Hey guys! Today's video is a beachy waves hair tutorial for short hair! This fast beach wave hairstyle for short hair literally takes 5-10 mins and I got these easy beach waves with a curling wand! I got so many questions on how I get my effortless beachy hairstyle on my new short hair and I decided to do this vid to help some of you guys out! That video goes more in depth on how to curl hair with a straightener and curling wand for more defined curls and this video shows you how to get the more relaxed beachy waves on short hair! Hey everyone, its Brittany, welcome back to my channel. Today'S video is a beachy hairstyle for short hair. It is super easy. It literally takes like less than ten minutes and the same technique can be used on any length hair before we get started with the tutorial. So I feel like the key to having natural-looking beachy waves for Shore hair or any length hair is how you let it dry in the first place, so I always say that it's best to work with hair that has dried naturally, and you kind of just want To work with the texture that you already have, so if you already have a pretty wavy texture, naturally, then that's great! You should definitely work with it, because it'll help you out so much. But if you do have a naturally straight hair, I do recommend using a beach spray or some sort of texturizing spray or mousse, because it'll help give your hair a lot more texture and that's basically what you're looking for for beachy hair and I do have a Video showing you guys how to curl your hair with a straightener as well as a curling wand. Just so, it goes a little bit more in-depth and I will have it linked above on this video up here and you guys can click on it and check it out. But the look that we're going for today is a little bit Messier and more effortless. So I'm going to be using a curling wand because it is pretty much the easiest one to use for everybody. I really like new me for styling tools. I always like to use a thirty two millimeter, no matter how long my hair is or short. Obviously, it's really short right now, but I really like this one, especially for the beachy waves, because a bigger barrel will give you loose waves, which is what we are going for. It'S part of their new precious metals collection. They did send me this. This video isn't sponsored or anything. I just really really love it. There, hair products and styling tools that really good. So I like to start on the front part of my face and I'll take a pretty small section and all of the hair around my face will be curled away from my face, because I think it's more flattering that way and I'll take the curling iron and I'Ll hold it slightly on an angle, and then I will wrap it away from my face only about once, because I like to leave at this bottom end out, because I like the ends to be a little bit straighter and I'll just hold it on. For a few seconds to get the curl and that's what it looks like and I like to curl some of them towards my face just to give a different variety of texture and I'll wrap it once and I'll leave the bottom end out again, because I just Like that, look I like to work on the top section of my hair first and then I will grab random pieces from underneath just to make sure you get that kind of Bend all the way through your hair. But I do like to have some of my hair still kind of straight just to give different texture. Now, I'm just grabbing random pieces from the bottom section of my hair and curling them in a bunch of different directions. Another thing to notice is, I don't wrap the hair very close to itself, so I'll keep a huge distance between the top part or like closer to the roots, and then the ends of my hair. That will just make sure that it's not a tight curl or the other side. I like to hold it with the same hand and then just slightly wrap the hair around the curling wand for a couple seconds and again on the front pieces of your hair. On your face, I just like to curl it away from my face because I feel like it's more flattering that way, so here are both sides of my hair done it with the beachy wave. Sometimes I will add a little bit more texture, spray or hairspray just to keep the texture in my hair so that it doesn't totally fall flat and it stays looking beachy and messy. So this is the final beachy hairstyle for short hair.
