Watch Me Flat-Iron/Silk Press My Sisters 4 C Hair| Nume Ceramic Flat-Iron| It'S Been A Year!!!

Hey guys, this is your girl taller, I'm back with another video and it's gon na be on a silk press. I'M gon na chest out this flat iron that was sent to me by a company. It'S called new me and it's a megastar audition and I want to see if it can work on forc'd type hair and see if it can be put to the test. So I will be using this on my sister today and I'm just showing you guys how it looks. It is a digital. It is ceramic as well. It also comes in this fancy knife packaging, which I love, because I can just put it back in there over and over again and keep it nice and safe and secure. The cord is super duper long, which is another plus. Let'S go ahead and get started. Okay, so I'm first putting her head with water cuz. I hair dried up when she got to me after washing her hair, I'm using the main choice, restorative spray, with the silk elements, heat protection, spray and then the it's a 10 miracle leave-in. I just love this because it has 10 great benefits and then they can to leave-in conditioner, I'm using five pumps of oil serum. I prefer the Chi carrots and silk infusion. A drop of that. Unfortunately, stores are closed, so I got to use was on hand. So I am combing her hair and detangling like so always try to hold the root area and comb the ends first. That way is not so painful for yourself or for your client. Definitely gon na put a cape on her, so I'm going to divide her hair into four sections to make blow-drying easy to deal with and make sure you detangle before you blow drying process. Now you go ahead and take up one section and you start from the ends to the root area and I go ahead and do all of that now I have my straightening comb and I'm gon na go ahead and hit them edges. Real quick and all these products will be in the description box below so don't worry about that and I put it to the highest heat. I don't know what it is, but it is the highest heat and I can handle it because we used a heat protection spray. It'S a ten has a heat protection ability as well. So now I'm going to go in with the flat iron, and I must say I am impressed it has great grip. It flat irons perfectly with one pass, because that's what she want just one to two passes and you should be good to go so so far. So good I'm loving it. I am noticing here that my sister's hair is not on the best side when it comes to health and integrity. So I'm going to go ahead and silk it out and see what we can do once I'm done with the silk press process, the trick to a good silk press is adding enough oil, but not heavy oil. You know you need to make sure you deep condition. Well and then come in with a good serum, heavy serums weigh it down and don't let the hair flow I'm only going in with one or two passes just because I don't believe it takes about 3 to 4 passes for the hair to be straight one, preferably Two, the most now I have the temperature on for 50. If your hair is finer or you have a looser car pattern - definitely decrease the heat to maybe 4 10 everybody's heat preference should be different depending on the curl pattern type you have, cars is 4c and it can definitely handle the 450 heat temperature. So I am done with this up press and I'm noticing a whole bunch of split ends. I'M just analyzing the hair to see what needs to be done and I'm definitely seeing that we got to give her a cut and then get this hair back to life. So what I'm gon na do is just section her hair out to give her age a little cut. Slash trim so I'm gon na go ahead, section the hair to do so, so my goal is to take off as little as possible just so, she can have a look while growing out her hair and getting it back to health. So I'm just gon na trim off what is necessary and those ends needed to go comment below. If you feel like, I cut it too short or if you agree with the cut that I did so, I'm gon na go ahead and just off those ends. As you see here and then begin the styling process, I actually decided that I'm gon na also add some trucks, because she's gon na need some fullness to assist her in this look girl. You got ta fake it, so you make it honey and that's what we're gon na do. As you see, I didn't take much off from the sides because they got ta grow in and she's got to have some kind of look. So I didn't cut off much off the sides like I wanted to, but as her hair grows, I will continue to give her a good trim to get everything back to the way it needs to be so I am using micro links this time to do her. Install I've had these laying around for a while. My micro link needle is busted up, but it still works. You see how it's deformed, you put the beads, and I have like five beads on there already section, the hair into little squares and go ahead and pull your bead up, I'm doing it in slo-mo, so you guys can see now pull your hair through the beader. First, then, you pull your bead up and pull your hair out to go through the bead itself, and you do this on all the sections and I'm gon na show you how it's done right here. I went ahead and sped it up just so you guys can cause it's not really. It'S not tutorial. Really, I'm just giving you guys a gist of how it's done, and I once I apply the beads. I use my tool so go ahead and push this and position them in place plant them in place, and you would want to go at a forty five to thirty degree angle. You do not want to do a ninety, because the hair will stick straight up, and that is not a desired look and it's very uncomfortable for your client when the beads are way too tight on their scalp. I go ahead and sew my West onto her hair. Not the bee, but the top part of the bead on her hair and we're done the camera died. So sorry, I didn't get to do the whole pumping process, but, as you see I just bare with her ends, gave her a light, bang and finished with that. Thank you guys for watching.
