How To | Box Braids On Short Natural Hair

Hey guys so in today's video I'm going to be showing you how to achieve this hairstyle with short natural hair. So I've had my I've cut my hair off about three months ago, and so my hair is like non-existent. It'S quite sure, but I really wanted to do some braids and I'm not really here. I'M spending like 150 pounds minimum on a league. I wouldn't have a braided wig. I don't have a Brady book. Sorry - and I thought, like it'll, be nice to get my hair braided and I wouldn't be like finger on a bit too much and then we have. I would turn out it's me and then why I expected especially cuz, I'm hair so sure, but yeah. Okay, so I actually started off the hair because I do not generally, this was gon na work, so I bought a fall it's working, so I might as well do a video. So I started off by parting, my hair and with elastic bands for backing. It'S probably not as neat as the fun, because I can't see the like. Well, I did my best so yeah and now I'm attaching the braids. So I always figure to this when I'm doing my hair bunny sure they have using. When I break my hair, I use um expression and I have it in the color 1b, so I've just taken a chunk of hair. That I do is that I just kind of totally say it's longer on one side than the other cuz. I want it to be more length, I'm just putting the crochet hook in my hair and then playing this through. Another thing, I will say, is if you're Dennis SR, just don't make your elastic bands too tight, because it's just gon na be uncomfortable in your head. Okay, so why do now? I just I don't let me do this wife. I try it today and I thought actually, this is about a technique. I get that loop and I put the head through weave and my hair through and it just locks everything in together. It'S not the neatest looking thing, but it works and I'm gon na braid over this as well. Okay, guys, I'm back, I decided to do most of it off camera, just because it's quite repetitive - and I didn't want to like bore you guys. This is what I've done so far. It'S quite difficult to try and blend your hair in so like I've got this one in particular this time, but sometimes my head doesn't blend into the knot. So I just take a little extra bit of hair and then I just put it on top and then braid the hair. So when I get to the end of the hair, I'm not doing the end of it because I'm thinking to curl the bottom I'll. Never try that before so I wants to try it out, see I'm just leaving them like I'm plaited right up ends of my hair. I want to just slick my edges now, so I've got some hot water here and I'm just gon na put those engine. I was supposed to use rollers, but I don't know I put mine, so Dutch knife: it's got a curl which is now I'm going to do. They take some olive oil Moo's, I'm gon na spray that spray it put with my scalp. I can't come out so I use as much as I want. I'M just gon na focus it on where the pot is I'm gon na. Let my hair dry put this headscarf on, so it just makes my hair nice and flat okay. So I'm back, my hair is like almost rival. I just did my makeup quickly, so this is what it looks like I'm so proud of myself. The girls actually came up all right. Even I don't need in these cars. This is obviously, I can't really see the back as well as a front, so I'm actually proud of how me is: isn't the neatest thing in the world, but it's okay. You know, okay, folks, please yeah.
