Pencil Flat Iron Hair Tutorial | Thehairazortv

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, let's get right into it. So today we are doing a partial, a color um and I bought a flat iron. I actually bought a new flat iron. I bought a pencil flat iron and I really wanted to curl my hair. So hence this tutorial all right. So, as you can see, I'm doing a partial because I desperately needed one. That day I use the affirm, sensitive relaxer on my back and sides and then even my hair period. So did the partial rinsed it out, then I am going in with the kiss midnight blue hair color um, because the top of my hair uh it rinsed out a little bit. So I just wanted to make sure and refresh the color. This is just a semi-permanent um color. It is not permanent, so you can go in and refresh your color if it fades all right yep. So that is what we're doing. Then. We leave that on 20 minutes or so rinse it out and we're gon na get into the mold. So today I am doing a soft wave on the sides and back if you want to see a detailed video of that, because I know this is very fast. I do have a video on my channel that shows the soft wave, so you can see how detailed to do it. Um um, I guess one of the tips that I can tell you is honestly. Just to you know, practice makes perfect or practice makes better. As I tell my daughter um, because there are some days where my waves look a mess and it's not coming out the way I want it to - and I just will start over and do it over and over until I get it to where I like it. So I'll say that with y'all you know at home do the same thing. Thank you as you can see, I'm working at y'all. I am working it because it was just it wasn't doing what it was supposed to be doing so we're putting our Rapids Junior strips on. You can use black white. It does not matter go into the dryer for about 20 to 30 minutes under a hooded dryer works best for me after I am dry, I'm just taking the kiss colors color remover to remove some of the faded dye um that you know kind of Blended onto My hair from the rinse and um I mean not blend on not the rinse, but when I molded my hair it went on so here is the best oil ever the hair, razor hair and skin oil made by Yours Truly make sure and go get it now. At the hairrazor.com plug plug, go get it um. Next up, I am putting the Palmetto freezing shine, hairspray on my hair and then we're going to get into the curl. This is the tervic. I hope I'm saying it right pencil. A 3 4 inch flat iron um. I got it from Amazon, I do have it in my Amazon store. I do have an Amazon store guys so all of the short hair tools, um extra products outside of the hair and skin oil - that is on my website um, but the other little things that I use even home, stuff. Kids stuff. I know I got kids now all of those things anything that you have asked me about. It is in my Amazon store, so I will put the link up and also put it in the description box um, so yeah, let's get back to the curling uh. Basically, what you see I'm doing is, I am picking up the hair with the uh with the rat tail, the end of the rat tail and just curling. That'S it just curling, um y'all know. If you're OG to this channel, I tell y'all about the C formation, and you know just use your wrist and get that c formation all the way down. This is sped up. Of course you can go slower, so you can make sure and get the curl of the way you want it to um. The heat setting that I had this on was, I think, 356.. So it was not super hot, be mindful. Don'T burn your hair up um! This flat iron gets pretty hot and then my hair is short and I have color and I have relaxer so I'm being mindful of what as well. So. It was like on 356. and you don't have to get every piece of hair, I'm just getting as much as I can, because the lower you go down the shorter my hair is y'all know I, like my hair, really short on the sides and back so I Can'T curl the sides like close to my ear, I can barely curl that so here we are with the Murray's beeswax, just taking that to manipulate the hair and get it you know the way we want it to finish and uh. You know really clean up that style and I'm just taking my fingers like I love using my fingers and my nails to style my hair instead of a comb. It gives it that messy uh feel that I want and look that I want. Besides the comb. I may go in with the comb after just on the sides and back but outside of that I use my hands a lot when I'm styling my hair using hairspray again - and I ran out of time because I had to get ready to go somewhere. And here we are in the car with the finished product with the family y'all see Haven if you haven't seen her in years. This is her in the back and Nova's right behind me, but you can't see her um.
