and it’s a very long process so take you time and be patien!!!

Karrr: I live straightening my hair!! My hair is VERYYYYYYY curly, and I wish I could help you!!! The most I’d say is that you should do it when it is dry! Edit: I’m also trying to study under cosmetology at school!! (Hair, nails, and makeup)

casey van praagh: hey sab, my friend has very much similar hair to you and you can get it professionally done by going to a salon i think you can choose to do it permanently for a while but this was just a tip. enjoy your day/night

Jessica Moores: Make sure you’re hair is dry and then pin up sections of the hair and straighten bits of the hair at a time

Lloer Gwilym: I have very curly hair like you and my tips are:use a grood heat protectant , section the hair into 2-4 parts and use a hair oil o and also use a comb and follow the come with the streightner xxx

Erin Reilly: Next time when you are straightening your hair you want to make sure that you hair is COMPLETELY dry and use heat protectant spray!! Love you sabre ❤️❤️❤️

Scarlett Murphy: It’s sizzling- your straightening your hair while it’s wet no wonder

shared account: My friend has large curly/ frizzy hair. Her at home attempts at straightning hair would always fail... she went to salon and they took time to show and teach us teenagers how to make it work/ last! use anti heat / frizz shampoo. Section dry hair with comb.. slowly part and straighten small, thin layers. Should take a while but will work...

Analeiah Jackson: Blow dry then straighten make sure ur hair isnt wet when straightening and add a heat protectant before doing any of this also when straightening do small sections of ur hair it helps and go over the section at least 2 times for better results

Keyana Murray: hey, I have curly hair too! and i've dyed it a lot lol also you really shouldn't straiten your hair while its wet, it could damage your hair a lot. also you should try to find a heat protectant spray and use it before you straiten your hair (your hair shouldn't be wet after you spray it, only a bit damp) my moms a cosmetologist so I kinda learned from her lol also I love your guy's videos! I'm a huge fan!

Reese: heres just some tips because i have really curly hair and i straighten it alot. 1. Dont straighten wet hair 2. use sections hope this helps

Isla: It looks very pretty ❤. If you do try to straighten your hair again though, it might be easier to start with it dry, then brush it and section in into small sections( I know from experience as I have curly hair and I often straighten it)

blair akaashi: hi sab! it’s sizzling bc you’re straightening your hair when it’s wet people straighten their hair when it’s dry. i also wanted to say that maybe try a blower (i’m not sure how you call it in australia im sorry ) where you use a hair dryer and i think a hot air comb it works best for people with curly hair i actually have curly and frizzy hair myself haha

shaylah howieson: tips- you want to part it into smaller sections and alway have dry hair before straightening

Troublemakertime 2.0: It was sizzling because you straightened it wet. That will burn your hair a lot easier than if you straightened it dry. Maybe next time try it when you’ve brushed it out dry, and used heat protection stuff on your hair. It probably won’t be near as frizzy and damaged. Just a couple tips so you don’t burn off your beautiful hair!!

Doris White: I've been able to dye mine, but I normally only dye my ends. The only way for it not to get damaged is to not dye your hair constantly.

Shahni Can: Just wanted to say that the reason it was sizzling is because your hair was wet!! <3

Corbin Garner: Okay next time u straighten your hair u should wash it, then use heat protection, then blow dry it to the point that it’s not at all wet and is just puffy but not fully straight, then you go in with the straightener and do small strands starting from the root and going straight down. Do this 2 times for most strands. Your hair won’t be frizzy if you do it this way. P.s if u want to change the color of your hair without damaging it, you should try hair wax

Ailye: Let it dry first then section it out and straighten it but make sure to use heat protectant for your hair so it doesn’t get as damaged

millieleaa: your hair will become so damaged and break off so easily if you keep straightening it whilst wet - make sure your hair is 10000% dry before you straighten it! <33

Cass Sam: Straighten it when its 100% dry and start from your roots. Also your curls are gorg pls do a curly hair routine❤️

Princess x: A tip I use when I'm straightening my curly hair is I use a hairdryer first and a brush to blow it out and after I use straighteners, to avoid more damage use a heat protector spray and it was sizzling bc ur hair was wet!! If ut gets damaged after use a hair mask on it and take extra care of ur hair don't straighten it too much!!

Lydia Green: Hey !! I have your hair type . You need to try give it a good blow dry first , brush you hair root to ends and hold the hairdryer against your hair (where your brushing ) as it goes down. Then give it a straighten ! Xxx Also use some heat protectant and a frizz ease sirum xxx

Monkey xD: When u straighten ur hair it’s better to section ur hair and straighten it dry, after every slow straighten go fast over it a couple times then lightly spray hair spray over it make sure it’s not to stiff

Maddie Mae: Here is a couple tips. Flat iron it when it’s dry and use hairspray before straightening it

Amanda Cairo: It sizzled cause your hair was wet! That’s also why it got so damaged. You need a heat protectant. Dry your hair while brushing it out, apply heat protectant (not a crazy amount) to the section you’re straightening, and then straighten that section and so on.

*•coconut•aesthetics•*: I have hair exactly like yours and I'm just gonna say it's way less poofy if you don't blow dry it, just let it dry naturally! When it's dry you can straighten it slowly :D

Milkymous: wait til your hair is dry and use heat protection spray and it will work so much better❤️

I love anime: My hair is as curly as yours and it took the stylist 2 hours and a lost of steam to finish it the room got so hot it was not a good feeling but TOTALLY WORTH IT

Angelina G: Using a good heat protectant and straightening when the hair is fully dry will help prevent damage

Your mom: The sizzling is bc your burning your hair, your not supposed to straighten your hair when it’s wet Here is what i do - brush my hair so there’s no knots - part my hair into small sections - and then just staighten my hair as normal ! Also i would recommend using some kind of heat damaging cream or smt so you won’t damage your curls

⚡️k3nzii3⚡️- almost at 200! Tysm!: I’d recommend not straightening it when it’s wet because that’s why it sizzles. Steam is normal but just wait a little u til your hair dries hen start straightening it! <3

panic_to_not_try: I'm a black person with very tight curly hair. Tips for straightening: 1. Stretch dry your hair better straightening. Stretch dry is basically just taking a blow dryer and a comb of brush, take sections of hair and dry them while lightly combing the hair. 2. Your hair sizzles because it had a lot of water in it. Think about if you drip water onto a hit frying pan, same thing, if your hair is dry and it sizzles THEN you should worry. 3. A heat protecting spray may be helpful to avoid damaging your hair. 4. Your hair wasn't necessarily damaged, it was just unevenly straight and curly and frizzy making it appear certain parts are damaged. I love seeing you experiment with you look, keep going you're doing amazing of trying to find yourself.

none of ur business: try straightening when it’s dry, straightening when wet can damage you hair <3

Jaidalynn Miranda: never straighten ur hair when it’s wait it damages ur hair badly , blow dry your hair till dry then straighten it , it takes longer but keeps ur hair from massive damage

SunnyzEditz: Girl I feel you so much my hair is like naturally curly curly curly like it is very curly and whenever I try to straighten my hair my hair friezes up to it like gets poofy

{x.o.x.o..e.v.i.e}: i also have curly hair, but i have another way to straighten it! basically i have this hair dryer and it has a brush on the end so i user that to get out all the knots and makes it kinda straight. finally, i use the straightener to do the finishing touches! hope this helped! xoxo

Terene Oosthuizen: Hey Sabra Quick tip: Next time you should blow dry your hair first and then go with the straightener. Love from South Africa ❤️

rossyyt: try letting it dry and then sectioning it to straighten it you’ll have better results

Rachel Pelton: It's frizzy and sizzling because you straightened it while wet. I'm pretty sure that causes more damage too. Try it completely and section it off before you straighten

Marie: I have really curly hair and I have dyed it. If you want to dye your hair, use a semipermanent to see if you even like the idea. Also, it was steaming and sizzling because it was wet. I don't mean to sound rude but, you need to use heat protection. And don't EVER, straighten your hair when it's wet. You'll absolutely ruin your hair. No hate <3

sisi_ no_name: Next time try to dry all of your hair first so that it doesn’t come out damaged. Also another tip is to part your hair horizontally from the bottom and pull the rest of the hair up. Then go from bottom to top straightening it. I only know this because I also have really curly hair and always straighten it. Hope this helps

kayla strickland: Aww poor sab, well it sizzled bc your straightening it when its wet, everyone hairs sizzles if wet, and make sure to spray in heat treatment so it doesnt damage your hair as much, you can find it in any shop in the hair products section!!!!Luv y'all btw❤

A V E R I: Make sure to straighten when it’s dry!

Anja Douglas: Oh my gosh I think Sockie and Sabre look a like with straight hair!

Elisha someones: If you want to achieve straight hair use a blow out brush dryer first, apply some heat protectant spray and then use a hair straighter but do it in smaller segments

Parker McCoy: Whenever you go to the hairdressers to get a hair cut, you should ask them to style your hair straight and then will professionally straighten your hair and I bet it won’t be frizzy and will be gorgeous!!

Juliana Walker: It looks amazing both ways❤️❤️

Julia Ising: I have curly hair too make sure ur using heat protectant also whilst blowdrying stretch out your hair and make sure it's 100% dry before using the iron and whilst using the iron take a comb and follow the comb with the straighteners if that makes sense

Gianna Gross: you should try it again when it's dry! doing sections fr top to bottom e would probably help too!

It’s ya girl Kay: Sabre, I also have curly hair and you would have to put heat protection so it doesn’t get damaged and then u blow try ur hair and after u straighten it. Hope this helps!

Honey Bee: Wow! Sabre doesn’t realise how beautiful she is, she can rock anything curly, straight, softy, goth, indie literally anything and she looks beautiful in everything she’s such a nice honest relatable and funny personality I love her

Ochaco Uraraka: I have curly hair and I’ve dyed it before. If you go to a professional that knows how to take care of curly hair then they’ll be able to dye it right. But yes you can dye curly hair!

Alisurf!☻︎: Blow dry ur hair first + hair care then put in a heat protector once it's dry for better results (the heat protector will sizzle and steam)

The shows: New subscriber!!!!!!!! Thanks for making my day with this!!!

brian issermoyer: Make sure it is dry then put it in smaller sections… it will come out really nice

Leyla Sayers: sabre has grown up so much ,can we just appreciate how much sab.tries on these videos just to make us legends happy !!!

Lily x: dont straighten your hair when its wet because then it could get damaged, leaving some parts straight and unable to curl back x

Emili Sanderson: Ok so the sizzling it's because your hair was super wet and it was trying to sizzle the water out and make it straight. As far as it still kinda being poofy Sabe definitely do Little/ Smaller strands of hair. It's also easier to have someone help you with having as much hair as you do. Trust me girlll! My hair was down to my butt. Hope this helps

saraintheskies: Hey Sabre! A Quick tip is that straightning your hair when its wet ruins The hair Anyways i love you your a gorgeous woman!❤

your.Fav.Brunette_xx: to stop the sizzling you will need to dry your hair all the way bc if it’s wet it will just fry of and sizzle xx

it’s jxssica: Honestly I can relate Sabre! My hair is exactly like yours except very thick so it goes super frizzy when I straighten it but I love it curled and your hair is so beautiful ❤

Nicole clarke: Tips for sabre- dry your hair Do not straighten wet And + heat protector

Mara: Girlfriend- Please make sure your hair is dry first- & add a heat protectant spray- Also straighten in thinner sections, for a better outcome.

♡Miss Virtuosity♡: Girl, you hair is still not straight but I love how it turned out frizzy
