Hey guys today, I'm gon na do this. This is a really quick tutorial. I'M gon na show you how I do my hair like this. Quite a lot of you have been requesting it. I'Ve been wearing this quite a lot, because it's so quick and so easy, and I tend to get a few days wear out of it and it almost looks better like the day after it kind of it. Where is really really well, I've been wearing it. A lot of like Instagram and tons of you have been messaging me to ask how I do it really simple. All you need is some kind of a straightening Tom. What are these called iron straightening iron? I'Ve got a GHD hood, I'm sure any any of them will work. So if you would like to see how I get this look, then just keep on watching. So I am starting this with damp hair. I'M just gon na take it out of my little turban. Thingy and loosen it all up, and the first thing I'm gon na do - is pop in some of the Aveda volumizing spray volumizing tonic. I think it's called sorry. My camera did not focused on it properly and I'm just gon na spray. This into the roots of my hair - and this just does exactly what it says on the tin: it adds an extra bit of volume and lift to the roots of the hair and then I'm taking a big paddle brush. This is a wet brush from scud-c, really great, really flexible bristles, so it doesn't like yank at my hair and I'm just gon na comb, my hair through and comb that product through and next up is to dry your hair. And yes, I have one of the Dyson hair dryers, they are obscenely expensive, but I love it. I absolutely love it. I don't know what it is about it. It'S just really really lightweight it drives my hair super quickly. I don't know it really is like a nice design to hold anyway crazy expensive, if you can afford one great, if not any old hair dryer will do - and I am just drawing my hair in a bunch of different directions - kind of tossing it. This way in that way, so that I get optimum volume, you can do the old turn your head upside down trick. Whatever works for you, so Harry's dry first thing, I'm gon na do after brushing it through is section it. So I usually have to section my hair into three because I have a surprisingly large amount of hair, so I'm going to just kind of go from the tops of the ears back. This is super simple. If you can do GHD curls at all, you can definitely this just take about stuff about one-inch section and because it's like the type of waves that I'm going for I'm gon na curl, my hair, all in the same direction. So I'm all gon na I'm gon na curl every section away from my face, so I kind of grab it curl, it pull it and then let it go that did not work so you're clamping, the hair, turning it once in my case, because my hair is Quite short and then just pulling it a little bit and then letting go so yeah there you go so I'm not pulling it through the entire way to the very end of your hair, and that way you get that kind of straighter end and just a bend In the middle, it looks a little bit more modern than curling it the whole way through and also added bonus of, not frying. The ends of your hair, and I like to just take the sections, I've curled and then twist them in the direction. I'Ve curled them and then just clip them out of the way. I just have these little crocodile clips. I used to do that really and then these, like really ratty bits at the end, I'm not too worried by them, because really nobody sees them as long as they have a bit of a kind of a bit of movement in them. Just don't burn yourself just kind of push it into position and then I will spray it and right now, I'm using the label. Em hairspray, this just says: label em, hairspray doesn't say what type it is. I like this because it's not a super strong hairspray. It'S really fine, so your hair still feels like quite soft and touchable. It doesn't feel crunchy afterwards. Now I'm gon na clip this hair. That'S been curled. Just with these long clips, I'm literally just going to clamp it out of the way, because I get confused when there's too much hair and I don't know - what's been curled and what's not so just keeps it a little bit more organized for me and I'm gon Na section again kind of coming around my temples, the longer bits are easier to do so again, we'll take like one inch section, clamp it near the roots twist it away from the face and then just pull it straight out away from the head. Hey there, you go okay, cool we're done so I'll just take. I thought, let's clip one clip these ones, one last all right and then the next step is probably the most important and that is to walk away. Don'T touch your hair until it has completely cool down. I'M gon na go make myself a cup of tea and I will be back in ten minutes. Okay, I've waited about 10 minutes. My hair feels cool to the touch so the next step. It'S kind of up to you, you can either just use your fingers and shake it out if you want it to be a little bit kind of more like tussles and like PC, but I prefer mine to be a little bit kind of smoother. So I do tend to brush it, and I find this kind of it takes some of the curl out of it as well. So you end up with more of like that. Just that bend in your hair, which is what I'm after and because we curl the hair all in the same direction. It'S it has that real kind of uniform, like almost like hairpin Bend. You saw what that word is no like that. No, I don't know what I'm talking about and then I'm just going to pipe in some dry shampoo. I like to put this in, even though my hair is fresh. You watch just because just adds like an extra bit of fluffiness and it helps to maintain my hair throughout the day, like my hair would actually get oily in the space of a few hours. So it's kind of prevention, I'm using the chlorine dry shampoo. By the way, that's my new favorite. I find the batiste was giving me like really bad dermatitis on my scalp, so the chlorine is a lot more gentle, okay, okay, okay, let's hold up for a second! I feel the need to interrupt this tutorial. You may have noticed. In fact, I will wager that some of you have even already commented about how bushy the ends of my hair. Are. I made a mistake. While I was filming this tutorial, I had my hair open that turban thing for probably like four or five hours recording a tutorial and it kind of it dried too much. So then, when I went to blow-dry it, it was difficult to make it very sleek. So I would say, when you're drying, your hair, make sure you really do kind of smooth down those ends because you're not using the curling or the GHD through the ends of your hair. So the ends will end up looking a little bit like frazzled. If you haven't taken care to smooth them down, just wanted to put that information in there do not make the same mistake. I did to do take care when you're blow-drying your hair, okay back to the tutorial. That is the finished hairstyle. So obviously you can do this like flip. If you wanted to do a side part - or you can do its center part of like this - and I just think it's like a really kind of funky modern way of curling, her hair with the GHD. So I really really hope you enjoyed that quick tutorial and if you did give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to my channel and yes, the makeup tutorial for this look is already up and I'll. Have that linked in a card and in the description box actually should be on the screen here somewhere. So thank you so much for watching, I hope, you're having an amazing day, and I will see you very soon - bye

Tracy Montgomery: Loving my daily dose of Sharon!! I have a similar style haircut (but with a fringe) and have been wanting to try the 'kink' instead of keeping it dead straight, so this video has fired me up and I'm going to give it a go tomorrow. Thanks Sharon x

P Kell: Love it Sharon! I just curled my hair with a Ghd the old fashioned way this morning as off work and feeling like preening myself! I will try this next time as it looks way cooler and less preened! Loving VEDA I am already worried about September I will have DT's I've only just gotten over the vlogmas DT's!!

Belly Dancing Poet: Finally someone who does tutorials in an endearing and captivating way! ❤️ I watch tutorials for the obvious reason (getting help with hairstyles) but can never relate to the women doing them. How I appreciate your laid back, genuine and humouristic way to do it. (Maybe it was the Irish accent that completely blew me away also...) Thank you!

m1791 w: I love this look! ....and your ends look good with the added texture.

Pixalicious: OK how have I never thought of using my long clips on the hair I've already curled? Sharon you are a genius, I am so stealing that idea.

The Makeup Place: Yes Sharon Hair Pinned Bend in your hair is a thing as I used to do it for years. I'm loving your Veda Series, I love that I get to watch a video of yours everyday lol. From Sarah

Kate fromaust: Very pretty! Thank you for that. You provided exactly the information that I was after.

Shreya Sharma: Please do a decluttering video! It would be so fun to watch!

ZombieJill: As an August baby, I'm just going to consider VEDA a month-long birthday present. lol Wonderful video as always, Sharon! Thank you!

Rachel Padilla: Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for

Kelly Scott: Batiste was giving me a HORRIBLE rash and painful lesions on my scalp and neck. On your rec, switched to Klorane, and it almost immediately cleared up. Thank you!

Kristen Kidd: I have been watching so many hair tutorials lately trying to get wavy hair. I have not come across one person clipping the Hair pieces up after they've been curled to keep them out of the way, or clipping the curly hair all back once moving to the next layer. So naturally, I never thought to do this myself and ALWAYS get frustrated because I can't keep track of what hair pieces are done and what isn't. So Im looking for all my hair clips right now so I can do this and hopefully not get frustrated to the point of quitting. Thanks for the idea and the easy and clear tutorial!

JanisSmithe: Being a generation older than you, I like big, fluffy, voluminous (but not damaged or frizzy!) hair, so I'm feeling the fluffier version of the original video before the cut in. :D You kids and your sleek hair...

czarszka: I love VEDA sooooo much! Daily Sharon - exactly what i need :D

Sarah McNeice: I like the ends of your hair like that, it goes with the tousled look. Have you tried curling the top section first and leaving it pinned up as you work through the other sections? Xx

lindsey culkin: do you ever curl your hair with a wand or iron? or is this your preferred way?

Sharon Aviram: Such a gorgeous hairstyle!!!! Please do a hair care video, how do you keep your hair healthy even tho you're using heat?

Paloma Cárdenas: Loved the tutorial...I'm going to recreate ASAP because I'm have the same haircut as you... I noticed too that Batiste caused me dermatitis in my scalp... I'm going to try the Klorane, have you noticed if is much better? thanxxx!!! love your videos!

IrishRose.: Totally gonna do this for tomorrow night :) Also, I find Boots own brand dry shampoo better than batiste. Does anyone else use it? And it's only €2!

ohaipatricia: your haircolour is amazing!!!

MomNMe Beauty: This is a great hairstyle for me, too! My hair is about the same length as yours, just not as full. I just don't have as full a head of hair as you have.

Stacey Gamble: I actually liked the textured ends on your hair. Made it look less "done". But know what you mean. Loving Veda!

Hailie Feltz: Thank you for this video!

2112: Yay! I was scared you weren't doing a vid today. Loving veda. Great tutorial!

Zelda de Beer: Hi, I just saw your video now talking about the Dyson hair dryer. I have the exact one, my husband bought it as a birthday gift and it lasted exactly 3 years. It is insanely expensive and was the biggest disappointment for me that it starting giving problems, first all the attachments started flying off as soon as I used it, then I taped it on to use attachments. This happened 1 year in to using my Dyson and then October 2021 it stopped working...@dyson I am not the only one this has happened to. I'm in South Africa to get assistance from Dyson proved to be a challenge....not worth it.

kathy O'Brien: Looks fantastic

kathy O'Brien: Looks fantastic

Helen: I have an old school GHD (I mean circa 2004) that's still going strong but it will not do curls no matter what I do. It just doesn't pass through the hair as easily as it does when I straighten it. It's so strange!

francheska-rose castaneda closa: Finally!! thank you for this videooo <3

77 77: I love this style and i love her accent!

Joanne Vasquez: You are so helpful

Kirsten Leslie: Can also smooth ends down with some hair oil!

Robin McMahon: I kind of liked the bushy ends!

Heidi Dewhirst: love bushy hair!!

MsSpark111: Loved the tropical Hawaiian background music in the video

Brenda Barraza: Lol still thought it was a great tut!! Love you Sharon

Caitlin Endler: Love your makeup in the interruption but ❤️

Elaine Bines: great tips

Naomi MUA: Love love love

Gwen Loughman: So my husband got me a dyson for Christmas and I almost vomited at the cost!   Then I discovered I hated the thing!  Couldn't get on board with it at all.   Kept wondering what the dramarama surrounding it was about.   I may or may not have wished it was dyson hoover instead.  But ssshhh!  I packed it back up into its lovely bosca and compleeeeetly forgot all about it until you pulled out yours!   I just might give it another whirl!

Kitty Fuggle-Hops: KIND OF IN LOVE WITH THE MUSIC USED!!!!

Jaki Botham: Do your ghd straighteners become hot on the outside?

Lexi Awesomes: painting tutorial... wet n wild tutu (not sure if you tried their photo focus foundation) fashion tutu tutu on liner for hooded eyes

Birdie Stheno: I kinda like the fluffy ends

Angelika King: Does anyone know which ghd she is using? I, too have the old one an it does not go smoothly when I curl. It drives me crazy. I thought Tha it is worn out, until I read some comments...

WithMetta: I love you but I have to say that I think the cost of that Dyson is insane and maybe obscene. I hope they gave it to you and that you didn't buy it!

The Girl With Dust On Her Face loudly_positive: That did not work, heehee! I so loved that part!!!

m s gkinou:

tyrannhosaur: YES! you're the only other person i've ever seen have a reaction to batiste! horrible stuff.

Melanie Bremner: Where is the makeup look? :( I love it!!

Olivia B: can you make a video reviewing vegan all natural cosmetics brands? i'm trying to find something that works for my sensitive skin and need some help! like the brands: beauty by earth, elate clean cosmetics, & 100% pure? just like foundations, moisturizers, toners etc? Thanks!!!!

Haley: Is that Ashley Tisdale in the thumbnail lol

Chelsey Sunderland: Love your videos, always, but not a fan of this hairstyle. Looks to me like it was straight and then put into a ponytail for a few hours and taken back down. But, what do I know of trends? I have naturally curly hair so it's not something I'd try anyhow.

Monika Trombik: Kisses from Poland! x

Jenn Morrison: Title says 5 minutes...description says "about 10 minutes"...video is time lapsed. Not cool. I'd bet this takes 20-30 minutes and you think we're stupid.
