Beach Waves Tutorial | Short Hair Babyliss Tutorial | How To Use Babyliss Curling Wand

Hi guys in today's video I'm going to be showing you how to use the ballast hair wand. I recently bought this. It was 20 pounds from Amazon. I will link it below and I absolutely love it. So I have just been kind of trying and erroring how I do my hair, and this is how I like to do it now. I do like this because it does end up dropping as the day goes on, so it's quite a tight curl at the beginning, but I'm going to show you a tutorial for how to use it. My way, I'm no expert, please don't think I am fabulous. Hair wand comes with the wand and a heatproof Club. This is essential because holy moly, it burns you if you do not put the glove on so definitely wear the glove. When I turn the heat wand on, I put it right up to the maximum temperature up here, which is 210, probably really bad for my hair. So, as my hair drops quite easily and it's quite thin, I just find that the higher temperature I use the longer my curl lasts. So I'm going to take this video all the way back and I'm going to show you guys how I get a curl like this, using the babblers wand right. So, first of all, I will put my argan oil. This is a heat defence leave-in spray. This is actually from the pound shop guys. So any time I use my hair straighteners. Anything like that I'll just spray. A bit of this on to make my hair well to make myself feel like I'm, protecting it a bit from the heat I mean it's probably not, but this is what I do so just spray it all over, especially as I've got such bleached blonde hair at The end I do feel like it gets damaged quite easily, once I've done that I will just comb it through a bit, so I do find that curling. My hair is always better if I washed it the day before so I washed this yesterday and yesterday morning. Actually so this is kind of like two days old, so I start and stripped so, as you can see, I've got very, very short hair. So these little bit down here are quite tricky to do right. So I've just done the bottom lay a few guys because they are so short they don't curl properly anyway, but as you can see, there's little curl. So the next thing I do is I just take down section by sections but get the wand. I place it about an inch away from my wrote, because I feel this is how you get kind of beachy waves. Now then just wrap my hair around the wand going downwards. I hold also about an inch of the end of my hair because I don't want to go all the way to the end and also even though you've got, and these heat proof gloves my hand still gets pretty hot if I touch the wand, so I just Hold it here for about 30 seconds, and then I let go there is my curl, so I just leave them like that. Then, at the very end I go through and kind of brush them out a bit. So what I do is I make sure that I can't get my hair is kind of flat as possible. I don't want it to be bunched up, because I wasn't clear as well so put the warned about an inch away from the root and I just twist it round and I'm holding an inch at the end. As you can see, there see a voila. So I just do it all the way around so this side, I'm holding the wand down that way like that, and I go round to the front this side. I go round to that front, so I'm always pulling my hair round to the front of me. Okay, so I'm going to show you now with the longer piece of hair, because once you get your hair, that's a bit longer. It honestly is so much easier. So I start about an inch from the root and I'm just winding it round. So you can wind around like that, and then you can kind of pull it back up your hair and go a bit further round. If that makes sense, if you want to thick a curl, you just move the hair up the wand, a bit more, a tighter cow and you move your hair down the wand to the thinner end. Hold it thirty Seconds. You'Re done now. That looks super duper curly, but I promise you once you brush it out a bit. It looks a lot better right, I'm on my last section now guys, so I'm gon na show you one last time so I'll get my fringe in as well. Actually so I start like that. I'M gon na put the one there flip my hair over and over and over, so I've still got an inch there and I'm an inch or so for my root, maybe a bit more actually up to you, how kind of curly you how high you want! Your some curls to start. That'S me done right. I will then work my hands through this quite a lot kind of just pulling it all down, curling it round like that until I'm happy with it so yeah.
