What'S up YouTube is the master stylist and I'm back today with another tutorial, I'm going to be doing a little bit of a haircut. I'M not gon na. Do the full haircut, as I said before, if you guys want to see a full haircut, then you will have to take a class with me. Class information is available on my website at the master stylist com. So right now, what I am doing is I'm doing what we call a clipper over comb. Her hair has not been relaxed in a while, however, it is very soft and it's not hard to comb at all, so instead of going and starting the relaxed. So, first I'm going to go ahead and cut her hair first so that when I relax it and lay it down, you know what I'm seeing that hair gon na be laying down real good, because if you relax it while the hair is still long, sometimes it Doesn'T get as straight on the sides as you'd want it, and I know it does seem like I'm combing, her hair really hard, but I actually am being very gentle but because the video is speeded up. That'S the way that it looks because I know you guys always say there looks like I'm just pushing my clients head so hard, but that is not the case. It'S just because of the speed of the video okay. Here'S a sample, as I said before, you wan na, see the full cut. You know what you got ta do here's the finished look of the cut and I were gon na go ahead and I'm gon na relax. Her she's done. She'S been relaxed so now we're gon na go ahead and start waving her. So now we're gon na go ahead and get started using my main man phone. It is available at main life. Studio. Comm just want to make sure we get that foam in the hair. I am a little heavy-handed when it comes to foam wrap. I may I don't suggest using this much, but I do sometimes can get a little carried away. Y'All know the routine. You have seen tons of my finger wave videos, so I'm not gon na do much talking doing the finger wave process I'll. Just let you guys see and when doing the hairline, especially the back and the sides, just want to make sure that you are giving the hair like some low features and some little trinkets, as I call them swirls around the outside, and that just gives the hair. You know just live-ins up the hair styling and give it some life okay, so she is waved for the gods and she's ready for the dryer, we're gon na put her in the dryer for about 45 minutes and then after that, we'll be ready to style. So now we're going in with my main met foam. It is also available at mean, like studio com, just a dime sized amount and just making sure we're getting that oil completely into the hair and ready for curling the iron that I'm using today, of course, is my h2 Pro micro iron. It is a three times iron iron. I will have a link to my Amazon store in the description box, where you can purchase this flat iron. I believe it is about 150 and it is definitely my flat iron of choice for curling the size of short hair. The easiest way for me to explain the styling technique for the soft waves. It'S basically, you are curling in the same direction as the wave and I'm just taking my flat iron and just kind of holding it down. There. Sometimes you'll see me holding it down with mine, just press it with my finger just to make the toe curl or a ways flat, and once we get to the crown area. The first thing that you want to do is basically we are mending the the back part in the front, part or middle part together, so I'm just kind of curling in different directions to cover up the part. So you don't have like a big part in the middle, but the one thing about when you mow the hair, while it's wet, if you don't make a part, then you don't they're, you know you're not trying to cover up a part if that makes sense. So don't put like a big wide part and mold it flat there and then you're not struggling trying to cover that part up. So now I'm taking a small bit of affirms, light hairdressing cream and I'm just gon na emulsify that in my hands really well and then we're just gon na pull out her curls and give her style a nice shape. My holding spray of choice is Sebastian holding spray. I will have a link to that as well as the hairdressing cream down below, for you guys to check that out. So this is the finished look.
