Hello Jonathan, here with central sound today, we have a pair of Beats Studio 2 wireless headphones today, we're gon na replace the headband pad. As you can see, it's scratched up, it's damaged. Sometimes they break off in the hinge right around this area and it seems to be a common problem with the studio, 2 wired and wireless. Also, the studio 3 right here, there's Torx screws holding the headband to the hinge. That'S the only thing connecting the headband to the hinge. We'Re gon na go ahead and get started. Unscrewing the Torx screws, it's a t5 Torx driver is the size you'll need now that those are removed. The hinges slide off. There'S a rubber piece right there. It kind of just comes right off peel a little bit of it up and then you could pull it off. There might be a little bit of adhesive, but it should come off easily, there's tabs on the end of each side. As you can see here, those go in the hinge piece we'll go over that later on now you can see that there's a padding here and that padding just comes right off there's little clips and you can gently just pry it with a pry tool or your Fingernail some adhesive still stuck to it and the headband this kind of comes right off, there's the old one. It has certainly seen better days get that out of here. Here'S the new replacement headband, which we sell at Central Sound. It'S a kit. It comes with replacement screws and the t5 Torx driver which you'll need these screws go with this headband. There'S a plastic coating on there to protect it still. If you need parts by now at the link below also don't forget to subscribe to our Channel, the wire just goes right in the crevice there. You just line that up the padding just clips right in there, so you go ahead and line that up put some pressure all the way around you'll feel it clipping into place. That'S how it should look. Now you put the rubber piece back into place and that also just kind of slides into place doesn't take too much effort. You want to make sure that the hinges are still disconnected on both sides. Just like that. Okay, you also want to line it up. Those tabs up like this put the wire in between the gap in the middle. It'S a little tricky this part once the tabs are lined up and in place. It will just slide right in pretty easily just like that. That'S how it should look, go ahead and install the screws now that that's done it should line up and everything should be flush. It should look just like this. On the inside now we're gon na do the other side. This is how it should look and how it should be lined up. The rubber piece should look just like that wire in the middle and it slides in just like that, and now you can put the screws in. I remember these are the replacement screws that came with the band that need to be used, and this is how it looks when it's completed now. Last thing you want to do is take the plastic coating off the headband gives it a new look to an old beat-up pair of headphones. Tony F: Thank you! It was a very useful tutorial. I was able to replace my broken headphone's band for less than $20.

mholman75: Thanks for the tutorial! Huge help in replacing my headband on my beats. Cheers sir!

Claire Magee: I was so bummed when my headpiece snapped, and was skeptical when I found this store on Etsy that sold the replacement part. The replacement part looked identical to the old crystal blue headpiece and this YouTube video couldn’t have made it easier. Not to mention it came with the necessary screwdriver and another set of screws. I think I may buy an extra headpiece in case I snap it again!

Dulce María: Thank you so much for your help, sir!

G STINTS: Hey! Im wanting to fix my headphones and came across this amazing video so thank you! However, do you know if your Replacement band (the one from the link in your bio) would fix Beats Studio Wireless? I can't see anywhere that'll let me know if they're the same headband or not! Thanks again

Elchanan shuky Shukrun: Thanks! Really helpful :)

Daniel 63: Nice that's cool how you did that easy fix now I know what to do next time how to fix mine headset. Thanks for your help.

I'm the least handy person I know, but I found your video randomly and figured that it was worth a shot to try, so I bought the spare part. Well, I'm currently listening to my fixed S3 Beats, thanks to this video. It was so easy to follow and so worth it to try. THANK YOU.

Akashi: Omg I’ve had my headphones laying around and I coulda been using them this whole time

J U L I E: Hi, are the studio 2 and 3 headbands thesame?
