Sometimes a small thing can make all the difference: hey guys, I'm back with another video, and this video is a pretty exciting, but you're gon na have to stick around to the very end, to find out why this one's so special, but first I'm gon na start Off by telling you all about the perfect haircare towel, which you have been seeing me use in my videos recently, I've been trying this towel out for a little while and for the longest time I used a cotton t-shirt to dry. My hair - and this worked very well for a good chunk of the time that I have been doing the curly girl method and, as you can see, it's slightly pink. Yes, this used to be my husband's shirt and I accidentally washed it with our red bath towels and now it's mine. I had many a good wash day using this t-shirt and thought there was really nothing that could compare to a cotton t-shirt when it came to drag my hair. I have tried other microfiber towels in the past. This is a cheapy one from Turbie twist. Another really good option and it's slightly pink because again washed it with those red bath towels. I used this and I never really just loved the results that I got. The shape is nice because it is easy to put on your head, but I mean I wasn't just super excited by this towel and the results that I was getting with this towel. Along comes the perfect hair care they reached out to me and asked me if I'd be interested in trying one of their towels and brushes, and I was like sure, oh I'll, give it a try and they were kind enough to pre-wash it for me and shipped It to me - and this is what it looks like the I'll - go ahead and write the actual dimensions here on the screen, but you can see it fills up the entire screen and the main thing you're looking at right here is their logo and this a special Loop closure so I'll go ahead and insert a clip right here of exactly how I plot my hair using this towel hello. Clearly, I have already blocked my hair, but I'm going to take it off and show y'all again exactly how I pull out my hair with this towel. I tried this a couple of times in my closet and it just didn't work in this pink one. So pretty alright, so I've got this towel laid out on my bed and I put the closure facing away from me. So there's the logo slash closure and there are lines on this towel from where it's been folded. So I can see exactly where the middle is. I'M going to plop my hair just slightly towards the top of the towel close to this closer to the closure, and that will give me the perfect spot. I just let my hair accordion all the way up. I grab the back of the towel and I put it at the nape of my neck. Then I just gather the rest of the towel right there and I'm going to twist. Then here's the fun part, here's the closure. I take the front of the towel and stick the end through the closure and pull tight. When I pull it tight, it secures it down without crushing my hair and making my curls squashed in a wonky. Also, it's not going anywhere. It is on there, which is fantastic if I want to run around the house and get a couple of things done before I'm ready to dry my hair and, as you can see from the clip my curls weren't crushed to the top of my head. There was a little bit of space there that allowed them to retain their shape without being flashed. That was the hardest thing for me to work with. When I was using my cotton t-shirt, if you want, you are welcome to go back and watch my very first video on clapping, but you can see that when I plot my hair with the cotton t-shirt, it does kind of smash those curls down. On top, I find that plopping with this I do get better root, lift and root volume, but that's kind of beside the point. The point is: is this really that much better? Well sciency brain Courtney really did want to know that how on earth is this microfiber? Towel so much better than my t-shirt, because guys this stuff soaks up so much water without creating frizz and I was just flabbergasted - I didn't know how that worked. So I contacted the company, which is actually a small, family-owned business, and they were kind enough to tell me exactly why. So I didn't understand exactly what microfiber was and I'll insert a picture right here of a blown-up version of microfiber microfiber is actually made up of two materials: a polymide and a polyester and they're designed to interlock together to allow that strand to absorb more water. So because of this interlocking design, the microfiber can actually absorb up to seven times its weight in water, and I knew that this particular microfiber towel was incredibly smooth. It feels, like t-shirt, material, it's kind of that same weave. Let me see if I can show you really up close just how smooth this is now, I'm going to show you what a regular kind of microfiber towel looks like. Let'S see you can kind of see that there are rough loops and bumps on this, and if you want to do this experiment yourself, you can actually go to your local grocery store and go to the auto parts section and get a microfiber towel designed for cars And you can run your hand on it and you can see exactly what microfiber feels like you can actually feel, especially in the winter. If you're like me, I don't know if that's gon na pick up on camera, but my hands are incredibly dry right now. Super attractive but my hands are really dry and I can actually feel those loops of microfiber catching on the dry flakes of skin on my fingers. Now that is the biggest beef from some curly hair hair stylists. They feel like microfiber, grabs the hair too much and creates frizz, and I can totally see what they're talking about when I'm running my hand on this, and I feel that the microfiber is literally clinging to tiny little flakes on my hands. This is what your hair looks like when it is very healthy. You see how smooth that hair cuticle looks. This is what your hair cuticle looks like when it's damaged. You can see that it's kind of raised up and if this microfiber towel is grabbing the dry skin on my hands, it's gon na grab and pull at that raised, cuticle on a slightly damaged hair and, to be honest, just about everybody, even with really really healthy, Hair is going to have one or two strands in their hair that has a roughened of cuticle. It'S just gon na happen in the course of your day to day life through mechanical damage through your win through something you're, probably going to rough up that cuticle, and if your microfiber towel is exacerbating the issue by grabbing at the roughened cuticle. It'S going to make it a lot harder for you to maintain the health of your hair, because it's constantly pulling at it. Alright, so microfiber can create frizz, because it's kind of grabby feeling. That is why yeah, let me just throw that on the bed. That is why, for the longest time, I thought a t-shirt was the way to go, because when I run my hand on the t-shirt, I can feel it grabbing at my dry skin on my hand, but just barely so much less than the microfiber towel, and I Thought, ok, this is gon na work. This is going to be the way I want to go, and I rocked that for a long time, but I'm gon na try and show you really up close. Can you see how the edge is just a little bit rough and fuzzy? Now I'm gon na show you what a cotton t-shirt looks like under a microscope compared to what the perfect haircare towel looks like under a microscope. Big difference right, like the t-shirt kind of, has a bunch of fluffy for the bits that are just frayed: cotton that are wanting to reach out and grab hair and create frizz, and here on the perfect haircare towel. You can see just how smooth it is, and you can really really feel that when you run your hand on this, when I got it out of the package, I was like wow. This is really smooth. I have no idea how this is going to dry. My hair, because it kind of felt like a piece of silk, and we all know how absorbent silk is not very also. This thing is really really lightweight. I was wondering okay, what is this really thin like? What did this look at how thin this is? Can I even turn it sideways enough so that you can see? No, I can't cuz. I'Ve got skills. Let me try hold on nope, it's not gon na. Do it justice. I don't think I can do it justice. This thing is paper paper-thin, maybe not as thin as paper, but it's close the first time I used it. I was floored at how much water it got out of my hair, but in the past, when I had used a microfiber towel that had absorbed that much water that quickly out of my hair, it had created frizz, but because of how smooth this towel is. It absorbs a lot of water while not pulling any hairs out of the curl clumps, keeping your hair looking really really frizz free. This thing is incredibly gentle and because of this closure, when you close it up, it actually will tighten down on itself a little bit, and this fabric is just a tiny bit stretchy, not a lot just a tiny bit it like won't move off of your head. I have run around the house like a madwoman trying to get ready and get everything set up for the day and get everybody out the door on time while wearing one of these and my hair never moved. It was fantastic and also this towel is a really good size. It'S not too big and not too small. Here are some different ways that you can tie this towel I'll, just be showing you the way that works best for me, but you have a lot of versatility with this this towel. You don't have to tie it just one way when you have a turban, like this you're, pretty limited on the number of ways that you can use it and if the one way you use it doesn't work, then then that's that a t-shirt allows you a little Bit more versatility, but not even as much versatility as this one, and you may be asking yourself Courtney: is it really worth it? Is this towel really worth it? I mean come on it's a towel! Well, I'm gon na kind of harken back to what I said in my protecting my curls at night, video about how, for the longest time, I was sleeping on a synthetic satin pillowcase and when I finally started sleeping on silk, I finally realized what everyone was talking About when they said that, silk is just better for your hair. My silk pillowcase has absolutely helped my hair, so so much same thing same thing. This product is just different. It stands above the rest. The design has been really really well thought out. The material is just outstanding, oh and I forgot one more thing: there is no stitch on the side of this towels that is even less chance for something to snag on your hair and yes, I have washed this towel several times and I have actually tried to Pick the side of it to try and get this fabric to fray. I can't get this fabric to fray. So even though there's no seam, it doesn't fray. So less friction for your hair. This is such a cool towel. They did a really good job when they designed it. I almost forgot to talk about their brush. I really appreciate this company because they put in so much thought into each of their products. This is the pink brush kind of like the pink towel. Obviously it comes in black, but it also comes in that light, pink color I showed in the demo of me plopping. This is their light pink brush and this brush is very similar to the classic wet brush, but the bristles are longer and because they're longer they are more flexible. I use the wet brush for a very, very long time with doing the curly girl method, and I thought okay really. There can't be that much difference in this brush guys. The longer bristles really do make a difference. It grabs more hair and it detangles my hair. Much more easily who knew that making the bristles just a tiny bit longer would make that much difference, but it sure has for me. So this is really cool, because the company sells these as a package deal on Amazon, so you buy one, you get the other and honestly for getting both of these together. It is a really affordable price and definitely worth checking out if you've been on the fence. About possibly trying this towel, but you haven't done it yet. Fuzzy5149: Finding your channel has been a game changer for me. My curly hair has never looked better thanks to your videos. Thanks

Marna van der Wal: Honestly... YOU! I have learned SO much from you, I’m overwhelmed. I bought Zotos products because of you... love them, and I bought a silk pillowcase because of you. Thanks for all the info and recommendations.

Nicole Mooney: One thing that has completely changed my hair routine is to style upside down and to SOTC! I know this sounds silly but I really had no idea I was supposed to scrunch it out! Growing up I used to put mousse in it and just leave it (my mom always did this on me so that's all I knew) and my hair always looked hard and crunchy with little definition, but once I started doing the CGM and learned to style upside and SOTC my hair has transformed!

hansenshandmadehandsome: Thank you so much for the very info-packed review! I love how you always show the research on all the products you talk about! I just took off my microfiber turbie and ordered my perfect haircare towel

Sahana: Congrats on the 20k subs Courtney! I'm very new to the CGM method so I don't have a tip just yet. I've found that deep conditioning has really made a noticeable difference in the overall health of my hair though. I've been looking forward to trying the Perfect hair care towel out for quite a while now and hopefully making it a part of my routine, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!

Good to Be Free: Learning how to refresh has TOTALLY changed my hair game! Also learning that I should be adding product while my hair is dropping wet has also been a game changer! I’ve been doing it “wrong” for 20 years! Yikes! Love all your videos and tips! Keep it up!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Samantha Sumner: Congrats on 20k!! The biggest thing I’ve noticed was just spending more time spreading conditioner in my hair! I used to just smooth of over real quick, but now that I take my time I’ve noticed a HUGE difference!

Renee Shenk: Thanks, Courtney! Another well-thought out, wonderful video, as always. The thing that has changed my hair routine is adding neutral protein filler to products to make sure my hair doesn't get over moisturized.

Beauty in the Mundane: Yay!!! Love your channel Courtney :) You have really encouraged me to embrace my swavy/curly hair! Something that has helped me in my hair care routine is cowashing every other wash day! I love using the Cantu cowash.

Josie Hernandez: So happy for you Courtney! You are my favorite wavy/curly to watch! Patience and alternating deep treatment and protein treatment has helped. I was ab to give up and thankfully my waves started cooperating. Lol.

Marlene Archila: My hair was starting to thin really bad. I believe everything about the cg method has made my hair do a 180 degree turn. It looks healthier, shinier, less frizzy and looks a lot more full! I would love to be able to try this towel for even better and healthier results ❤️

Lydia Reilly: Learning to protect my hair at night with an invisibobble, silk scarf, and satin pillowcase has made a world of difference on my next day hair! My hair is still transitioning and not always the best but watching your videos makes it feel like I have a handle on what I’m doing. Thank you ❤️

Bivian: Thank you Courtney for all your information! Just starting out my curly girl journey and so far the biggest game changer for me was leaving some conditioner in!

Kim Kerr: There's alot more than just one thing for me that had totally been a game changer in my hair routine that I learned from you. To narrow it down to one is truly hard. I'd have to say plopping with a t- shirt instead of a regular towel. Thank you so much for your videos & please continue to keep making them! You're amazing girl!

Stefani Hillrich: For me using a specific hair towel or t shirt and learning when to deep condition/protein treatment have been the biggest changes! Still working on the right products but those have definitely been game changers so excited for your follow count, I love watching your videos!

Christina Colongne: That is so exciting!! Congratulations on reaching 20,000 !!! That towel is fascinating ☺️. I’m curious how that brush would work. I tried your wet brush technique when I used the blueberry bliss leave in, kinky curly custard, and Dippity doo girls with curls gelee (gel). The results were bomb!! No frizz for days .

Mandy Bennett: Micro plopping and using a denman brush have helped me immensely!! Very interesting in a wet brush though since that’s basically what I use my denman for! Congrats on 20K, Courtney!!

Jennifer Dunn: Congratulations on 20k! The biggest game changer for me was getting rid of curl envy! Embracing my own texture and making sure I did what works best for me. I was so happy to find your channel because we have a similar texture/porosity (different density). Following on IG (@bookaholicmom).

Nicole Bateman: WOW 20k!!! Congrats girl, you deserver all of it. :) Very intrigued about this towel. I've tried so many things but havent found anything better than my trusty cotton T. One thing that has been a game changer for me is plopping really wet hair with my Kinky Curly Custard. Gives me great definition. Thanks for the giveaway! Off to follow Perfect Hair Care on Instagram!

Good to Be Free: Styling with soaking wet hair has made a huge difference for me! Also, I can’t wait to try this towel! It looks amazing!

Baseball Jen: Courtney! I ❤️ you! You are so adorable and intelligent! I love how you explain the science of it all. I recently got The Perfect Towel. I wasn't even sure how to use it correctly in general (Im new to all this as you can tell from my pic! HAHA!) let alone for plopping! This was super helpful! And also not annoying where a lot of ppl talk too much about nothing but all of your videos I've seen are always informative & you explain things hella well while being hella normal & cute! Im so glad I learned about your channel!! In this case I just wish I'd known that the brush & towel came together in some cases! I just grabbed the towel on Amazon! ‍♀️ LOL! Thank you so much for your channel & sharing your experience to help the rest of us! You're fantastic!!

Belinda Talliere: My “one little thing” is plopping! It was just the method I needed to make a big change in my frizz problem. I’ve used T-shirts, but I’m going to check out the towel, looks to be a good fit for my routine! Thanks Courtney!

Clarice: Watching your videos has made all of the difference for me! Other than that, doubling the amount of conditioner I was using and drying with a T-shirt has made a big difference as well. Besides getting this towel/brush, I'm looking forward to adding a silk pillowcase to my Christmas wish list!

Gabrielle Elise: Applying my curl cream and gel to my hair when it’s still soaking wet has totally transformed my hair! My curls have turned out so much better after starting to do this!

Janet McCall: You have been my game changer! I am new to the curly girl method. I have been binge watching your videos. I really appreciate all of the knowledge (and science behind) that you have shared with us about the CGM. I can finally go out of the house with my natural curls, now that I am learning how to keep them frizz-free.

Brenda Martin: Thanks to one of your videos, washing my hair upside down and then using the wet brush to align and detangle my hair has definitely helped my waves clump together! I absolutely love the results! ❤️

Jessica Parsons: Using a wide tooth comb to comb conditioner through my hair proved to be a GAME CHANGER for me. I did not think it would do anything but WOW it helps the conditioner get into my hair and helps my curls to clump.

Tara Lytle: For me washing, conditioning, and styling upside down has really helped with volume and definition. Also adding a leave in with protein has been wonderful! Thank you for introducing me to Curls Blueberry Bliss leave in!

Naomi Benatar: Using WAY less product has let my hair look way curlier than ever before! Also, using the denman brush to style took the bottom parts of my hair from a matted, frizzy mess to the most well defined area of my whole head!

Sacha Lundgren: Congrats on 20K!! Love your personality and helpful tips! Hard to choose just one thing that's helped most but I think it would be that my hair likes protein and keeping a protein/moisture balance is essential. And that towel truly sounds perfect!

Mary Ormsby: One thing that has totally changed my hair routine is roping in my products! I had not heard of that technique, but once I tried it I couldn't go back! I am a fellow barely wavy, and this technique has made such a difference in how products apply and distribute in my hair!

Let’s Live Upstream: Congrats on 20K!! I'd love to be entered. I've been doing CG for a little over a month and have been using my hubby's t-shirts and totally agree - it feels like it's smooshing things down. Def going to check out the brush too! My daughter who is 7 has curly hair too and we need more detangling help! (especially if it means less tears!)

Leslie Wanner: I’m still learning my hair and the best application for my hair but I think the best advice I received was either go simple with products initially or take pictures. Take pictures and making notes have really helped me! Also, if I change products or application method, limit to one change at a time to know the true effect on my hair

Julie Bruce: I have always “worn my hair curly.” I never knew I needed a curl cream! Best thing for my hair.

Alex D'Amico: Congrats on 20k! I am not on Instagram so can’t take part in the giveaway, but I so appreciate your videos and all the wisdom you share! I have a very greasy scalp and I NEVER thought using a co-wash or even a sulfate free shampoo would ever keep my scalp clean for more than a few hours, but seeing that you had success with both made me want to try! I’m still early in my hair journey, but my hair is definitely feeling healthier already. Thanks, and keep the great content coming!

Natalie Mosko: Getting the right hair cut has made all the difference for me. I had gotten curly cuts for a year and decided to get it cut above the shoulders at my last appointment. So much more wave and volume! That, and changing up my part for the first time in 15 years has made me fall in love with my hair again. ‍♀️❤️

Maya Hagen: One thing that has definitely changed my curly hair routine is adding more water when styling my hair. I also found that plopping with a microfiber towel really helps with my curl definition! ☺️

Robin Shealey: Allowing myself grace and not striving for perfection --something that watching your videos has definitely helped me with!

Danielle: Congratulations on 20k! I really appreciate your channel in guiding me as I am new to the curly girl method. You make learning this new lifestyle fun! So far quitting on the heat has made a difference in my hair health.

Ashley: The one thing that has totally changed my hair care routine is you honestly. I was so intimidated by the cg method and all that in entailed. Found your videos and have been watching every single one since. And each video has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I’m learning how to care for my hair properly, but more than that, to also just love my hair in all its stages ♥️

midnightstoker: So many things I’ve done differently with my hair. Squishing to Condish, brushing my hair wet to create clumps, sleeping on a silk pillow, learning products that work for me. Always looking for ways to making perfect curls.

CailynAmanda: The thing that has changed my hair care routine is the squish to condish! Conditioner never really did anything to help my hair before, but once I learned that technique, my hair is so happy!

Brenna Cat Beauty: The most important thing that has changed my hair care routine is using a conditioner in place of my shampoo! I have learned so much from watching your channel the last few months! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing your ideas and stuff you use (:

bailey nicole: using a wet brush has totally changed my hair routine. before, my hair was so frizzy and wouldn’t clump but now as soon as i brush it my hair gets so smooth and clumps together. love you videos

lauren h: I've been doing CGM for like 15 months or so... the most important things (there's a few) I've learned is to cowash instead of shampooing every wash, gel + mousse is amazing, plop for 10-20 minutes before diffusing, and always always sleep in a satin bonnet! thanks for the opportunity

Kelsey C: I just started the curly girl method this week but I have definitely noticed a difference using a t-shirt instead of a regular towel! It’s amazing!

Hannah Schulte: Clarifying my hair and finding out ways to refresh has changed my hair. I’m able to get to day 4 with decent curls!! I use an old cotton shirt when I plop so this hair towel would be amazing!

Tara Carpenter: I'm just starting the Curly girl method, and have been learning a lot from you. Today I used a wide tooth comb while it was wet to get my hair too clump. It worked really well. I'm excited to get a Denman brush in the future.

S B: Thank you so much, Courtney!! I got perfect haircare towel and Shark hairdryer - and it has been a game changee for me!! I also ordered Jessicurl but it even before those arrived I started having best hairdays! This goes a long way to say that techniques to style and dry have so much to say than products themselves. I used to plop with generic fiber towel (that has loops in it) and airdry/and even tried diffusing with another diffuser it was horrible ‍♀️ My hair were big frizzball (EVERY SINGLE TIME), and now I rocking beatiful waves and curls! Thank you soo much

J Layton: For me, getting rid of silicones has made the biggest difference! Love your vids! Following both on IG!

Britt: Hey! I just started the curly girl method and one thing that really changed my hair care routine is plopping. I’m doing that with a t shirt now because I don’t have a towel yet. But it’s already so much better, less frizz and my hair feels so light. I’m still looking for a good towel and this one looks very nice! Your hair is so beautiful and your videos are always very helpful for me. Keep doing what you do!!!

***Amy LeoGoddess***: The plopping method was a game changer for my hair! I finally have my waves looking great & lasting days!!! Thank u for doing this! I love ur channel!!!

Sarah Lynn: A diffuser totally changed my routine! Before I got one I almost gave up on the cgm because it seemed like my hair never dried and I hated that feeling plus when it did it finally did it was limp and gross and frizzy so when I got a defuser I got much much better shrinkage, definition, and volume and I could actually do a fairly quick washday

Selina Hopkins: Using a clarifying shampoo once a month and switching from regular towels to special hair towels has made SO much difference in reducing frizzies for me!

Audrey A: Styling with soaking wet hair! It gives me definition and volume like no other! I love watching your videos and you're the reason I started my curly girl journey this summer!

Cyndle Tate: Using a cotton “towel”, and learning that I need a lot more protein than I initially thought I needed!!

Francine Arrington: Everything you have taught me has been a game changer, but the best has been learning about the right products. I now have the hair I’ve always wanted ever since I was a young girl and I’m 63 . Thanks Courtney!

Shaina S.: While I’m still new to the CGM, I’ve learned that I don’t need shampoo everyday!! That was a big step for me. I was so eager to learn about better shampoo/lopoo options and to “listen” to my hair. It’s constant trial and error but I’ve already seen results within a few weeks :)

Manaky: Your videos made a huge difference, because I could see that even with 2a, 2b, 2c hair you could have fantastic looking waves and curls. And thanks to you I know the giovanni brand now (especially the leave in) and my hair never was this soft and feeling so healthy since I use this brand. So my game changer was definitely to start using a leave in. That was something I never did before. And my name on Instagram is Sonnenschauer3 :)

Robyn Durham: Lately my game changer is a second sealer to hold my waves!!! Using Giovanni foam, but will try a gel at my second sealer and see how that is!! I love the information you share. I too need to know why things work!!!

Christy Wiggins: I had been using a microfiber towel, but have recently changed to using one of my baby's old muslin blankets because my towel wasn't soft. It's really helping. Also just getting back to co-washing is a lifesaver. Thank you so much for this and congratulations.

A. C.: One thing that has totally changed my hair care routine is weekly deep conditioning. I don’t have a thermal cap so I wear a shower cap with a winter hat over it to smoosh in the heat haha (edit: I don’t know how you’re going to check IG without our handles, mine is GoKaiserGo)

Teresa S.: I bought one of these and have been using it for the past couple weeks. I love it. My hair air dries so much faster now. It would take hours to air dry, but now it's almost dry by the time I get to work. And that hair brush is sweet. I've begun getting that lift in the front with my bangs.

Hailie Wolfe: The bowl method for rinsing has been amazing for helping me get awesome clumps on my wavy hair! Would LOVE to try this towel! I currently use a Norwex microfiber turban, but I've worried that it is causing the frizz!

Chawntona Wilson: Scrunching in my gel after conditioner and cream instead of raking it through has made a huge difference in getting better curl clumps. Thanks for all of your advice!! ❤️

Darcie R: Instagram has been a game changer for me! I was already using a silk pillowcase and clean hair products, but IG has opened my eyes to all the other knowledge I had no idea I didn’t even know! . Wet plopping, moisture/protein balance, layering stylers, the difference diffusing can make, etc etc

C Moodie: First thing that has helped me was knowing that I am not alone in my lifelong curly girl struggles. I was first introduced to the CGM by watching one of your videos. By doing so, I've set off on a new journey to embrace my curls. I had no idea that I had to "scrunch the crunch" and that the crunchy feeling now known as a "cast", is a good thing and not a result of poor product that ended up in the trash..lol. So... THANK YOU COURTNEY!

Samantha Cromer: A few things changed my hair care routine. 1) letting conditioner set about 5 mins before detangling 2) sleeping on a satin pillowcase 3) refreshing curls

BeautyWearsBoots: The little thing that made a difference in my hair routine was product free days! It's taken a ton of stress out of my life!

zueblue22: Adding Olaplex #3 occasionally has made a huge difference in my hair!! Thank you for the sweet giveaway! I hope I win. I recently discovered your channel and I love it!!

Amber Cash: Thanks for your review! I've been eyeing this set for a while. I was too late to enter the giveaway but I was able to use the generous discount code and ordered 6 (Christmas!) through your affiliate link. Yay!!

Mrslewis611: Switching from a cotton pillowcase to a satin one has made a huge difference for me and my curly kids!

Victoria Mahoney: I tried doing the CG method almost a whole decade ago when I was 12-13 and I had gorgeous hip length waves. One thing I didn’t do was repeat the final wash and I got frustrated and went back to normal products and gave up. This time around, doing that and adding protein products in has made a huge difference! I have dense fine wavy hair like you and finding your channel has helped so much. My IG is mahomeyishere :) congrats on 20k!!

Little Fang: Using specialized hair towels that AREN'T towels has changed my hair routine overall. I never realized how much I was breaking my hair and frizzing up until I switched over.

Jessica Newcomb: I learned about pixie diffusing from your channel and it dramatically reduced the frizz I get from diffusing! I have been using a cotton T-shirt and would absolutely LOVE to try this towel! Thanks for the opportunity!

Deanna Golden: I recently started the bowl method and it is making a HUGE difference!!!

MK Griffin: I’m still learning how to master plopping and clumping my curls. I’m not giving up though, I’m sure I need to invest in a towel like this. Love watching your videos!

JV Wayman: Deep conditioner! My wavy hair has always been super frizzy and dry no matter how much leave-in or gel I used. Turns out my hair just needed some moisture! Still trying to remedy the frizziness, but deep conditioning has completely changed my hair game :P. Thanks Courtney! Congratulations on the big milestone!

Bree: Wet plopping REALLY changed the game for me. It made my style last longer, and my hair isn’t as heavy.

BarkingBakers: Awesome give away! I’ve learned so much- taking out sulfates and silicons really helped

Lisa F: Plopping then damp styling changed it all for me. Wet styling just weighed down my swavy hair. I have fine hair and this was a game changer for volume while retaining definition. I’d *love* to try this towel. I use a Wet Brush for clumping but this brush sound even better!

Mackenzie Cale: Zotos bouncy cream is a game changer! I’ve even used it as a wash and go without gel and it does fantastic when I want to do a quick wash day!! (P.s the whole line is on sale today!! 10.25.19)

Jennifer Gasiorowski: One thing? Can I say everything? You have been a huge help in educating me on the many different rule, techniques and products. You are my go to, my # 1 to getting through this hair journey! Thank you Courtney!

Ashlyn Davie: I typically wash my hair at night and go to sleep afterwards, but as of late, what has made a huge difference in my hair the next morning is letting the gel cast fully form and harden up before heading to bed! That way my curls don't dry in a weird shape or get crushed overnight

Melinda Miller: When I decided to let my hair go naturally gray at 52, my hair is still wavy but a new animal. It's like starting all over. I need so much more hydration!! Still figuring out the rest. I love my natural color!(Kentucky Wildcat love)

Jen Quick: I wanted to tell you I really enjoy watching your videos, and thanks to you, I ended up purchasing the perfect hair care towel bc I've heard you mention it a few times!! Thanks for all the videos, they're super helpful and fun to watch as I'm getting started on this curly hair journey!

Cathie Phillips: I've just started the curly girl method so this is pretty easy :) I've started using better products that will help repair my hair. I will soon feel comfortable enough to venture out to other products to find what works best for me. I'm very excited about the possibilities. Even though our hair types are different, I really enjoy your channel and have learned a lot.

Dabra Seiken: Heya. Using your tip and taking breaks from styling has saved me from totally going the buzz cut route. Now I can choose to rock my waves or not.

Tromellag313: Learning that I should put my hair in a pineapple and sleep on a silk pillowcase changed everything for my haircare routine. I could never get my loose curls to last past day one until I started researching the curly girl method, because they would get so tangled overnight that I had to brush my hair out and use use a flat iron to get decent hair. Now I can keep my curls looking good for several days in a row! Congrats on 20k!

Erika Hall: I love love watching your YouTube videos it has changed my life with my CG hair !! Using the right products has also helped change my hair. Thank you again for taking the time and making the videos and always getting back to me with comments

Michelle: I got the best results by plunking/plopping with this towel yesterday! Thank you for showing me how to use it!

Danelle Kriest-Reifsneider: Hey congratulations!!!! My game changer was hair trims and using Innersence. Absolutely lv my curls now. I also use my husband's shirt because it works better than the microfiber towel and I have no idea why I waited so long to use his shirt lmao

Renee Heyer: Changing up my products to sulfate and silicone free has helped my hair. Love your videos!

Jessica Warner: One thing that totally changed the game for me was "Squish to Condish"! It made my hair clump like never before!

Gigi G: Going glycerin-free on my styling products made the biggest difference in preventing frizz and creating a cute air-dried style. I have very fine, 2A waves and even when the dew points are lower (which is rare where I live) my hair still prefers no glycerin. Thank you for all the great information!

Joy Hartshorn: I think one of the things that has helped me tremendously on my curl journey is learning what my hair likes, and cutting out what it doesn't; Protein, glycerin, etc. Love your channel, hope you're having a great week!

Holly Pasko: Wet plopping is my favorite thing! I will leave the towel on for 10-15 minutes while I am putting my makeup on - kind of like multitasking, it takes moisture out of my hair, it so it diffuses a little quicker. I think this towel would help dry my long curly much faster than the cotton t-shirt I currently use. Another game changer has been my satin pillowcase, not only does it help with the frizz in my hair, but it helps my face hold on to my nighttime moisturizer. The cotton pillow case just absorbed everything, which is not good for my face & hair...

marisadaniela6: Most important thing I've learned is to not get discouraged by the inevitable learning curve and not to give up on trying new products and methods, even when wash day feels like spinning the wheel of fortune And, also, taking my time amd not rushing through it (when i can) adds major definition to my waves/curls!

Andrea Grossová: Well my whole hair routine was bad but the one thing that has helped me was not to be afraid of putting conditioner, milk and gel on my hair and to not brush it dry. I have to say that my hair completely transformed! Thanks to you

Susanna Lange: Wow looks like a great towel! For me using gel has totally changed my hair for the better!
