Hi, I'm Justine fashion blogger for be beautiful. Today, I'm going to show you something very fun and absolutely easy to do, which is a braided headband. Now I love using headbands and headbands are also very in fashion this season. You literally need absolutely nothing for this DIY. You know, I'm sure you all of you have this at home. Any old t-shirt could pay for wear candle a pair of scissors fabric glue needle and thread to start off, for we have to snip this bottom of the t-shirt. You know whether hem and the stitching is just snip that off get rid of it. We'Ve gotten rid of this. Take about roughly an inch or an inch and a half. Don'T again, don't worry about the measurements. It don't have to be very specific. You'Ve cut off this chunk. We basically have two strips now to braid it. We obviously need a third strand as well, so cut one more inch like that cut this end off now you have three such strips literally of your t-shirt. Now what we need to do is we will be sewing these together. Basic running stitch is more than enough. Just like any other stitch, don't forget to loop it, so the stitch doesn't come out. So these three are joined together. Did this stitch and we cut it off now, the heavy object comes into place, placing this we have to pull these t-shirts, so pull these strips nicely. So it gives you this rounded sort of effect. You know with the t-shirt, and now you simply start making a regular braid that you do with your hair. You can make it tight. You can make it loose based on what sort of thickness you're looking at I'm doing like a medium size, not too tight, not too loose, so you keep going down all the way. Just like that. Now you just hold this loop, it around your head, like that and measure sort of what roughly, what size you need now remember. T-Shirt is fairly stretchy, so you want to keep a tighter measurement for yourself now, I'm just joining these two ends pretty much like that. That'S the measurement I came to when I looped it around my head. You round it off. He knot it at the end and finish it just like that, and you cut across I'm going to take a little of that t-shirt and sew it like that. You know just to make it a little neat cut off. This extra can even cut off this extra or leave it. Whichever way, I'm going to cut it off so yours, your hairband, no waiting, no, nothing! It'S really as simple as that um, since I already have this hairdo I'm going to do something fun with it. You can wear it as a regular hairband, but I honestly want to go ahead and do this and yeah. I think it looks cool um. A lot of people keep asking me what I do for my hair. So at this point, I'd like to say that one of my favorite products is certainly the Tresemme keratin smooth for straight hair, because I have straight hair naturally, and it keeps my hair very manageable. You know because of the length and everything so I like this. It obviously comes with its own conditioner, which I like as well, because it's again something that keeps it soft without making my hair greasy really because I color my hair a lot. I really it tends to look a little dry and damaged, so I like to use the Toni & Guy serum, the shine gloss serum because it adds a little shine, a little more softness to my hair. And you know it doesn't look greasy at all. But it doesn't look dry and damaged, so I definitely hope you liked this DIY and you try it at home. Try it in different combinations and do like to share it with your friends. If you like this video and subscribe to be beautiful and do tune in for more, you,
