Hey guys, it's quick tip Tuesday, again fun today we're going to talk about how to properly towel dry your hair. Now I just washed my hair earlier this morning. I actually went ahead and filmed me and doing the drying of my hair. When I got out of the shower, so let's go ahead and go to that clip right now, alright, so first, please excuse the completely bare face, as I just got out of the shower. First and foremost, you want to start off with your towel. This is full body size towel. I just use it because it's easier for me. I use hair towels in the salon, but if you have longer hair, you might want to use a bigger towel just because the longer the hair, the more water there is in it everybody's seen, you take your towel. You put it up on top of your head like this. Clearly there's hair in it. That'S not that good for your hair, because your hair is going up and it's also curved into all of the curves on the towel when you twist it like that. So, therefore, since your hair is wet, it's a lot more prone to breakage, which means that when it's up like that, it's being stressed out, but the best way is to keep it down. If you're going to push your towel on your head for a minute or two legs, your step out of the shower, I personally use a different towel for my hair, simply because oils in the shower bath gels, whatever you use, can still leave residue on your skin And if you use a body towels and put it in your hair and that's gon na transfer those oils onto your already clean hair, so two towels is my rule. It'S whatever you feel like I, let's say my hair is soaking wet. What I do is I grab it all behind me. I take my towel and I put it on top of my head. Most people take their towel and they start doing this really hard and vigorously, and they do this down here and that because your hair is wet once again is going to create damage. That friction is making your cuticle fray, which means that you're getting frizz. I go in and I just massage my head not that long and then I like get down I squeeze now. I squeeze till the end. If you need to bring the towel over to the side and just squeeze squeeze squeeze keep squeezing until you've got most of that excess water out. And then, if I put my towel around my hair, Oh get it around my hair and that's it. I have my towel on my body and my talent, hair and I'm getting all ready. So that's your best bet for towel drying your hair and not causing damage. Try it out and let me know how it goes if you thought that was helpful, give this video a big thumbs up, because you are awesome question of the day, I'm actually going to relate it to personal life. Again, you guys seem to like those the most, because I get more answers when I do that. So, if you guys follow me on instagram, i'm also meg elizabeth 9. Over there, you probably saw a few post from my trip. Last week I wasn't in New York the whole week. I was only in New York for one day it was a Saturday. It was awesome, cool part of my trip. Everything was cool in my trip, but question of the day, how many of you have actually been to New York City and if you haven't been, do you want to go? Because let me just tell you, as a smaller town, southern girl, I'm not in like a teeny, tiny town, but my City compared to most big cities. It would be smaller. It was a bit overwhelming, but it was a lot of fun. Maybe it may be, as I'm talking about this I'll, put up some pictures of it, but it was a lot of fun I enjoyed it. I also got to experience the Pocono Mountains and Vania, and some stuff in New Jersey, awesome, awesome trip. But I want to hear what you guys think about New York and let me know if you guys like when I post, like personal life, pictures on Instagram as well, because a lot of people said things when I was posting New York pictures. And I don't have to do all hair pictures as you guys enjoy that stuff too, but I will see you guys in the next video. I hope you love it. Not least bye, guys

juggalo for life!: I just wanna say that I'm a dude with long ass hair and this actually helped

Maria Carolina Carmona: Never thought that putting my hair up was going to cause damage. Thanks so much for the tip, I'll try it tomorrow :D and yes, I've been in New York and I loved it there, especially Manhattan and Brooklyn, it is a really big city indeed.

Jersey La Clare: Hey I would love to say thank you because every morning I get up at 7 to shower and this helps keep me ready earlier so thank you very much. Also, when I use a hair dryer it fries my hair and makes it extremely flaky and gross so drying it properly is a plus! Thank you!

Caitlin Dewitt: Girl, I was going through a struggle for like a solid 10 minutes trying to do a towel wrap. I was doing it backwards trying to tuck the end into the front but it kept hobbling side to side. HAHA anyways thanks for keeping your video simple and straight to the point. You helped me get it straight. I also very much enjoyed your little personal content at the end. Don't worry about the haters, keep it up. & hearts;.

Vanessa Diaz: It actually was helpful because I was going to straighten my hair and my hair was still wet so I wasn't until I watched this video your helpful

Devin Palama: Lol I legit looked this up after I took a shower after figuring I was damaging my hair doing it the usual way. Thanks so much for sharing

daisy: Omg thank you so much this is perfect my hair didnt feel stiff or tangle up as fast ❤

Sahiba Tasnia: she talks so slow like a princess. I love her

Hannah A: THANK GOD!!!! I've been looking for a video that really works and finally found it! My hair turned out beautifully! Thank you soooo much! :D

Ray Carlitos!5: I tried this out and my hair is short and works much fine. I find it harder wrapping your hair each time and have to wait for a long tome. Can't wait! Subscribe! Plus got kinky hair too

Flying V-S Farm: I started something similar to this and was blown away by the LACK of frizz that I had problems with in the past. I have naturally curly hair, so any way of fighting frizz is the most WONDERFUL thing!  Also, I would love to spend time in NYC during the Christmas Holiday. I'm also nosy, so I love lifestyle photos as well as hair photos. Aslo, love following you on Pinterest for all the hair pins there! <3 Always

Clementine Drinkwater: I've just tried and it really worked!! Thanks for sharing Mega <3

StrAwberriM00n33: Thanks for the great tip! I'm ready to try this ^_^!! Woohoo!

The RivrPrncess: Thanks for the great tip. I occasionally use no rinse water based shampoo and the directions say to thoroughly towel dry the hair. I would love to go to New York. I am also from NC. Oh and I tried your Instagram link and it did not work.

styles_n_smiles: I haven't been to NYC but so want to go! I don't mind the personal pictures on instagram....it was actually kind of nice that you shared your personal vacation with us! As always great tip!

Brianna Johnson: it worked, I have my first day today. and I finally got my hair dry.

happy stuff: thank you! This worked so well.

Joana Parga: worked perfect thanks a lot

HarryPotterPotatoe: it works amazingly!

soflonds: Great info - thanks!

Ebony 93: Is this method used to take out most of the moisture leaving hair slightly damp? or is your hair supposed to be completely dry afterwards? My hair oil says to apply to towel dried hair but I'm not sure if I should completely dry my hair first or add into slightly damp hair and let the rest air dry

Hannah Croft: Another idea which I use is a t-shirt. You do the same kind of method but its better! It soaks up more water then the towel and stops frizz better too! Sounds strange i know, but it honestly works amazing!

matttnathan: who else here is a boy with long hair lol

Julie CSQ: Awesome now my hair is as clean as possible

The Unicorn Squad: Thank you! This really helped and I’m in the bathroom right now XD

Anjor Bhaskar: The best channel ever. thanks a ton. love your videos. Do you have some permanent solutions for hair that is always sticky, dry and entangled and sooo difficult to comb?

Lauren Flick: I use an extra towel for my hair TOO!!!

Megan Mengel: Omg!! Totally works!

Jade Shepherd: Thank you, I didn't think it would work on mine :)

Stacey Vickery: When drying your towels in the dryer do not add any dryer sheets they make the towels less absorbent they might be soft but they'll be more absorbent.

Britney Ogle: Never knew thanks so much

DoubleTen95: How long do you leave it on?

Mohammed Hussein: thanks this dryed my hair fast

SammyN: I went to NYC when I was a teen with a bunch of exchange students.  I LOVED it.  Particularly China Town.  Didn't get to see a Broadway show since we were young and they wanted us in Jersey overnight before it got too crazy.  Can't really blame our guardians for that! lol  So I'll have to go again at some point.  Also, there's just so much more of it that I want to see. :)

NelleyVision: Sweet :)Definitely gonna try this method! I've been to new York! Wouldnt wanna live there but definitely loved visiting !

Christopher Dong: That's what I do every time anyway.

asma almahri: who is watching this before going to shower ?hhhhhh

Amanda Reilly: I have been to New York for about 2 days and it was really fun! I walked around times square and went around sight seeing. I would definitely go again to see broadway or some other cool things!

Bina Mistry: Wow this really helped

Adriana N.: FINALLY, someone with sense!

Josephine Joy: it works so well

Nazir Ahmed: thanks for the helpful tips

Its Me Riley: So I was trying to find out how to dry your hair fast because my hair takes forever to dry and sense it's the winter and I have to take the bus, my hair will freeze. Whenever I try this it never works it takes about 2 and a half hours to dry. I don't know if it because my hair is thick and curly any tips?

Arnold Farrell: Not to brag but even though my hair is longer than yours I don't just let it air dry. I find myself going back to the bathroom and running my fingers through it or brushing it.

Dafuq: Im watching this in bed i wanna do it but im too tired to jump out of bed

sunset moonrise: Thank you for your videos!! You're so cute and you look gorgeous without makeup!! Lucky!!

Kiaaa: it worked!!!!

Vasantha Kengatharan: Who has long hair and this is one of the problems like me?

Darian N: I know I'm super late responding to this video because I just watched it lol. I'm a guy and don't have a lot of hair but still take a lot of time to dry my hair when I get out the shower. I'm from NY and I really like my home, it's definitely an adventurous place and there's so much to do.

Katrina Bates: it worked!!!!!

Lauren Flick: OMG!!!!!! I need to watch this video in Tuesday (which is today) I took a shower a bit to late THANKS!!!!!

RikaRiskedLife: LMAOO NGL, I do some of those tips myself while my mom taught me to do the 2nd thing which she did that can damage your hair.. welp!

Skibbie: thats some awesome hair drying ;)

Lizzett Mendoza: it worked yay

Skarrface: So do you not use a hair dryer at all?

Ananya Sood: does "towel dried" hair means 100% dry??

Its Valuqqed: Thankyou!

Simplistic_Sammie: Awesome!

Rose The Weird Phan: Why does my hair look soo bad when its wet

Thu Dao: It works

MrTashi333: Excellent idea I like

Kristin Hutchinson: it works

MissLauraSquared: Never been to NYC... I don't have a very strong desire to go there. Big cities are so dirty (I visit Chicago frequently) and crowded that it's difficult for me to appreciate all the things available to do.

Charmaine Blackie: Wish there was products that can control frizz or wwhatever it going on with my hair when it is long. All I can do is put it in a pony tail

careigns ng: omg this works fo me

Nomadic Gamer: Please make different ways to wrap hair in towel please please please

Salpi Vartivarian: The background is dreamy. Feels like paradise.

Saniya Ashok: it was a good explanation, tyam mam

Bernadette Hynes - Cafferkey: I must try this instead of putting my hair up. Why are hairdressers so rough with hair, scrub the scalp as hard as they can, roughly towel hair, put the hairdryer on the hottest setting and cook my hair and I leave with flat lifeless hair and am usually traumatized, even if I tell them to be gentle with my hair they ignore me, and this is in every salon I have been to.

Dinuri Gamage: its not good to use a towel to dry your hair

ICEcold Juanito: I be leaving to school with my wet hair, by 2nd period I look like a 40 year old man I'm trying to dry my atrocious hair in less than one hour

julia dinğar: I think it will work

Meaghan James: I come from a larger city (the biggest in Wisconsin), and my hope is to go to college in New York. I haven't been to New York, but I'm a big city girl at heart :)

Random Stuff: Omg thx!

Abdulrahman Hamdallah: Towel makes ur hair frizzy I think

AndreiShadow: I would go there once, but i wouldn't stay because big cities only steal your mind or rather it's overwhelming for the senses :D

Westonator5000: huh. i basically already do that

Beautybabexoxo: No offence, but your hair would dry ALOT faster than somebody like me for example with super thick hair, which makes this video a tiny bit less helpful, but still great video :) Just letting you know xxx

AyeItzKezzy // RBLX Gaming: Worked for me and I'm 12

Tramisha Tso: Only one word....Wow
