Hey YouTube: welcome back! Thank you! So much for watching! Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel today we're going to create some beach waves with my t3 flat iron check. It out all right guys, let's get started, so my hair is just kind of like I just washed it last night and I kind of just blew dry it lightly. I didn't really like blow it out or straighten it, because I want to create that beach wave. I took out my extensions and I did cut my hair off a little because it was so damaged from the bleach. So it's a lot shorter than I really like, but you know what it's really in style right now: the trend to have short hair and it's kind of cute and flirty and sexy. So without my extensions I kind of play around with it, because it's short, I thought it'd be cute and Beach waves are just here to stay they're not going anywhere they've been around for a while now and they're, just not going anywhere, and it looks really cute With short hair, so I thought to myself: why not use my t3 flat iron check out that video above, if you want to see my first impression linked to this flat iron, which ah product review love this flat iron a year later and I'm still using it? Someone commented a couple days ago and they asked if I still liked it, I don't use it every single day, but every time I straighten my hair, I use this and I've been starting to use it more with the beach waves. I don't really do beach waves too much, but I really love the way. It looks right now and I love the way it looks on short hair, it's so so cute. So I thought, since it's short right now, why don't we do that like a little flirty? Little flirty with my short hair right now, so I wanted to do it on camera and show you guys how to create beach waves using a flat iron, and I really love the t3 flat irons. I really do. I think they don't damage your hair as much so I thought why not use it on camera again and let's do a beach wave tutorial using a flat iron. I did do a beach wave tutorial with my hairdresser. She actually did it on me with a regular curling iron, so you can check out that video as well, but we're gon na use a flat iron because sometimes when we travel or we go somewhere, you want something where you don't have to bring a curling iron. A flat iron and a blow-dryer and all of that stuff, you just want one item right or two items, a blow-dryer and a flat iron, and you can create a tight ringlet curl or you can also create a loose Beach wave. So it just depends on how you hold the flat iron if you're not familiar with my channel. My mom is a hairdresser. I am NOT a hairdresser, but I learned a lot cuz. I grew up in a beauty salon and that's my life. My mom has been a cosmetologist for 50 years. I am not a hairdresser by any means: full disclosure, not a hairdresser, but I grew up around hair and I know a lot about hair because I have a hairdresser for a mom. So you can watch our videos. We'Ve done French braid tutorial, we've done like a little loose messy bun. We'Ve done some makeup ones and we're actually getting ready to film another one. So she is the pro, but I want to show you how to flat iron on your own. So, let's give it a go, all you need for this is a brush a comb like a teasing comb. I love this comb air comb. I talked about it in all my videos. It'S a great comb. I'Ve been using this since I was a little girl and I'm gon na use the bumble and bumble thickening spray. I also did a video on this on first impression what I thought about this product and I'm still using it to this day. So I still really love it and I'm also gon na use the cheap black seed oil. I did this on my favorites for my hair products, my favorite hair product video. You could check out that video as well, so I'm going to use the brush the comb in these two products. If you like to have more hold in your hair now most people that do beach waves want to be able to have it for a few days. So the less product you put on like hair sprays and stuff the longer you can go without having to wash it. If you definitely want to use hair spray, I get it it's okay, you want a stronger hold. I do like this camera platinum sure holding hairspray. Also talked about that my favorites video - it's just been my go-to hairspray, so that's a good one for that minimal whole, but gives you it just a little bit of something: let's go in on it, because I don't want to take too long on this video. All my other makeup videos are so long, so I'm gon na take sections and it's better to do it this way. I don't have a lot of hair right now, because my hair is short and it's very layered, unwanted layers because breakage needless to say, there's some layers in there. So I'm probably just gon na do two sections right now, because I don't have that much hair and I'm doing more of a loose, so I'm just gon na take like half of it up like this. Oh my bad. You also need a clamp too, because you're going to twist and you're going to clamp up the top section and we're just going to work with this bottom section. This is the length of my hair in the back, so not real long. It'S kind of short hairspray over there before I knock it over okay, so we're gon na turn the flat iron on this goes up to 4:30. I want to say I'll link it on the bottom I'll put in the description box, but I want to say, goes up to 4:30 and the minimal is 260, so you just hold that button on like that and then we'll go on. The good part is, if you forget, to shut it off, it has an automatic shutoff, which I really like, and I just love, I'm a big fan of white. It'S like my favorite color. I love everything white everything. If I can have my entire house white - and I love kids, so I can have my entire house white, I would have it white all the way. Just the color white and I love the rose gold D tone. It'S so pretty. So nowadays you can get like t3 flat irons at Costco and t3 blow-dryers at Costco, but I don't think it's their luxe line. I think it's like the lower end of the t3 line, but still I heard pretty good. This is deluxe one. So this is the one you find at Sephora Nordstrom's used to sell them. Amazon sells them, I want to say old, sells them so really good flat iron, a really good investment, not that I bought it because it was a gift, but it was a good investment. Let'S good investment on on the person that gave it to me alright, so I'm just gon na take a section like this. Now since I have short hair, I'm not gon na take real ginormous sections because I don't have a lot of hair to go around. So I'm gon na take like just an even amount like this much yeah, not that much right there. So I'm kind of looking in the mirror and looking at the monitor and looking at the little monitor as well. So sorry, if I either going all crazy, so I'm just gon na comb that make sure it's nice and smooth and I'm gon na take the flat iron. I'M gon na go at a 45 degree angle. So when you go to a 45 degree angle, it's going to be less of a curl, so it's gon na be a looser curl that way. So, if you did it flat like that, it's gon na do more of a ringlet curl. If you do a 45 degree angle, you're gon na get a more of a beach wave, which is what we're going for. So I can do a ringlet curl in another video and you're just going to twist once and then straighten it up like that, and there you go so that one kind of came out a little ringlets II. So what I'm gon na do is just kind of take the flat iron in there and just kind of know. I like it a little bit tighter than most people do so I don't like it real tight, but I like it a little tight. So I'm just gon na kind of work my hands through that because to me, if I want it to last a couple days, I needed a little tight. So that's about a good good size right there and we're gon na pull that apart in a little bit. But we're just gon na leave it there just again a little section like that. So again, 45 degree angle come up there. You go just like that. Just straight you could take the ends and kind of smooth out the ends. If you want, I didn't straighten it. So I'd like to smooth out the ends: have nice little fuzzy ends from my bleach again same thing. This, the back part can be a little tricky. When I do my left side, I like to go down like that, but somehow, when I do my right side, I like to go this way. I don't know why, but I like to go this way, it's just easier for me and then I just smooth it out again and then create that wave really easy. You could do it this way. On the other side too, it just depends on the look. You want it's just easier for me to angle it this way, one time around and straighten it out. I'M gon na take that section with the comb, make sure you just smooth it out a little and then again just come in on this angle. Bring it forward like that and then just grab it twist it once and then does that run through the ends, just like that and we'll take out the curl one side. Now this back already kind of got curled a little bit so again, one twist and I some of those end end because I have short hair. I don't want it so curled back there. I kind of want it a little bit straight and then you just take your hands and just kind of run it through it like this and you're just kind of pulling it out a little bit, but just kind of creating some see how much volume I already Got on the bottom, I'm just doing those beach waves. You can always go back into the sections and kind of create different little sections that you want, but it's really easy so again. Just to give you another lesson so here twist one time twist and then smooth and if you really wanted a tighter ringlets, you can go around twice. So that's gon na create a tighter ringlets curl, but that's not what I'm going for I'm going for a beach way and then just loosen it out like that. So what I would take now that my hair is already in sections. I'M gon na take the Bumble and Bumble texturing spray. I'M just gon na go like that. Oh that stuff smells so divine. Oh, I love the smell of that stuff. I'M just gon na hit it into that root and just create texture, and this is gon na give me that volume that I want. Oh, this stuff smells so good. This is the best invention. Ever this Bumble and Bumble thickening dry sponge, spray, texture, spray, uh-huh, it's like use, you can use dry shampoo too. I'M actually gon na go three sections, so I'm gon na take this top part up here and I'm gon na just this is gon na, be my last section. I'M actually gon na go into three and then going take the clamp all right. Now, let's get to this front area grab that I'm going a little bit smaller than most people where they like to take bigger sections so get on this left side. For me, I'm gon na go down. I just find it easier that way going at that angle. Just like that so depending on the curl you want. So if I want a little bit tighter I'll just go in a little bit more then tighten it see how you can get that a little bit tighter. That way. So there's that one and then I mean the sections depend on you so going down at the 45 degree angle pushing it through one pinch just like that and then just smooth out the ends smooth the ends on that one too, because we've got a little too Tight, that's a good time and then take your other section of your hair and on this side you could do it this way, but I still find it going down on this side better twist twist and smooth just like that so easy you guys so easy. Now you don't have to bring a curling iron with you when you travel, which is nice so again, 45 degree angle, twist really easy way to create a nice blue speech wave. So, on this side I like to go this way come up and twist around and straighten. Look at that. How easy is that and then just take the ends and smooth it out. I'M gon na go in on this one and the other video I did with my hairdresser. She created even looser of a beach way, but it just depends. It was just depends on what kind of look you want now you could go in, you could go down and use your other hand, I just don't have control. With that other hand, so it's just easier to go this way to do it. That way, it kind of creates a different kind of curl, though going this way, but it still blends in very easy, easy but easy and take that little section now you've created those loose speech. Waves back part is always challenging for anyone and this one I'm going to go this way, okay twist and straighten just like that, so you creating those blue speech waves back there remember this doesn't have to be perfect and precise, we're creating loose toss old beach waves. We'Re not creating anything like extravagant and I'm gon na take the texture spray spray. I can't get enough of this thing. This spray, and this comes in a travel sized tube for when you travel, so it's nice and then we're gon na. Take that final section, because I don't have that chair and you can part it to the side - you can part it more in the middle. However, you want to do it sometimes, when I do beach waves, I like to do it in the middle, so it just depends on what's kind of part you want. I had it in a side part earlier, so it's kind of gon na go that way. Today. That'S okay and then I'm going to take this section like this on the front and again when you're in the front area, you definitely want it to go back so 45 degree angle twist and smooth. Just like that see you don't want it to ring liddie in the front. You just want it to be a nice loose wave right there. Then I like to take like that section right here like that and then go down twist, just like that again, this section right here - I'm kind of going bigger right here twist twist get that twist in there and then straighten it out. Just like that see it's creating those nice loose waves in the front and so you're just gon na kind of play with it play with the sections that you want. You may take and go home. I don't really like that section. You take another section and then go like this and get it to where you want it to go. You got to get one twist in there, though. That'S the key is getting that one twist in there creating that effortless beach wave all right. So this side, you're just gon na pull here and you're gon na twist it and straighten, take that little section. I have more broken hairs on this side. Gon na love, bleaching out your hair, I mean come on. Why can I just been a natural blonde? Get that straight, it just depends on how you're comfortable holding the flatiron, both of them are gon na work. So, if you're going down, you definitely want to go at a 45-degree angle if you're doing it this way, I'm like how I'm doing it on this side. You don't need to do that, and this one. If you want, you, can go forward and create more texture. More dimension, I mean sorry, I like them all, go me back. No, that's just my preference forward, but if you switch every other that does create more dimension, it's really not as hard as people think it is. I used to be intimidated by the beach wave. I don't know why it just seemed like how do I make it look so effortless and then just you know, just kind of take the sections that you want and start creating. It'S really not that bad, but it just gives you that nice effortless volume to your hair. It just makes it look like it makes them look sexy to me. I don't know why. I don't know why beach waves do that, and you could just take your hands and just run it. I mean the more you tousle it the better. It starts to come out and sometimes beach waves always look better like even like the next day. I don't know why and then just take your texture spray just spray. I mean look at how much volume of texture spray gives you without using hair spray. Isn'T that crazy? You don't get that helmet head crunchy head hair spray, you just get a nice toss! Old! Look without the stiff and hardness to go with it and you don't have to back comb your hair, which is so nice and then you would just see so some of these areas are a little still messy. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take some of these sections and then just kind of it's a process. Just like makeup see how you want to do it. It'S just up to you. You know I'm just piecing it piecing it. How you want it separating the two there I'm gon na take now I'm gon na go with, like maybe even like this little section right here. It'S all trial and error, I'm just smoothing it see how sometimes they come out better the second time around and take that little section right here. Just like that. Look at how cute that looks. Oh my gosh! I love it. I love it love it. I love it and again I'm just gon na kind of take some pieces here. Sometimes it does that to you honestly, though, that Bumble and Bumble is everything seriously. I don't use it that often because I don't want to waste it. I forgot how much I loved it and one twist since I toss old it, some of the curls came out, so it's just playing with it. It'S seen going to the desire of what you want. Do you want even looser? It just really depends it's all on what you want and then I would take like my cheap seed oil pump that just one pump nothing. I don't want it to Gracie. Looking just rub it around in my hands and just kind of run it through the ends. Don'T do the scalp area because you don't want that to flatten out just more for the ends like the end pieces right here like the only time I would do. The front is like the front area where it's still kind of broken there, but I'm not gon na rub it through here cuz. I don't want it to weigh it down. I just created that texture and then I just kind of run my hands through that give it one more boost with that Bumble and Bumble, but yeah that's pretty much what it would look like and you can kind of do whatever you want. I don't even need to backcomb it that's how much volume I got out of that and I'm just gon na kind of fluff it out my hello gorgeous brush and I'm just gon na kind of remember where I got this brush, but I love it so cute. I love black and gold. Oh charming, Charlie! That'S right about this. I love that store so yeah, I'm just kind of push it through there and you can take some pomade and kind of work that into that front area if you want, but I like this front area to be very loose to be very like carefree. I don't have a mirror and I don't know what it's gon na look like in the back, but hopefully it turns out. Okay, if I had a mirror, I can make it look better, but so far that's kind of what the back looks like, but you could do better with your mirror and your bathroom and all that stuff, I'm just trying to show you guys an idea of a Proper place, I'm gon na be using your flat iron. When you do beach waves with the curling iron, you have to be careful about the heat you want that to be on low and you can check that out. In that other video. I did my hair stylist when she used a curling iron on the maybe twice, but on a flat iron. You have a little bit more flexibility when it comes to that. You just want to go to a comfortable temperature where it's not going to burn your hair. You don't want it to be too hot, though so, I would say, like medium would be a good, a good temperature for the flat iron, but yeah I mean I really like the way it turns out. The beauty of using a flat iron is not only. Do you not have to bring your curling iron and a flat iron when you travel or take out both items when you're doing your hair at home, but also another good point? Is you can just kind of smooth out the ends which I really like? You can still have the ability to do that with a flat iron. I just really love the way. It looks it's that effortless toss old sexy. Yes, I'm here I have the volume and you know I could still look good with short hair. I don't need all this long hair to look so sexy. I can still look really cute and toss old and you know effortless with short hair. So that's what I really like about the beach waves and this new short hair spring. Look, I mean short hair is just in it's here to stay for a while. I thought it was like gon na be like a small little trend, and it would just be for a little while and it's gon na go back to long hair again. But it looks like short. Hair is here to stay for a while, as well as the beach wave short hair and beach waves, good combination. I really like it say you know, like you're, like two days into your beach waves, you can take a rubber band and you just kind of like either do a half up half down situation, or you can even just take it into like a low ponytail and, Like tie it into like a knot, you know and kind of give that effortless beach wave short look like that, where it's really simple and easy and you can still have a cute little short hair, do with your hair up so, and you can leave these pieces Out which I really like so another way to create, this could be like your second third day of beach waves and you can take it out and guess what it still looks, cute and toss old. So really simple or you can do like a half up. Half down - and you can take like this little section right here like that you could put like a barrette or a clamp or something or what you can do is let me turn around here and what you can do is take this half section like this, and You can twist it around and tie it in a knot, put it through their short hair. You can do this and pull it through and then just put a bobby pin and keep it like that. I'M just really cute idea to do it that way, and it gives you like that half-up half-down look. I don't have a body pin in place, you can even take like a rubber band and just for now, I'm just gon na twist it in there and it will leave it there. You can raise this up a little bit and now you have a cute little Shh, half-up half-down situation with your beach waves. So just another option that you can do and I wouldn't put the verb and I would put actually a bobby pin in there but yeah and then you take it down and it still looks cute. It still looks toss old and still looks in place, somewhat kind of messed it up doing that, but yeah I mean it gives you that look and again you could just take those little pieces and just twist them back into place. You know it's all about placement when it comes to these, so alright guys, that's it. So this is the look I created like three different looks basically wearing your hair down wearing it up or wearing it half up. I wanted to give you guys a quick, easy way to create beach waves with a flatiron. I use the t3 flatiron. I use the bumble and bumble texture spray. I love this prod. Please check out that video. I gave a more in-depth, detailed review on this product, but yes, still using it to this day, still using my t3 flat iron to this day, absolutely love it. I love this look. I love this Beach way, especially my hair short. I really like this look. Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel, give this video huge thumbs up, set your notification bell for future videos and I'll see you on the next one. Thanks guys, bye,
