5 Easy Flat Iron Curls : Traditional, Bantu Knots, Kinky, S-Curl/Wavy, Spiral

Happy New Year!! Here are five ways to curl your extensions or real hair with flat irons. These are some easy curls, waves, corkscrews and kinks. I did this on my wig that I just recently made. If you would like to see me do any of these on a full head, please let me know.
1. 00:08 Traditional Curl - On a small section of hair, clamp the flat iron down, rotate it 360 degrees and rotate it slowly as you go down.
2. 00:42 Bantu Knot - Make a bantu knot in your hair and pass the flat iron over it for some wild curls.
3. 01:40 Kinky Curl - Get a round wooden dowel that is 3/16 inches in diameter, wrap your hair around it and then pass the flat iron over your hair.
4. 02:24 S- Curl - Tape two dowels together, pass your hair in between the two, wrap it around a dowel, back to the middle, around the other and keep alternating until the hair is wrapped. Pass the flat iron over it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phuk7F...
5. 03:39 Tight Spiral Curl - Grab the dowels that are taped together and wrap your hair around them. Pass the flat iron over your hair and you will get a curling wand effect.

To make traditional flat iron curls, you want to grab a small section of hair. First, we're going to spray our hair with our Chi 44 iron guard, clamp your flat iron at the root of the hair, rotate the flat iron about 360 degrees and rotate it going down. You can use your other hand to hold the ends just as a guide for your flat iron. Take a bit of look at this curl and there you have it next up - is the bond to not so we're going to twist our hair, just like a bunt or not there's our bond to not you're just gon na. Do this number? That'S all! For about 20 seconds kind of work, it like a wrench, do not keep your flat iron stationary, keep it moving either sliding or rotating just keep touching it when it feels really good and hot. Then it's ready. You here comes the easy part we are going to use wooden round dowels. I think that's how you pronounce them, and I am going to use these to do my kinky curls wrap going down. Okay, there we go much like the bunch of knots. You just want to slide it across twist it around until it feels good and hot slide it down now using two wooden dowels that are taped together at the ends. Instead of one, we are going to do like an S. Curl we're going to go through the middle, come close to the top, and that will make it easy for you. Bring your hair through. Go up. Bring your hair through down bring your hair through up bring your hair through down up up and up down up now. Okay, that's enough! So now what we're going to do is just kind of clampdown on it as we go up and down light it up. There'S your little S, Curl we're going to do something like wand curls, so we're going to wrap around both the dowels eat. It up real good, you know, clamp, it slide it. If you have to okay, it's hot enough, perfect spiral.

Victoria Snow: I always do the first one and it u brush your hair out and twist it at the end it is not as frizzy. Plus the fake hair isn't greasy like your natural hair so it doesn't frizz as much (for me)

Taliesin: I love the perfect spiral, but my hair would resist that, they are like a wire. Thick and they have a slite natural wave. If I make the bantu knot and keep it for a whole knight even if I started with wet hair, it will hold for about two hours. There´s no hair spray strong enough to hold it, I haven´t try a glue yet.:-)
