How I Curl Hair With Flat Iron | Tymo Sway Straightener Review

Hi everyone welcome back to my youtube channel, it's rachel. So if you haven't noticed already, i have chopped off my hair recently and since i have short hair now, i've been experimenting with different ways to styling it. So in today's video i'm going to be styling it on camera, with you guys today and i'm going to be using the taimo suede hair straightener to curl my hair, and this video is sponsored by taimo. So i'm going to be sharing a little bit more about this product afterwards, so i just plugged in my straightener - and this is really cool - how there is like a digital panel here, where you can see the temperature of the straightener so on the packaging. It does take 30 seconds to fully heat up the straightener, but since i set my straightener to 350 degrees and this straightener actually goes up to 450 degrees, it took a little bit less time than that and then you'll just hear like a little beep sound when It'S ready so before i apply any heat to my hair, i always use a heat protectant. I usually just focus spraying this on the ends of my hair, where it's the most damaged and by the way. This is how my hair normally looks when it's air dried. So you can obviously use a straightener to straighten your hair and to curl your hair, but since my hair is naturally pretty straight um, i'm just going to be curling it today. So i like to start off by sectioning my hair and taking the top half and clipping it up first. So, starting from the back i like to take about like a one inch strand and then i'm gon na curl it away from my face and then i'm not going to pull it all the way out. I'M just going to like leave the ends out because, oh that was hot, i'm just going to leave the ends out because i feel like it looks a little bit better when the ends are straight and then i just repeat this process throughout the rest of my Hair, starting from the back and working my way towards the front, i curl all of the strands away from my face and leave about a one inch at the end. No one can do it like you tell me what you i'm just getting started with you. That'S all i need now, i'm gon na deal with and i'm gon na section when i was going home alone. I can't get enough sunday love, that's all i need that's all. I need, don't stop, don't stop. Don'T stop, don't stop cause. I can't that's all. I need that's space makes me sad, cuz feeling like pluto, you already knew okay, so this is how it turned out. I'M really happy with the result and how easy it was to curl my hair with this straightener, it's so much easier than using a curling wand. I really love how smooth and shiny my hair looks after using the straightener to curl my hair and not to mention it was super easy to use and it only took like 10 minutes. This is the taimou sway straightener, and this is one of their premium flat. Irons, that are one inch the plates are made from nano titanium. So it's supposed to leave your hair, smooth and shiny, and it definitely left my hair pretty smooth and shiny without adding like any other product to my hair, besides heat protectant, so this straightener, as you saw earlier, had a little screen here. This is the lcd display and it displays the different temperature settings. So when you plug this in it will light up, blue and you'll actually see the temperature number rising as it's heating up, and the temperature here goes from 140 degrees fahrenheit to 450 degrees fahrenheit. So it has a pretty big range that you can set your temperature to, which is really nice for different hair types. If you have like thinner, hair or thicker hair, you might need to adjust your settings or, if you just have more damaged hair. I would say my hair types somewhere in the middle - it's not very thick, but it's not that thin either. So i like to set it to 350 degrees fahrenheit right now - and this is like my natural hair up to here, so i've been trying to grow it out, so i feel a little bit better about applying more heat to natural hair. But when i did get my hair, bleached and stuff, i would try to use like a lower heat setting. So i really like the fact that this tool, you can adjust your temperature accordingly, because in the future, if i end up bleaching my hair again, i'm definitely going to need to use a lower temperature setting this tool also has a temperature memory, so whatever you set, It to once you unplug it and you plug it in the next time. It will remember what temperature you set it to last time, so you don't always have to reset your temperature every time this product also features this swivel cord. So it's easy to maneuver around when, especially when you're curling your hair, not to mention this cord is quite long. I think it's about three meters long, so i really like the fact that this tool came with a long cord. So if my sock is like on the wall farther away, i don't have to like stand or sit right beside the wall plug, so this straightener actually came with this packaging here. This is a little travel bag, pouch that you can use to store your flat iron. Like this, i thought this was genius idea. I'Ve never seen a pouch like this. I don't know if other brands make it like this, but i really like the fact that it came with a pouch and also this pouch is kind of thick. So it's kind of heat resistant so right now my iron hasn't really fully cooled yet. So, if i put on this pouch, i can grab it no problem and i won't burn myself. Packaging came like this. There is a little magnetic closure and i'm actually going to keep this box just to store my um, my straightener in here, because the box is pretty well built, but this package came with a glove. I don't usually use gloves with straighteners, but it came with a glove anyway. So if you're a beginner or you just prefer using gloves, you can always do that and it also came with two hair clips. So these are the two hair clips that i was using earlier when i was sectioning my hair off, so a really convenient that this came with the two hair clips already so overall, really like this product. I think it was a really well designed, straightener and very versatile for different hair types because of the huge range of temperature setting and it came with some nice and convenient accessories that i think will be really useful as well.
