Review: Pro Hair Tie - Hit Or Miss?

All right, so i just wanted to hop on and do a quick review of the pro hair ties um. This is not gon na be the best review, because i actually got these a long time ago. It'S been well over a year that i got these, but i wanted to hold off on giving a review, because i wanted to see kind of like how they held up. So i could give kind of like the best review possible for like how they hold up over time um. So i saw these advertised on instagram um and the ads on instagram got me, and i thought you know all these girls seem super excited about their hair ties. They can't be that great, and so i thought i'd check them out. So i can't remember how much i paid for them um, i can't remember how quickly they shipped or how they came or anything like that um. I want to say they shipped fairly quickly, but i i can't i really can't remember um, but one thing i do remember now looking at their website is how it's kind of one of those corny websites where it looks like you're getting all these deals and things Like that, but i think they just like overpriced them, but then give you like a normal price to make. It seem like it's not really expensive, to pay three dollars a piece for like one of these hair ties um. But i guess it winds up being less than that, but so here, when you click on the shop collection, it brings you to this page and when you click the shop deals. It just kind of brings you down here, and this wasn't a thing whenever i ordered them before i didn't get the free gifts. I think they gave me two free. Actually, these uh. I think these were supposed to be their gold hair ties. I think they gave two free ones, and so that's what these are um, but i don't know it looks like they say whatever this 50 value um in free stuff but yeah. This is how you order you just hit like the plus sign on each of these packs and they come in bundles. It doesn't even say how many, but if you count it out, it looks like there's eight, so i guess there's eight in each pack and then they have some that are already like pre-mixed um. So you could get a pack of like these colors or you can get a pack of just eight of the solid colors. So that's kind of nice. If you don't want eight of one, color they'll give you like these mixes, but i also like that they have all the solid colors. So if i don't want all these different colors um, i can get them and it looks like they also give you the option of ordering individual clasps. I don't think that was there before, but anyway, i can't remember. They also do this thing and they did have this before, where you pick three bundles and you get one for free, and i think i don't know if they had that, i feel like they may have had pick two and get one for free and i think That'S what i did, because i have some of these black ones. I had like a whole pack of these black ones, a whole pack of these clear ones, and then i did have some in a blonde color, because i used to have blonde hair and i thought well, let me get those and that's actually like. I think maybe this color right here or this color - it really didn't, look blonde or match with my hair at all um. So, basically, really all i've been wearing is the black, because that's how i am i like to wear mostly all black or neutral colors. So if i were to reorder, i would just reorder the black for myself um, i guess just getting into it. I think this was also one of those things where, whenever you go to check out, they keep giving you all these deals to try to get you to order more um. And so i think that's what happened, but they are listed on the website at 40. But you get the good deal, the special deal of 19.95, a pack and then, like i said it looks like if you get two three packs you get one for free. If you get five packs, you get three for free. You know they do those sorts of things; they also sell them individually for three dollars, a piece and i guess they've added scrunchies and then yeah. This is like a set. I don't think you get to choose. I think they just send you the four top packs and you get one of those for free, but, okay, that's how you order it, how i ordered it was. I got i got in the pack so like i picked the green one uh or the black one. Um but yeah, so i guess that's how you will order it um. I will say that the website is pretty slow um. I had clicked this before and then click proceed to checkout a second ago and it took like forever for the checkout to load. It'S a lot faster right then. So i don't know. Maybe it was something with my computer and it says oh wow you've saved all this. You know um. I don't know about shipping. Let'S see what happens if i click this i'll, save yeah i'll. Add this special offer. I hope this doesn't have me like buy anything. No! Thank you. Okay, so i had to cut the end off of that video because it took me so i hit the checkout now it brought up the special order and then i was like no thanks and then it brought me up to like a shopify page thing that had All of my information already in it - and i don't want to show my address so um but it looks like shipping is free and it looks like you have the option to pay for it in installments. So, like i said, i don't remember how it was packaged or anything like that when it got to me, but now i will talk about how the hair tie works. Okay, so, overall i really like these hair ties. Whenever i first got them, i had some pretty thick um extensions. I had the uh invisible bead extensions that i had two wefts in my hair, so my hair was really really thick, which my hair is not naturally thick at all um, and so these were good because they came at this size which i could wrap around my Hair, i think twice, but once i got my extensions taken out, i didn't need that much and i can i just use the biggest size and wrap it around, but you might notice that these are smaller and you can like it'll show you on the website. You can cut them to whatever size you can just take scissors and cut. This is like a silicone and then it just snaps into this piece here, so you can really have it be any size, but when you cut it so like right here, this piece wouldn't snap in it - has like a flat piece and then like a round piece And so you want to cut it to where you have that round piece there to snap in i'm probably giving way too much information, but whatever maybe somebody wants to know all this, but um yeah, so this one. So the reason that this one is like this is because they do tend to break after you use them for a while, so the silicone i think one of these had, i must have worn it like a lot, because a part that wasn't even connected to the Um yeah a part that wasn't even connected to the um plastic piece. It'S always like night. Like every time. It'S been the part, that's connected to the plastic piece. One of them will get kind of like pulled and it'll break, but it looks like i wore this one enough to have it yeah, so it'll get like that. Like you'll start seeing it looking like that at first and then eventually it'll like snap and break um and then you'll just have to cut it again. But it looks like this one. I'Ve cut it a few times because it's so small um but yeah, but i just cut it and i keep wearing it. You know until i can't wear it anymore and i do you know, keep them on my wrist um and they kind of just look like a bracelet. So i like that about it, and i can't show you really like filming like this, but um it did make it easy. Whenever i had that really thick hair because um you just kind of you put it in your hair and then you just kind of fill up in your hair, you feel for the the thing here and then you just um unhook it on one of the sides. This is so hard to do with one hand, but you just unhook it, and then it comes open and then yeah and then it just comes right out of your hair, so that aspect of it is really easy, and i like it, but i will say just The one thing that they don't mention anywhere on the site - i don't think, is that um. This does eventually, if you wear them like quite a bit um, it will break off so like this one just broke today and that's what made me think to um. Do this video um, so you can see like the the ball is in there and what i normally do is i've got like i don't know i'll take like a little metal thing. I think i've used a pencil before and you can just kind of. I don't think i can do this with yeah, you just kind of knock it out and then, like i said you can cut. If you try to put this flat piece in it, definitely won't stay um, so um just cut off this flat, flattened piece to where you have the round piece again and you can use it again. It'Ll just be a little bit smaller, so i will probably do that with this one and do that. But i guess that's that's really all i have to say um i like them. I think enough to pay 20 bucks for eight of them um, because for eight of them they will last quite a while as long as you don't lose them all the time which i don't tend to lose. Hair ties that often so um yeah i mean overall. I would, i would recommend, but, like i said, there's the caveat of they will break on you sometimes and, and they do um they do stay in your hair, pretty good. I have had um them come unfastened on me, like maybe two or three times while i was working out. It would just like pop off and i'd have to put it back together and put it put it back in my hair. So there is the risk of that that it may come out. I think some people were asking about leaving bumps in your hair, um yeah. I think they will maybe not as bad as some other hair ties, but i'm pretty sure they do leave like a slight bump in your hair. I don't think there's any hair tie out there, that's not going to so um, but yeah um. If you're looking for something that won't leave that i i don't think, there's anything that will do that um that i know of but yeah like i said i recommend um. I guess that's it. These are the ones i wear every day. Um. I don't think i really care for the clear ones, but i don't i don't know i'm just not into colors so yeah at some point i'll probably be ordering another set of these. I do have a couple more left, um they're, just in like my travel bag, and things like that. So a pack of aid will last you for for quite a while.
